We love to help people make better coffee no matter what their tastes are, we know everyone likes their drink differently so we’ve made it our mission to roast the best coffee possible that’s bursting with flavour whichever way you brew it! We've been around since 2008 and roasting our own coffee in our Liverpool Roastery since 2015. You might have visited us in one of our coffee shops across the North West or we may be coming to a high street near you soon. We roast a range of speciality coffee that’s available on our online store, including many single origins and our signature Bean Blend – a number of which have won Great Taste Awards that we’re really proud of. Our passion for coffee comes from our love for the way it’s made, the people who grow it and the incredible pride and care they take when nurturing every single coffee plant and preparing each bean in harmony with the natural environment they all thrive in. From visits to coffee farms across the globe and the close relationships we hold dearly with farmers and trusted import partners, we have embraced our responsibility to help make the coffee industry better, starting by knowing exactly where our beans come from, who is growing them and who’s handling it between the farm and us. Understanding this chain is the key to ensuring a sustainable future for coffee growing communities and the ability to continually improve quality of coffee and quality of life. Closer to home we do our best to build meaningful partnerships that support our local community, and have been working with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital with our limited edition single origin beans hoping to raise tens of thousands of pounds to support the incredible work they do. I use this coffee shop a lot as it has a good atmosphere but recently I have seen something that upsets me. I understand that all outdoor eateries near the docks or in the City have a problem with pidgeons and seagulls looking for scraps but on two separate occasions I have seen the same male employee when clearing the outside tables spray the birds with the disinfectant spray he was using on the tables. I think a simple wave of the hand is sufficient and find this use of a potentially harmful substance unpleasant and unnecessary. I will wait to hear a response from the management before deciding if I am to visit Bean again.

Opening time stated as 8.30. Got there at 8.30, waited around for a while, no sign of life. Don't advertise as opening at 8.30 if you don't open at 8.30. Maybe there was a genuine reason they couldn't open at 8.30 today and if so I apologise.

The customer service is also good. I put a wrong delivery address in my order. So I sent an email to them and they fixed inmediately.

You'll not find better service...
You'll not find better service from any organisation. Leah 'knows her customers' - that's my experience anyway. I get my order delivered as a subscription, yet I feel like I'm a regular at a local shop in a little village. Such personal service - I feel valued as a customer... Aside from that, the coffee is just delicious and I can't live without it. #beanteamrock

Never have i had coffee where the flavour notes are SO pronounced to the point where i can smell the fruit so clearly upon opening the bag.
My first shot of espresso was one of the best i've ever had, straight up blueberry and brown sugar, so good :)
