Charged double due to website glitch
I am extremely disappointed with this company who have refused to refund me after a glitch on their website charged me double.
Firstly, I spent 2 hours trying to personalize an item after the images kept jumping around. I would have left it there and then but the item was advertised as good quality and in comparison to other sites, the item was exactly what I wanted. I'm used to editing and spend most of my time on the screen.
After getting an actual headache doing this, I went through the processes of paying. I got to the end and paid, however it erased everything and took me right back to the homepage. I was absolutely baffled and exhausted, having to go through the design and payment process all over again.
I submitted a complaint a few days later, I'm unsure of what date because I went through the website and I can't find a receipt or they didn't send one.
After receiving no reply I decided to ring. The operative was civil and listened. She told me that she would *try* to get a refund but because two orders had gone through that it was basically unlikely. There was no real acknowledgement of the glitch, she didn't ask how it happened or for further details.
Personally speaking as an operative it's their responsibility to make a full investigation, because if this is happening to other customers as well due to site issues, that would be unfair. I found it concerning that she showed no concern at all? The main focus was the money but I knew by the way she said "I can *try* to get you a refund that it was mute.
On 19/7 I then got a short blanket email informing me of no refund but an offer of 20% the next order with them.
I certainly wouldn't be spending .....more money with them? Not sure why they'd think that. I was really disappointed but not surprised.
I feel like an apology and refund is the solution here, and an investigation over why the website did this, as it was not my fault, and it's very upsetting to have hard earned money taken from you.

Ordered a custom towel at the beginning of the week and it arrived by the end of the week. The contact/updates from the company were excellent and the quality of the product is amazing. Thoroughly recommend and have already pointed others in this direction. Would happily order more items.

Sepia Tone print
I’ve just received my order (3194752) and I’m extremely disappointed. The colours are nothing like what was shown online — instead of being bright and white, the print is dull and looks like it has a sepia tone filter over it. It’s completely different from what was advertised.
For the high price I paid, I expected much better quality. The final product looks cheap and poorly printed, and I honestly feel misled. I won’t be ordering again and wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience.
Brilliant service and high-quality products
I'm really pleased with the custom tea towels I ordered. I phoned the team twice for advice while ordering, and they even contacted me about something I hadn't thought of. They seemed to really care about how the product turned out.and it turned out really well!
OUTRAGIOUS SCAM!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
I ordered two hoodies and a T-shirt for my workplace, and what we received was completely unacceptable. The T-shirt arrived stained with what looks like black shoe polish, and both hoodies were discoloured with strange dye marks, white blotches, and streaks throughout. We spent nearly £190 on items that are entirely unusable.
The products we received look nothing like the images advertised on their website – a complete misrepresentation and, frankly, a scam. Customer service offered a mere 25% refund, which is insulting given the condition of the items. Since providing photographic evidence (including comparison images from their own website), they’ve stopped responding altogether and have even blocked me on their chat.
What’s most disappointing is that I had previously ordered from this company and had a positive experience, which makes this all the more shocking. Sadly, it seems their quality and service have gone completely downhill. I wouldn’t be surprised if they go bust if this continues. Steer well clear – absolutely disgraceful.
First time purchase - impressed with the quality
First time using Bags of Love - ordered two personalised T shirts and a tea towel. I thought their prices were on the high side, but then the products arrived (very quickly) and the quality is superb. I ordered a personalised T shirt from a different company before which was cheaper but the material was itchy and cheap. The T-shirts from Bags of Love are super comfortable. Very impressed with the company, thanks.

I bought 3 x Print then Make T-Shirts with different designs - I knew some of my images were low res and small white text on black background - I expected the text to fill in a bit as it wasnt sharp to start with - but the print quality was exceptional and the text remained readable. - WOW!
I was involved in litho printing for nearly 20 years and always accepted that print on fabric was nowhere near the level of quality you could achieve on paper - colours on fabric used to appear faded and the resolution due I guess to "bleed" made small text difficult to read - But . . . It seems those issue are a thing of the past and the print quality on fabric BagsOfLove have achieved would make a litho press envious.
On top of that the quality of the fabric and neatness of the stitching make these t-shirts feel top quality. They were only bought for a laugh - a few fun gifts - but now I must design some garments for myself!
Even the turnaround speed was excellent I - mentioned that date I needed them by which I considered to be a tight deadline for such a customised product (and 3 of them) but they arrived earlier than expected.
What can I say? Impressed with the print quality, impressed with the Garment quality and impressed with the service!
It would be hard to offer any suggested improvements but . . . I wish they had included a handful of business cards or flyers in the delivery for me to hand out as I know anyone who sees these t-shirts are going to ask where I got them. But no worries I will be happy to point them to BagsOfLove!!!

Amazing Quality Personalised Stainless Steel Water Bottle
Purchased a personalised Stainless Steel water bottle for my wife. She is absolutelty made up with it, the quality of the print is exceptional as is the quality of the bottle itself. I searched high and low for the "right" bottle and design combination and bags of love really pulled it out the bag. Kudos to you, i'll be back for more in the future for sure.

Highly impressed with this website/store and I would recommend to anyone looking to print a custom design allover print shirt/clothing. Less than 24 hours after I submitted my order, they got back to me with an edit (reduced and centered the image used on the front and back of shirt) which I felt was the perfect finishing touch to the design, it was tasteful, they clearly have people with a good eye in charge of the editing process. The site/ editing tools were user friendly, even on a mobile device! After submitting the final edit, the entire process of them printing, cutting and sewing the shirt, shipping the shirt and it being delivered was only 4 days and that was even with the cheaper shipping option. The final product is exactly what I had hoped for, the quality has surpassed my expectations. This is my second time using a custom clothing design website and it beats the other site I've used (artscow) in every way albeit slightly more expensive, however worth it. 5*

The quality of their products is great. Through the years we have ordered hundreds of customized printed playmats and so far we did not have to replace one single product. Furthermore the kindness and swiftness of their service is great, even during the shipment and untill the delivery of the product at our site. Simply amazing!

Fantastic customer service. I am very grateful too. My beautiful Dalmatiian Marley died and their customer service and very high standards of workmanship ensures he lives on with their super quality printing. Delivery via Royal Mail faultless and the speed teriffic. So many thanks and this order was really important to me.

Required 2 x 15" custom printed laptop bags.
Received 2 X hmm 13" printed laptop bags.
If the company did their research which they obviously didn't, you can't put a laptop with a 15" screen into a bag that would only fit the screen and nothing else IE the keyboard, the panel, the surrounding surfaces etc. The neoprene equivalents and any bigger laptop rucksack case companies you can buy a plain rucksack case, they will state that it'll fit a 15" laptop so order it, put your laptop in and it fits.
So yea bags of love didn't get this right. It's like they ordered X amount of 13", X amount of 15" and X amount of 17" but incorrectly labelled them so pulls them off printed, send out and see who complains. Their customer service response was "Nobody else complained and we sold loads". Ya know how far away I was from calling BS. If you went with customer ignorance, yea you can get the laptop in but it won't zip up. The neoprene guys, you can get your laptop in, the cables in, the mouse in AND IT ZIPS UP.
So the website needs correcting.
Their customer service is sub-standard for
A. They take far too long to rectify....send an email, they reply with an I'm sorry email, then a letter me ask the boss email then they want to argue email then they want a size email. This took them circa 14 days, it took them 8 days to send out the item in the first place. They should have asked as to what the model laptop it was, check the manufacturer website and it'll tell you the type. Anyway this leads to B.
B. After waiting 14 days and still no progression. The company needed a kick up the rear. They obviously want things to go right and the bads just to go away. If you want repeat customers then bags of love need to deal with that complaints quicker. Get it right, get a repeat service. I would have bookmarked the company for as a repeat go to, but I'm sure they'll be a better company not too far away even if the Chinese lot do better or go to America and get better. Their customer service is much better, swift. The company does not like it when you want your money back which is a testament to their attitude of 'we've done it, you got it, put up with it" attitude. If I went to a shop and purchased a wardrobe, I get home and the doors had holes in them then I'd be sending it back and getting a refund. Bags of love is rather a third world company attitude. So their attitude for when requiring a refund was "We're not going to replace your item until you stop requesting a refund"
My response in a nice way equated to "You'll do as you're told."
I didn't put the order in, come to your warehouse, operated your equipment, went home, then complain. I ordered, I trusted the company to do it correctly and they did it incorrectly.
So after giving them a kick in wanting a refund. They recreated the order and it has been sitting in 'Pressing' for a long while. If their customer service was operated correctly, I would have received a replacement laptop bag at least 16 days after the original order placement. In this case, it's four weeks is near enough on the way and going past.
Lastly C,
So the same day I escalated the order, then they sent out the replacement, what irony eh?
The replacement comes in and it looks like they used the same 15" image submitted onto the correct bag meaning there is a border and doesn't fill up to the ends of the bag.
I would say give this company simple orders first, don't bother with chaotic ones because they've not done research.
From a customer service point of view, what they should have done is provided a voucher, asked me to recreate the order on a bigger sized bag, put the image on myself and I'll submit it with the voucher code and that gets me a free bag to my altered specifications. Bearing in mind that I supplied the image so if I have to make the image bigger, it may go blurry therefore I'd rather have the option of finding a better image or resizing the original one. Then I would have limited the likelihood for a second mistake.
Since the receivership of a second not so bad production, a cancellation of the refund case and an email to say what was received. Not even a sorry or another goodwill voucher....ZERO. Mostly a let's do this, drag out rears crying, thank god you don't want anything, bye bye.

Excellent customer service over a concern. Very grateful. The mugs were lovely.I put in two orders, the mug came out beautifully and one canvas print for my friend also came out well. As this was my first order I found the website quite difficult to navigate.
