I wanted to provide tele-therapy services for a reputable company but I wasn't familiar with any of them. I researched in an effort to find a company that would be beneficial not only to me but to my clients as well. Based on the information I read, I found that Better Speech was the perfect choice. There are issues with scheduling and billing. However zoom works well and documentation succinct but quite well organized for sessions

Better speech utilizes Zoom, which is the best platform for speech therapy sessions. They have a wonderful materials library for therapy and homework activities. The customer service and tech support is excellent. My supervisors are SLPs and can relate to my expectations and needs for providing the highest quality of service. Better Speech doesn't micromanage my clinical choices and treats me as a professional. The pay is better when compared to other companies. Over the years, I have worked in all settings, and this has been my best telehealth experience.

If it were not for Sondra, we would not have stayed with Better Speech. Sondra was the constant when communication among the customer service and higher ups was sparse and non-consistent. Sondra is someone my child still asks to say hello to and I wish her all the best. Thank you for the pleasure of working with you.

My daughter really did make progress with her speech therapist. One of the reasons we stopped before she was fully finished was that her therapist was leaving and we were "almost" done. The therapist started late and ended early multiple times. Twice there were problems with connections, once we were not even able to connect and we still were required to pay...so there are some negative things with virtual therapy. It was great to be able to stay at home and get therapy though, especially during covid height when so many places were closed. The closest place to us that was covered by insurance was downtown and it is hard to find parking. Doing this weekly would have been a pain, so I was glad to get therapy. Eventually I think I will have her return, it is just not in the budget.
