Perfect service from Alex
Myself and my partner are extremely pleased with the service we received. We dealt with Alex throughout the process of getting our mortgage. He was extremely knowledgable and very responsive to all queries we had. He gave us regular updates and is very hard working. Brilliant service, cannot fault!
Dean was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. He was very clear about the different products available to me and was also very quick when it came to getting paperwork done and communicating with other parties.

James thoroughly researched the market and presented alternatives, the team were able to assist when he was away from the office and it was lovely to receive a personal hand written cars to welcome me to my new home!

Shambolic from start to finish
Shambolic from start to finish. First time buyers be aware! If it wasn’t for knowing people in the industry we would’ve been non the wiser. Poor response times, inaccurate information and when pointed out that we were not happy with the level of service we were just told “things are busy” by the owner James.
BB told us that our builders were not on the ‘approved builders list’ and therefore we needed a new mortgage at a higher rate…after doing some legal digging we discovered no such list exists. After challenging BB with this they corrected their error and blamed the bank…
We felt as though any question we had for BB was responded with “I don’t know I’ll find out for you” subsequently nothing would follow until we reach out again weeks later only to get the same response.
The only time BB were interested to reach out to us on a regular basis was to request payment. Poor service and a lack of customer care.

Good afternoon Tom
I am disappointed to hear that your experience wasn’t to your satisfaction and whilst I appreciate this must have been frustrating for you I am a little perplexed as to why this has only just been raised at the end of a nine-month working relationship.
Reading through your feedback, I was surprised to read that you feel that we were to blame for the issue raised around the approved builder list. An email was forwarded to you on 17th August at 9.09am which contained a copy of an email we had received from the lender in which they themselves advised that the builder was not on their approved list which in turn resulted in them advising that the mortgage loan amount would have to be reduced to 85% LTV or below.
You then forwarded the email in question onto your builder who advised that the lender may be in the wrong as they had had mortgages approved with them in the past. You advised us of your builders response at 9.19am the same morning following which we immediately rang the lender. During this conversation the lenders apologised and admitted they had made a mistake as the builder was in fact on their approved list. They agreed to proceed on the basis of the original application i.e. 90% LTV and issued the revised mortgage offer whilst we were on the phone. A copy of this offer was then sent over to you at 9.50am.
At the time I know we were apologetic for the inconvenience you had been put through but in no way were we deflecting the blame from ourselves because as we stressed to you on numerous occasions at the time, this was an error from the lender and not on our part which you readily accepted. Given that you were sent email evidence of the lenders error, we are therefore very surprised that the content of your review appears to place the blame back with ourselves.
Our communication channel with you throughout the whole mortgage process was robust, keeping you informed of the application progression, advising when the valuation was instructed and keeping in regular contact with your solicitors to see the mortgage through to completion as quickly and efficiently as possible.
We strive every day to ensure our clients receive the best professional service going and appreciate all feedback that can help us maintain the high standards that we set ourselves.

James was very accommodating throughout the whole process. It was not a straight forward process for us to get a mortgage but James came up with a solution and made it possible. For two people that knew nothing about mortgages he made it simple and easy to understand. He always answered phone calls and emails promptly. I would highly recommend.
