I placed an order with BC live spot prawns three weeks ago. My credit card was charged and I have received no communication from them despite multiple emails and phone calls

We ordered the spot prawns, it was good, however it was mixed with some small prawns with it, we were disappointed. Last year, it was big. So this year, we ordered 8 lbs. at $26.00/lb. were disappointed because lots of small prawns mixed with it.

We also ordered sockeye salmon 3 weeks ago, we asked for 5 lbs. but only got 4.25 lbs. The sockeye salmon was fresh and we enjoyed it very much.

Some things are good, some things are great and the fresh sockeye fillets that I had delivered were EXCELLENT!!
They were individually vacuum packed and icy cold. I cut them into individual portions and re-vacuum packed them. Absolutely no fish smell and the flesh was very firm.
The delivery came early in the day and the driver was very courteous and showed a genuine concern about the produce.

Great fresh seafood. Mom n pap are great with their honest answers to whatever questions they are asked. Loved the sale deal and advance pre-orders.

I tried to place an order for two Fisherman's Gift Boxes on the website, but after adding them to my cart, the website instructed me to email my order instead. So I emailed my order, including my current shipping address and phone number.

Darrin immediately called my cell phone and said he didn't have the portion sizes of salmon that came with the gift boxes, but that he had half fillets he could substitute at a higher price. I agreed, and he asked me to send him an Interac e-Transfer for $245. He said he was in a hurry and flying out, so I sent the e-Transfer.

I received a UPS shipping notification, but there was no further information until Friday, when I received a delivery photo showing the package had been delivered to an old address that I haven't lived at in over a year.I wanted to place my order through the website, but I couldn't because it directed me to email my order instead. Since I never reached the shipping section of the checkout, I couldn't update my address through the website. That is exactly why I included my current shipping address and phone number in my email. Darrin used that email to call me and request an e-Transfer, but he never used the shipping address I provided.

I immediately contacted Darrin and explained that the order had been shipped to a different address in another city, 1.5 hours away, and that I didn't know the people living there. He told me he hadn't looked at the address in my email. I explained that he should have shipped the order to the address I had clearly provided.

He told me he would reship the order, but that I would have to pay the shipping. He also said he had been awake for 30 hours and would take care of it on Sunday (this conversation took place on Friday).

Sunday came and went with no follow-up. I waited until Tuesday and texted him because I still hadn't heard back. He replied, "Just a second, I'm driving the boat." It is now Wednesday evening, one week since I placed my order, and I still have not received any follow-up.

I understand that mistakes happen, but this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Darrin said he would reship the order, then failed to follow up on Sunday as promised.

After I contacted him again on Tuesday, he once again indicated he would respond, but never did.

Because he requested payment by Interac e-Transfer instead of allowing me to complete the purchase through the website, I had no practical financial recourse when my order was shipped to the wrong address. It really sucks because, had I been able to complete the purchase through the website as intended, I would have been able to update my shipping address there. Instead, I followed the website's instructions to email my order, clearly included my current shipping address, and my order was still shipped to the wrong location. One week later, Darrin has still not followed through on what he told me he would do.

The sockeye was really fresh and great quality. The ordering and pick up at the wharf in Ladner was excellent and very efficient. They are really nice people to deal with.

The sockeye salmon we received was fresh from the boat, not yet frozen, and absolutely delicious!

Ordering online was efficient and got my order right. Totally better than lining up with the crowds at Steveston!

The seafood was all thrown into one big bag. Not a single one vacuum sealed. Not the first time ordering this and they were vacuum sealed previously, so I know. Cutting corners

The delivery date was moved and I have to chase the customer support to get an update. And it was delayed two days later. I stayed home the day it was supposed to be delivered on so fish won’t melt. Very inconsiderate.
The weight was less than ordered.
They used to be very good. I was not satisfied with the service this time around

Wouldn’t recommend their delivery service. had to clear my whole day to be at home for the large delivery window then the delivery was cancelled and had to be rescheduled to a different day - they said they would freeze all the product (already not ideal) to keep things fresh. then on the day-of turns out one product (uni) was not actually frozen and I feel the quality was a bit questionable as a result for something that is supposed to be eaten raw.

Love the new pre-order system. Got an email my order was ready earlier than expected which was a nice bonus. Spot prawns were delicious as always.
