I bought a "sterling silver" necklace from them last Xmas and it turned black already, even I only put it on once. The item has never interacted with water or chemicals but was placed on the table in the shade all this time.
Not a real sterling silver, waist of money !

The availability of products, ordering was easy, the updates are very good, delivery was on time and well packaged, the quality of the jewellery is very good but there were knots in the chain and it took me a good 30mins to untangle them, overall the service was very good

BUYERS BEWARE. I purchased Elegant Red Amber Bar Cufflinks from Baltic Beauty for £69 (advertised as reduced from £130) as a birthday present for my fiancé.

They were delivered on 6 July, checked on arrival and stored safely, completely unworn. When I took them out shortly before his birthday, I was shocked to find the metal had badly discoloured/tarnished despite never being worn. Given Baltic Beauty’s emphasis on sterling silver and quality jewellery, I found the deterioration extremely concerning.

I contacted them with photographs. They acknowledged the cufflinks had never been worn but initially claimed they were outside their 30-day window. As an “exception”, they offered a £69 voucher and specifically said I did not need to return the cufflinks.

After I challenged their position regarding faulty goods, they agreed to refund me, but suddenly made this conditional upon returning both the cufflinks AND complimentary earrings supplied with my order.

Those earrings are clearly listed on my order as “Free With Any Order” at £0.00 and I had already been wearing them. I obviously had no reason to keep a free promotional gift unworn in case an entirely different £69 product deteriorated weeks later.

When I questioned this, the customer service became increasingly curt, hostile and dismissive. My questions were repeatedly ignored and the eventual response was simply:

“Please return both items for a refund. This is our policy.”

Even when I tried to resolve matters by asking to revert to their original £69 voucher offer, I received essentially the same response rather than any meaningful attempt to resolve the complaint.

The deterioration of an expensive, completely unworn product was disappointing enough. The way I was treated after raising a legitimate complaint was worse.

I have now reported my concerns to Trading Standards and retained the photographs, order confirmation and complete correspondence.

I would not purchase from Baltic Beauty again. If you’re buying jewellery from them in advance as a gift, please be extremely cautious. Check it thoroughly, retain everything that arrives with your order, and be aware of the customer service you may encounter if something goes wrong.
I’d give less than one star. I cannot recommend them.

The pearl fell off the ring the first time I wore it. Very poor quality.

I bought 4 pieces of amber jewellery, sadly I had to return 2 , a bracelet and a necklace for the same reason: clasps were too small and therefore difficult to operate. Two remaining jewellery, a pair of earrings and a ring looks beautiful and I am wearing them with a joy

However, I decided to leave the review mainly to highlight the input Chloe from customer service. She has been a real pleasure to communicate with regarding returning the jewel which is a rare quality nowadays. She made it easy, prompt and painless.

The necklace is absolutely beautiful. It is a statement piece. I am very pleased with it. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is the connection clasps are tiny and really hard for my arthritic hands to use. I have managed to add a magnetic clasp and this has solved problem, but could do with bigger clasps.
