I had a fantastic experience with Nick as my property agent while buying my flat. He was incredibly responsive, always quick with communication, and consistently kind and professional throughout the whole process. Nick arranged multiple viewings for me, we viewed the property three times, and he was patient and helpful every step of the way. His support made the buying process much smoother and far less stressful. I would highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated agent.

Dele and his team in Hampstead were excellent. After a short discussion, he came over, viewed my flat, took pictures, listed it and, despite it being the end of the season he was able to rent it out at my asking price. The whole process was smooth and completely simple!

Extremely poor service – Hyde Park branch

Very disappointing experience with Benham and Reeves, Hyde Park branch, dealing with Asim Shah.

Despite providing all requested documentation and clearly demonstrating affordability well over three times the rent, our application was failed by their referencing provider with no clear explanation. There was no meaningful communication, no transparency, and no evidence that the landlord was properly consulted on the offer.

Instead, the process relied entirely on an automated system, with repeated requests to re upload the same documents, while pushing for a holding deposit. No common sense or human review was applied.

If this is how tenants are treated, landlords should question how professionally their properties and offers are being handled.

I would not recommend Benham and Reeves or their Hyde Park branch.

The most irresponsible property agent in Colindale area.
They acted as my rent collection agent for a rent out property in Beaufort Park in Colindale. They tried to charge me 8% fees but at the same time asked me to chase rent from the tenant by myself. They tried to put this terms in the agreement without telling me, if I wasn’t care enough to read through every terms I would have misled by them. And as the Deposit (TDS) holder, they have failed many times to address the issues raised by TDS. And I have to answer TDS questions and documents all by myself.

They only play a nice face when they want to lure you to appoint them, but once appointed they will try every effort to avoid doing their duties. If you want to ask for document proof for what they have done on your behalf, they will turn a none-of-your-business face to you. And when problem really happened, they will say that it is your own problem not theirs. Never apologize for missing or oversight.

They think people can only go to them for service if you want to find property in Colindale. Therefore they never care about providing a professional service.

They are the worst property agent I have ever seen, only trying to take advantages from you.

If you want to let or rent a property in Colindale, remember never go to Benham & Reeves.

When you see their reply, they are trying to side track the issue again. They said they are not managing the Propety, but exactly they are having an agreement for rent collection and managing deposit protection scheme for me. And exactly they have failed to provide sufficient and timely information that almost caused TDS to reject my case. And at that time they still said that it was my problem. I’ve never seen such arrogant and irresponsible agent.

The service was good until it came to the point of payment of my rental amount. I informed the office that I have permission from HMRC not to debit my rental 20% tax as a foreign citizen, because I am doing my self assessment for a long time , and no other agency removed my taxes from my rental amount. I was surprised to receive the funds less 20% taxes. I was told to contact HMRC myself and give them your agency reference number to claim my money back. I believe I should have been told what to do before payment was made, and I should have been given the agency reference in advance, not afterwards. I classify it as non care attitude, to be honest.

Completed a purchase with B&R with the help of Nick Grossi. He kept us informed from the beginning, providing any information very promptly and keeping a close track of the process. Always available and very reliable agent. Many thanks to Nick.
