I was impressed by the level of detail and quality. everything was made exactly as described, and the finish was even better than I expected. Definitely worth it.

I was genuinely SO excited to receive the belt, but the entire experience has been extremely disappointing. I placed my order at the beginning of January and waited over six months, only for nothing to ever arrive.

What bothers me most is that this was not a made-to-order item. It was already produced, with only a minor flaw (a mis-stamped number or something like that), which is why it was offered at a reduced price to me. I completely understand waiting a couple of months for a custom piece, but in this case, there was no reason for such an excessive delay.

Since I ordered it through instagram, there was communication, but it was basically the same promise over and over again “I’ll send it soon” or “by the end of the week.” I was hopeful and patient but after hearing that for months, it kind of stops meaning anything.

PLUS I never got any ORDER NUMBER, he just took my money and probably planned to keep telling me he will send it, until I couldn’t get a refund on PayPal.

I’d strongly advise not buying anything, but if you are “famous”. There is a chance you might actually receive what you paid for. I was really looking forward for this belt so i am strongly dissapointed.

Also, I would like to point out that I am not the only one complaining about this…

I ordered a custom belt of Jason and this is not just a belt this is bad ass Jason also asked if he could use a design now I own on the first black friar.

I think 6 months of waiting was enough. There is communication, but it's very vague. I got my refund luckily from PayPal. It should be mentioned clearly that product takes at least 3-4 months to deliver,.. but also possibility that it never will. Also order status has been delivered for quite some time, so it's all shady. So, I really can't give much stars, sorry.

Really unfortunate to write this..I ordered the Chris Holmes belt. I'm a big Chris and W.A.S.P. fan. In fact I know Cathy Holmes and some acquaintances in the UK. The belt never arrived after waiting 5 months. Jas advised custom issues etc but that went on indefinitely. I received shipping confirmation but contained no tracking number or shipping company. I queried this and was given vague reasons. I gave another week but received no reply and therefore had to escalate a case via PayPal. I have all the proof of this so it cannot be denied. It's really unfortunate but I think others should be warned..

What can I say? My 2nd belt from belts by Jas and the craftsmanship once again is absolutely fantastic. Thanks jas

I saw this berserker belt on social media. I knew I had to get one. The standard of work is outstanding. I don't really leave reviews but this was a must.

I've just received my iron maiden replica belt. The quality of this product is outstanding. I've always been a maiden fan and worn this belt is awesome.

This belt with Jim Morrison on it is amazing! The design perfectly captures his famous look.

Ordering from Belts by Jas has been without doubt the most laborious, frustrating, disappointing and truly miserable consumer experience I have EVER had.
In Sept’ 2024 I pre ordered the Adam Ant 'Stand and Deliver' belts. Two belts, three buckles. He said they would be ready by the end of that month. They weren't. I had dodgy vibes from him from day 1 when I asked him the same question 3 times and although he responded he avoided my important question every time. I should have gone with my gut and walked away. Every month since Sept’ 2024 I have contacted him for updates. Each time he would either say "They should be ready by the end of the week" OR "They should be ready by the end of the month." 14 months after they were supposed to be ready, I still didn't have them. How could he get it so wrong?
I read and understood the terms for pre ordering belts and how long they can take to make from scratch. Fine. My problem is that THREE MONTHS after he eventually claimed the belts were done and packed and I would get a tracking number 'in a few days', he still hadn’t sent the belts, I just got excuses.
Not one single image of his Adam Ant belt set exists. He has completely removed the page on this belt set from his website as well. There are a few of his belts that have 'sold out' but there are still pages for them, so it's not because of that. Why has he removed it? There is not one shred of evidence that this belt set exists. On 18th Nov' 2025 three months after he said they were packed and ready I realised I would never get the belts so I asked for a refund. I get a response two days later saying he will get my refund sorted. 4 weeks went by no refund. I contact Citizens Advice. They advised me to give him a 2 week deadline in writing. I did. 2 weeks go by, no refund. I contact CA again, they send me a template letter from Trading Standards saying if the refund has not been given in the next 2 weeks then I will take him to court. I got a reply within 5 minutes he said and I quote: "I said I would Fondue in Goodwill and I will, but if you want to take it to court, that’s up to you, brother." Apart from the embarrassing spelling, it's rather a contradicting reply! Why would he say “If you want to take it to court, that’s up to you” if he had any intentions of refunding me? It's been over THREE months since I asked for a refund now and still no refund, even after threat of court action. No explanation, no apologies. Inexcusable. Unreliable and totally unprofessional. He doesn’t care AT ALL. He claimed “I don’t lie” and “I’m very professional”. From my experience, it’s the total opposite. What a joke. Look at his 5 star reviews. FOUR of them have almost identical wording with different names. THREE were left on the same day and ALL of them have only ever left 1 review on here. Hmmm.
The customer service he provides is terrible. He ignores many of my emails and when he finally replies he says “If I don’t reply I’m not ignoring you.” What is it then? I gave him hundreds of pounds 18 months ago in good faith and this is how I am treated. NO BELTS, NO REFUND. He's taken my money and delivered NOTHING.
Just like the other 1 star reviews on here, he makes excuses and delivers empty promises. I’m in touch with someone else who ordered the same belt set and he’s been treated exactly the same as me. Appalling. Handing over hundreds of pounds of my hard earned money to a complete stranger and get nothing in return except contempt and a hole in my wallet is absolutely sickening. Everything I have stated here is fact and can be backed up by statements and emails. I repeat... This has been the most miserable consumer experience I have EVER had. I honestly would have been better off flushing my hard earned cash down the toilet. At least I wouldn't have had this headache to deal with over the past year and a half. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to Belts by Jas. Nobody should be treated like this, it's absolutely disgusting.

The communication was great and the product is fantastic. I am a Doors fan of over 36 years and I never imagined I could own a belt so close to Jim's....until now. It's a beautiful piece that I'll always enjoy!!!

I ordered a replica Doors belt from Belts by Jas last year. I have it and it is wonderful.

A few months later I ordered a $150 necklace. I paid in advance as I did with the belt in summer of 2025.

After months of requesting the necklace by email, I still have not received the necklace even though Belts by Jas said he would get it to me soon.

I don’t write reviews very often.

I just wanted the necklace but I have no confidence in Belts by Jas, especially when he asks for payment up front along with ordering from overseas.
