Why do they label it bags.CO.UK?

Its intentionally misleading.

I initially had concerns after reading some reviews about slow delivery times, but my order arrived exactly one week after I placed it. While the tracking number didn’t update for a few days, everything worked out perfectly in the end. The price was unbeatable, and the quality matched my expectations.
If you’re not in a rush and are willing to wait 1-2 weeks, this Germany-based retailer is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for budget-conscious shoppers!

Avoid this shop. I ordered a Samsonite Magnum Eco 75cm suitcase, but they cancelled it under the false pretence of "out of stock" and "invalid shipping info." To make matters worse, the exact same item was still actively available to purchase on their website after the cancellation.

Furthermore, consumers should note that despite using a Bags.co.uk domain name, this company is actually based in Germany and all items are shipped from Germany, NOT the United Kingdom. This causes major transparency issues.
Had Togo through PayPal for a full refund.

This company doesn't even deserve one star. Firstly they have a UK web address but are based in Germany. I ordered a bag from them. It did not resemble the picture on the website and I decided to return it. I followed the return instructions to the letter, even paying for the postage. Two months later the bag arrived back on my doorstep (13th July 2026). The return had not been picked up from postal address on the website. The address seems to belong to a prosthetics company.
I wish I had read reviews on this comapny before placing an order with them.

This website promises delivery in the UK in 3 - 5 days. My delivery took longer, so I missed it ahead of a planned trip. I emailed customer service, and responses were very slow, and responses came across as if they “don’t care “.
I was informed that delays were due to the product shipping from Germany. But this has nothing to do with the fact promised delivery timeframes were not met, and nothing expected from a co.uk website.
I would NOT recommend this site, “the luggage superstore “ is much better.

Said next day delivery but order confirmation said 7 days. Tried to cancel order. No-one answers phone, one one responds to emails. Tried to cancel again and did speak to someone but they said it was too late to stop the order. Even after it arrived they did not respond AT ALL to emails or calls. The product eventually went back and despite the product being with them for 3 weeks I still have no refund. I even went as far as to complain to Samsonite - who disappointingly said because they were a German retailer that they could not do anything. HORRENDOUS experience. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!

Awful experience. Bags.co.uk masquerades as a UK business, but they are based in Germany.
Following their complex instructions, I paid to return a £227 bag to Germany. Despite tracking proving delivery was attempted and failed, and the courier was trying to get in touch with them, they blamed me, claimed the package was stuck in customs and I had messed up the return. They then stopped replying to my messages. I have lost £227 plus return postage.

Brexit has made buying from Europe risky, and I never would have purchased from them had they been transparent about being based in Germany. Avoid.

The product arrived late and with a broken zip. Arranging a return has been extremely frustrating. Customer service is slow to respond, and despite the entire email thread being in English, some replies have been in German.

They are also currently refusing to cover the return postage costs, even though the item is faulty. Although the website uses a .co.uk address, the company is actually based in Germany, making return shipping expensive.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY - very poor aftersales
I received a damaged suitcase delivered by DHL. I was instructed by Bags to contact DHL directly by taking the package to them and filing a damage report.
DHL does not allow the consumers to file a damage reports - this must come from the sender.
This is a disgracefully poor service and theft. I wont purchase from this company ever again and I urge anyone reading this to source your suitcase elsewhere - try a British company or local retailer if possible
We are constantly being held ransom by foreign companies taking advantage of British consumers

On the face of it bags.co.uk offer premium products at great prices. However, there is a catch, the overall service and customer experience is dreadful.
The first thing to note is that they are not a UK company despite the ".co.uk" in the name, they are in fact based in Germany. Not an issue in itself, however, please be aware that this does impact deliver timelines due to international shipping and customs. The main issue is that they are just unresponsive, don’t answer the phone or respond to emails.
I ordered and paid for three samsonite suitcases on what looked like a good deal, however after waiting a week for delivery, only two arrived. I contacted the carrier DHL and they confirmed that only two items were shipped with them, I then emailed bags.co.uk to outline the issue and get clarification re when the other suitcase would be delivered, no response!. It was Friday afternoon, so I gave the benefit of the doubt. I then mailed again on Monday morning, again no response, tried to call on Monday afternoon, was answered by an automated voice service in German which I couldn’t decipher, so mailed again. Tried to call again on Tuesday Morning, now answer so mailed again, still no response.
At best the name bags.co.uk is misleading at worst it is deceitful. Please avoid as whilst the prices seem attractive there is no guarantee they will send what you pay for and you wont be able to do a thing about it unless you are willing to travel to Germany.

Very Poor- Avoid - after sending three emails highlighting the item received was not as advertised and described on their website, I have still yet to receive a reply. Order ***7085

2. Support is dead, no answers
3. No live chat!

I have been using online shopping for many years without any problems whatsoever. Additionally I have only given poor reviews very, very rarely. However in the last 2 weeks this has changed. The first one related to a site only based in China, where the postage costs was more than the item to be returned.
This review relates to bags.co.uk (Germany NOT UK). Yes, I have been stiched up twice in 2 weeks by both ⁷the Germans and the Chinese!!
The order for bags.co.uk was £129.90. The return instructions were followed to the letter and cost £19.45 by Royal Mail international tracked. All that has happened is after 12 days the package was returned and it was unopened .
I read an article in a newspaper that my experience of companies pretending to be UK based is now becoming more common. You have been warned!! If the Chinese don't get you, the Germans will!! I can only suggest that you check very carefully where the company is based and pay particular attention to their returns section before purchasing. Good luck!!

Do not buy from here! Not a UK based company as the name would suggest. The hiking carrier that arrived was not what was in the pictures. I am now due a refund of £270 but they have not replied to 5 of my emails chasing an update. I will be claiming back via my bank. The worst online experience I’ve ever had

Having read reviews here I was very nervous after placing an order with this company for a shopping trolley. The website name suggested it was an English company but then I realised it was in Germany and panicked about import duty, VAT etc. I didnt get a confirmation email and I thought I might have been scammed. In fact, the trolley came quickly, there was no hassle with import issues and it turned out to be good value for money - robust and better made than many I'd viewed. I do think the business needs to change its name and to be more communicative with customers eg confirmation of order and expected delivery date. But I honestly can't complain about the price, quality or delivery time of what I bought.

Suitcase was ordered on 7 May, and the website clearly stated it would be shipped the next day. I even emailed customer support to follow up, but received no reply at all.

Today, I checked the website again and found that my order had been cancelled without any email notification, explanation, or follow-up. Very disappointing customer service and poor communication, especially for an urgent order.

Wish I could give only a half star. My Order number 2650149, placed at the end of March/early April was for a 65 Litre Vaude duffel roller.

My first use of this bag was a one week trip to Italy and the handling procedures via Manchester & Pisa left a trail of destruction on the bag. The "metal" grab handle at the base of the bag showed a dent and the black coating had been removed on the trailing edge. A soft alloy that was clearly not fit for purpose.

More disturbing was a series of deep scratches on one corner and the upper surface of the bag, which has completely destroyed the appearance. This bag cost £180 🤬

My complaint is two fold: customers should absolutely avoid this brand, Vaude, as the materials of construction simply do not fit the purpose. Secondly, Bags.co.uk simply replied by saying that "such damage is not covered under the warranty". These people will not help you replace faulty goods so, again, find another luggage supplier - Bags.co.uk do not have the customer at the centre of its business.

Ordered two bags.
Was told they were despatched.
Tracking link didn't work.
Goods never arrived.
Didn't answer emails.
Refunded as paid via Amazon Pay.
Avoid.

I bought a samsonite suitcase on 20/04/2026
I read on their website delivery day was 3-5 walking days, my trip is on 29/04, soon after placing the order I received a confirmation email with no delivery date, I didn’t know Bags.co.uk is not based in Uk but in Germany, I read all the bad reviews I panicked and on the same day I emailed them to say please cancel my order because off the bad reviews on here, they didn’t answer until the next day in the morning and they said that my order was shipped and sent tracking number, which didn’t work over there, I decided to give it 5 days if not arrived within the next 5 days to go to buy a other one, because of all the bad reviews. Then after 4 days I received a email from DHL with the the same tracking number that Bags.co.uk provided on 20.04 saying that they have received my order and 5 days after DHL delivered my order I couldn’t believe it and was so pleased with it. PLEASE DONT TRUST ALL THE BAD REVIEWS IN HERE
