Had two Banquist boxes now. Both excellent with good instructions and even better videos. Take your time and you will have a great meal and learn some new stuff too

Had a couple of these now, and each time we have not been dissapointed.Super top quality ingredients, very fresh and well packed.Instructions by video are very easy to follow and clear to follow when you are watching first hand the master chefs cooking.
Definitely worth doing.

Tried Banquist for the first time and loved it. The whole experience of cooking together was fun and we’ll be doing this again. The YouTube film was very helpful and easy to follow. The ingredients are all provided in well labelled boxes. It was great fun and the meal was very tasty.

Tried Banquist for the first time in March 2021. The food came well-organised and packed. The written instructions and video link were comprehensive and easy to follow if you're a reasonable home cook. The ingredients were excellent quality, and actually in greater quantity than absolutely necessary for the recipes! Excellent food and wine, and I think reasonable value - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience.

We’ve ordered 4 banquists now and they just keep getting better and better. So exciting to receive your package on a a Friday and see all the lovely ingredients and such a sense of accomplishment when you produce an amazingly tasty plate of food. Could not recommend enough!!

Another amazing meal from Banquist! This time with Simon Hulstone, I bought the experience for my Husband as a present, he only started cooking last year during the first lockdown. When he read the menu he thought it sounded great but there’s no way he’d be able to make any of that. However with Simons excellent tuition he excelled himself. The quality of the ingredients as last time was impressive and as already mentioned a fabulous menu. Can’t recommend Banquist enough..... we’ve got our next one booked already.

We have had several Banquist boxes and enjoyed them all, but the recent Mike Robinson meal was something special. The venison Scotch egg starter and fallow dear main course were both brilliant, and it was very satisfying to make them ourselves at home - we've learned a lot from these menus. There are some foodie companies that seem to have difficulty delivering to us in Aberdeenshire (one of them from Central Scotland!), but we've had no problems with Banquist deliveries and really appreciate the email and video support along the way.

Simply love !! I think this is a great concept and is so well run. The team are professional and helpful. I cannot recommend this enough and encourage all friends and family that love cooking to give this a go.

The first time trying something like this, I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew! Especially as it was for Mothers Day. However, the instruction guide was easy to follow along with the Simon Hulstone video on YouTube. I Will be trying this again, and Banquist gets 10/10 from me.

We had Mike Robinson's meal for two. Right from the start the experience was great. The initial communication was clear, the instructions were easy to follow and we learned how to make perfect Scotch egg!
I am looking forward to our next Banquist meal

Does exactly as they promise, quality ingredients, perfect for a at home treat night...

First time using a cook at home box, let alone one of Michelin starred quality and I was blown away by it all! From the quality and packaging of the ingredients to the menu and recipe card through to the brilliant and easy to follow cookalong video with Simon Hulstone, it was a 10/10 experience. Will definitely try again once I have bought sharper knives 😬

Great proposition - you get to cook your own Michelin starred food and it really is. Very well organised, simple and clear video. Great ingredients. Hope they succeed post lockdown

Just cooked and eaten the Simon Hulstone. 4 course scallops, duck , chocolate what could go wrong. Absolutely nothing, the YouTube video was excellent would recommend watching at least once before starting and I would also recommend keeping a full afternoon free to prep, but was fun and ingredients excellent. Will definitely recommend. Oh and btw the wine was amazing.

What an amazing experience our zoom group had during our recent Banquist meal with Mike Robinson.
From ordering and delivery to support to follow up.... everything was top notch!
The quality of the food and the video as well as the wine and cheese pairing were not only of the highest quality but also delicious and super fun!
We can't wait to order another one!

Easy to follow instructions whilst still challenging to make. Enjoyed the cooing and the eating.

I’ve ordered 3 times from Banquist. The first one was great so I ordered again. The second delivery was missing the main ingredient (Wagyu beef). As they offered an apology and a discount on the next order I tried again. The third time I managed to order for a date which was in the past (which I’ve since found out, was due to an issue with their website provider).
*I’ve received a rapid response to resolve the latest hiccup along with an explanation, sincere apology and goodwill gesture. Updating my review to reflect this.

We really enjoyed our Banquist experience. We love cooking and dining out, so Banquist was the perfect experience for us!

The communication we got throughout was really clear, and the delivery was really straightforward.

What I found really interesting was that the majoriy of the work was in the prep - this made the actual cooking and plating up really straight forward, and meant sitting down to eat each course was stress free - I didn't feel rushed to get back in the kitchen to do the next bit!

We enjoyed attempting to make the presentation as good as our michelin star chef, Sally Abe, and the food itself was delicious. We had such a lovely evening and would really like to do it again sometime.

Lovely menu, good wine pairing and everything was really good quality and fresh. Good portion sizes with extra over. Instructions were clear and video was easy to follow. Thoroughly enjoyed preparing and cooking the meal and we were very happy with the results. Will use again.
