We tried to buy the Black Friday deal (BOGO). Their website kept offering upsells, which we did not want and unchecked before purchase. Yet, we were still sent an extra pair of shoes (i.e. 3 pairs in total), which we were initially charged for, and were charged the unwanted shipping insurance.
We received the package only after having to contact Barestep ourselves to follow-up on why we had not received the package. We did then manage to get them to process the refund for the extra pair of shoes, but still had to pay for the unwanted shipping insurance.
Upon finally receiving the package on the 11th of December, we found that it contained 3 pairs of Active 2.0. One pair fit correctly, but we wanted to exchange the second pair, and informed them on 17 December 2025. Returns simply were not working on the mobile ssite, the have NO telephone support, and the customer support representative tooks DAYS to respond on email. In fact, they took so long to respond that we also had to change addresses for shipment twice.
We requested specific replacements that they had in stock at the time, but they've taken so long to respond that those sizes then sold out. It is currently 16/2/2026, and we still have no resolution.

The Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Horrible horrible horrible. Worst company that I have ever dealt with. It has been more than two months trying to sort out what was initially an exchange, but has now turned into a refund. Flabbergasted by this shocking service. No way to contact them at all.

Love Barestep, most commutable shoes to wear, especially if you stand or walk a lot.

I've tried to make contact with the company for almost a week. The size fit is too tight, I relied on the "easy swap" policy but it seems it not working.
This is the problem with a digital only platform. There are no contact number to register complaints.

I believe the pills are helping me. I need to lower my A1C. They really help with numbness. I would like to renew my subsciption. I have told 3 of my friends about the pills. They suffer with numbness.

I went out on a limb...ads can what they want. As a 100% disabled veteran, with foot issues obviously, shoes are a must work for me. I now own six pair. Multiple whites, blacks and now the boots. I have recommended them to all my hospital people...people who walk around disney all day... bare feet.. love to be in them...and now I can wear them... hard to believe they are actually shoes.

The shoes came quickly. They are very comfortable. I like them a lot.

Bought my first pair and then realized I should have bought smaller size. They were very comfortable. So, I decided to buy 2 more pairs (smaller) and they are great. I have them on now. :)

Great shoe. Quick delivery. I will buy more.

I don’t usually complain about service but this was a particularly annoying experience. I ordered during their BOGO special and accidentally ordered on size wrong. The exchange process wasn’t bad at first, Mary was very helpful. But then - my house number was never added to the delivery address and The Courier Guy got lost (for both the first delivery and the second). The exchange was a complete mess, they pretty much forgot about it. Then when I emailed them, they sorted it out BUT then my cell number given to the courier was incorrect and I had to email again to find out what was happening. Not sure how they got my number wrong because they had it from the first time. The shoes are comfortable but I don’t think it was worth the effort.

Order not delivered andcant get hold of customer support.

Delivery was quick after purchase but then one pair had to be exchanged and its been a month now and we haven't received the new pair yet.

I havent received it yet...you told me to send my cell phone number I have...no delivery as yet.

Very bad customer service on returned items

I received the incorrect size. The courier collected the incorrect size. I have still not received the exchange pair. I have emailed.numerous times to follow up without any response. There is also no contact number to call. Turnaround times are very poor. Terrible customer service overall. Most unfortunate. Will never buy again!!!

RMA9606143 for order #BS55392 is still not complete. You have not refunded me and you have not actually delivered my shoes. You are a **** company that doesnt follow through on orders, I will never recommend you.

What went wrong!!!! You are kidding me!
I still have not received my replacement order. The sizes were wrong and i sent back my order and paid the return fee. This was in December !
Still not received the two replacement shoes.
What terrible service from this company. I will recommend never to use this company again.

I logged a return in December already. I still have not received the replacement shoes. They respond on email very rapidly but to date no delivery has been made.

I sent a item back for a size change, it has been received by Barestep but nobody is getting back to me on the replacement. I have sent numerous emails to no avail. Return was received 2 weeks ago
