Really great fun experience and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

What a great way to spend an afternoon. It's like Christmas when you open the box, there's loads of little parcels of food for you to expolre.
Depending on which Box you buy there is quite a lot of prepping to do but you are guided step by step by the You Tube Video of the Chef cooking the meal. So you really cant go wrong.
The food is exceptional and for a few hours you are a Master Chef. An add on is that you do pick up cooking tips that you can use in your own cooking.
I've loved the experience that much I will be receiving my third box in a weeks time.
Its a great opportunity for you to explore different Cuisnes by Top Chefs.

This is the second time we have used Banquist and we were really impressed with changes that have been made. The section on prep we found really helpful. The timing and pace of the video was really well thought out. There were lots of helpful hints and tricks to help us improve as cooks more generally. All of the elements of the dishes were fresh. The dishes we created were all delicious and the plating instructions meant they looked good also. We really enjoyed the experience of cooking and eating this meal and would definitely do this again. We also had a lovely red and dessert wine that was paired with it.

Our 11th(?) Banquist experience of as one of the best! The menu was wonderful, Jiten’s instructions were clear and easy to follow and the produce was fab. I really enjoy expanding my skills and having a wonderful meal at home.

We had our Jitin Joshi spicy meal last night, my birthday present. My taste buds are still tingling!

Everything arrived when DPL said it would, well packed and insulated. We left in the fridge for a couple of days, everything was still as fresh as when dispatched.

The video was a good watch, and well taught with hints and tips though out. I cant say the plating looked the same, but it tasted FAB.

Its something you can do as a couple, my husband did the starter and me the main, so we had fun in the kitchen together for a change.

Will defo do again, no expensive taxis home!

Excellent!! Such a wonderful interactive experience for my husbands birthday. Dinner for two with Alex Bond and it was absolutely restaurant standard recipes and it tasted amazing. Not your average heat up! Cook from scratch but they hold your hand all the way through so it is achievable. We’ll definitely do it again.

This was fabulous! The food was superb quality, delivery was efficient, the explanation of how to cook was clear, and the meal was incredible. It really was fine dining quality at home. I have a small baby and will definitely be ordering more of these in future instead of (once lockdown is over) paying more for a less-tasty restaurant and a babysitter.

This was given to me as a birthday present and it was a great present to receive. The parcel of ingredients arrived within the hour slot I was given, all still cold in the packaging. The video was very clear and concise with some useful tips. The recipe card was also clear and it could not have been made any easier. The food was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed cooking it. The only improvement I would suggest is, could someone come round and do the washing up after!

Honestly, we wouldn’t have changed anything. It felt like and tasted like an amazing meal out OUT which we haven’t experienced in so long. From receipt of the boxes, the unboxing them and prepping it was super fun. We had a proper date night and I was sous chef, pot cleaner and Spotify DJ, it was such a lovely experience.

I know it sound cheesy but having an actual menu set scene. The food? Bloody delicious!

We ordered the Mike Robinson meal for two, with the cheese course too. Absolutely loved the whole thing - the recipe was easy to follow but the printed version is just the basics - you're very clearly asked to watch the whole video before cooking to see the chef's full techniques and plating up style (so as the previous 1 star reviewer didn't follow that simple instruction I'm not surprised she found it 'hard'. People, eh?)

The difficulty could have been a bit higher for us, to be honest - we're keen to learn new techniques as well as eat good food, but that's something we'll look for in future Banquists and not at all a fault of this menu, which was lovely.

Every course exceeded expectations and a great night's cooking and eating was had. One minor thing is the suggestion that the accompanying red went with all courses. I don't think it does, really - stick with white for fish and keep the red for the meat (or order the champagne as we did) and it's a better fit.

All in all, happy to award 5 stars and look forward to our next one in a few weeks time.

We got the Alex Bond package, paid £120 for it. The written instructions missed loads of the stuff out - but the instructions were in the video. We assumed the recipe card had the full instructions so this didn't work out great. The wine was mediocre and cheese was disappointing. Overall it was just a disappointing experience and we wouldn't get it again. Far too difficult with unclear instructions.

Update: communicated via email and partially resolved the issue as they have offered partial refund for compensation. I can see that they care very much about customer satisfaction.

If you're a good cook and have the time to follow both video and recipe card it could be worth it. I can't say I loved the experience, it's meant to be a high end dining that's supposed to be easy at home. Perhaps I'm just a bad cook and others just find it easier!

This was a fabulous Valentine experience; everything arrived on time and carefully packaged; the video instructions with Chef Tony Parkin were easy to follow, the level of difficulty was fine and we both learned a few new cooking techniques. The meal was delicious and the accompanying wine excellent. This was the best home cooked meal we have had during lockdown. We will definitely do this again!

Celebrating a wedding anniversary during Lockdown meant our usual visit to a lovely restaurant wasn't possible. We love the food at Alchemilla in Nottingham and saw the advert to cook something at home. It was a great fun experience. All the food was superb quality and between the video and recipe card we prepared a really stunning meal. Short of actually going to the restaurant - this is the next best thing!

Loved it, food came out great, cooking was suitably challenging but not stressful difficult. Video really helped, just drop the lift music!

Have done two Banquist menus this year and they’ve both been excellent. The whole experience feels special and memorable, especially doing them via zoom along with other mates. Everything is slick, well put together and well thought out. Top ingredients, clear instructions and the videos are a great addition to the experience. The menus are delicious and there’s a wide range of skill level and variety to choose from - it’s such a treat to have this quality of meal at home.

Loved the Valentine Day menu designed by Tony Parkin, very professional explanation both in writing and video together with first class produce. We spent a happy time preparing a delicious meal and felt we were in a Michelin star restaurant. Could not recommend Banquist more highly.

I wish I had found Banquist earlier in lockdown! About to have our 3rd menu in just 6 weeks, it's that good. The ingredients are of amazing quality. I have never had an artichoke, onion or parsnip quite like it - and that's just the veg highlights! Everything about Banquist is so well thought out, the food is packaged responsibly and the menu and how to cook it, explained really clearly. It really is the highlight of the week to get the box and gives something different to do. Can't recommend highly enough!

Absolutely delicious menu for Valentine’s Day. We had the box by Tony Parkin and it made us feel like we were back in a restaurant. Really special. The instructions were clear, communication was excellent and the video guide was extremely useful. Can’t wait to cook another one!

The Valentines experience with Tony Parkin was fantastic. It was the first time I’d ordered Banquist and I was really impressed. Amazing food and excellent wine pairing, the written instructions were good and the video was not only helpful but really high production value - made the experience feel more luxe. The effort vs reward was balanced well, there was enough cooking to make you feel like a chef but it was simple enough that it was not stressful or too much work.

The Valentine’s special by Tony Parkin was amazing. The food was of great quality, the instructional video on how to cook it was straightforward, and the wine, champagne, and cheese were all perfectly paired to the experience.
