Awful company and awful customer service

Do not order from this company! I run a nonprofit and sent several baskets to our top donors for holiday gifts. The biggest, most expensive of the baskets I ordered was so poorly packaged that the wine leaked all over everything, and the basket itself was smashed. Instead of receiving a nice gift, our donor received a broken, sticky, completely unusable gift. She contacted Baskets Vermont for a refund for us. They asked her to send photos, which she did. They then only refunded 20% of the cost saying most of the contents looked okay, which they weren't. They were covered in a sticky wine mess, which didn't accurately show in photos. Despite repeated emails from me and the recipient, they refused to issue any more of a refund. I will never use them again.

When damage is reported, our team reviews the details and supporting photos provided to determine an appropriate resolution in line with our policies. While refunds are assessed based on the condition of the items shown, we understand your frustration and apologize that the outcome did not meet your expectations.

Delivery updates great

Great updates regarding delivery, although it has arrived two days early and was left on the doorstep of the recipient. I still haven’t heard whether they’ve received it.
Also I was surprised that a gift ordered from Burlington came from much further away!

Do NOT order from here! I ordered a wine and cheese basket for grieving family members and it arrived with broken wine glasses, rotten food, and MAGGOTS! I called their customer service and spoke to Jun who was clearly just reading off a prompter which tells me that this type of thing happens often enough to provide their customer service reps with a prompt! I don’t think I’ve ever been so embarrassed to send loved ones a gift! If you actually want to send something nice, I would not choose this company. If you hate someone, well you’ve found the right place.
