Don’t trust this company

We sent our BCM to be checked by this company and they managed to loose our BCM and then didn’t respond to our emails after this. We had to pay over £500 for a replacement. After reading all these reviews it’s clear it’s scam website. Please don’t waste your money on this company.

Sent email and had one back saying not…

Sent email and had one back saying that they know who I am and not interested bye bye!

I have Never even contacted them before, I then emailed back saying is this how you treat your customers? I then got email back saying haha how old is you son you clown! What a reply you either not in business or you won’t be very soon taking to customers like that!

BCMrepair.co.uk Report

This is a summary of my recent unhappy experience dealing with BCMrepair.co.uk

The problem I had was that both the front windscreen wipers & washers stopped working on the car (VW UP)

I contacted an auto electrician who believed that the fault was due to a problem with the BCM

Then contacted BCMrepair.co.uk sending picture of the BCM. They accepted saying it would cost £210 if faulty.
The BCM was sent to BCMrepair.co.uk (bank transfer of £210).
The BCM was returned reporting that it was a replacement one citing dry contacts as the problem
On inspection of the returned BCM I noticed that it was the original BCM that was returned not a replacement. Retained photos confirmed this & were sent to them (reference numbers before & after are identical). When fitted this made no difference to the original problem. On reporting this to BCMrepair I was told that the PCB had been replaced and they insisted that it was a replacement BCM.

The car was sent to the local VW dealers for diagnostics testing and the cause of the problem was found to be a blown 10amp fuse – this had not been detected by the auto electrician.

On reporting this to BCMrepair (photo of VW dealer’s report supplied) they started accusations of lying to them, threats of passing the issue to their legal teams, saying they have proof that I’m not genuine from my “name down to my emails”. They claim that a blown fuse would have shown up as a fault. However, this is not the case as there is no smart system for reporting most blown fuses on the VW UP.

They say that they will refund the money that I paid, if I return the BCM they had sent back they will then return a faulty BCM that they claim is my original one.

Further talks with original electrician said he thought the supply was from a 20amp fuse not 10amp.

I know that the blown fuse was the original cause of the problem and nothing to do with the BCM. I know that the BCM that they returned was my original one. BCMrepair believe otherwise and will accuse, threaten and make refunding very difficult.

BCMrepair may very well be a reputable company who are just protecting themselves from fraudsters.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service. Boast on there website that they collect repair and send back within 24hrs. I have been waiting 6 days now and still hasn’t been collected. Been in contact every day and given excuse after excuse ! I have lost 6 days of trade so far at cost of thousands of pounds. And now looking to find another company to fix my BCM. Stay away from these people ! 2026 Update … now threatening me months and months later. Be very careful with this company. I have reported them to the ombudsman and FCA so hopefully the will be shut down soon. Another update 13/2/26 this company continue to threaten me and Lie about my review. This complaint was made on the 24/10/2024 and two years on they are still threatening me. I can only guess this is there fear tactic to make people remove there reviews so they can continue to scam people. You only need look at other people leaving this company similar reviews to wonder how they are still trading and haven’t been arrested for there open threats on here. I feel harassed alarmed and distressed. But I doubt there company will get closed or and police involvement from there threats.

Absolutely disgusted with the service…

Absolutely disgusted with the service I’ve received currently seeking legal advice. Sent my bcm for repair not only did they not repair the fault they also managed to cause another fault leaving me with an unusable vehicle. Communication is non existent and they deny any responsibility. Will probably end up having to buy a brand new bcm and have it programmed. Also didn’t stick to any of the promised timescales and blamed it on the courier not having my address… go figure. Avoid like the plague.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS. Sent in my T5 BCM to be repaired, came back with even bigger issues than it started with and I got to pay £250 for the privilege. I now have to go out of pocket AGAIN to see if someone else can not only fix the initial issue, but now fix their mistakes as well. NOT HAPPY!! Avoid these scammers at all costs.
