This program has been phenomenal! It takes time and dedication but the results are worth it. When I got frustrated at my slow progress in the beginning I reached out and the team really encouraged me to continue on and after that is when I saw a huge improvement. I cannot credit this program enough... Bare with me to share some back story.
I'm a strong late 30s male. Been dealing with chronic pain for 2 years. 2 herniated discs in lower back brought me to ER in excruciating pain. I have disc herniations in my neck too from years ago but this was a nasty version I was experiencing in my back. I never thought that I would leave the hospital in the condition I felt that day, even with a series of pain meds in my system. I was reliant on a walker for 1 month and gave myself blisters on my hands from constantly supporting my body when using the walker. PT helped a lot but only got me so far and I was not able to sit for too long or walk for more than 1/4 mile before exponential pain. Surgeon said I need more nerve symptoms before considering surgery. Got 3 epidural shots and that brought me to 90% and I was happy during that time but it only lasted so long before effects wore off. Then I felt stuck, consulted with 2 neurologist, 2 PT programs, and several Drs on next steps. I was going to the gym 3x a week doing only light duty core strength exercises during my 3rd shot and relief seemed to last longer but alas had a moment that decommissioned my ability to move. Got another MRI and saw neurologist and was told to get more shots and PT and that imaging looked "good". Did research on alternative methods from stem cell injections and a less invasive newer procedure called DiscSeal. Neither were developed enough to feel those were the right approaches. That is when I saw a FB ad from Nate on this program and was willing to try anything. I literally approached it with such optimism even though my gut (and others in my ear) were saying this won't work. But it was just time and a fraction of money to waste because nothing in this program suggested to do something that would induce more pain or cause a setback. I learned mental approaches that challenged my prior conceptions but they were backed by logic and reasonable analogies. It was coupled with PT exercises that definitely supercharged my progress. In my case, progress was slow (several months) but consistently increasing. I am now feeling 95% and am confident I can reach greater results with more time and physical exercise. And equally as important, I no longer feel like I am handicapped into living and planning my life because back pain can very drastically take over your life.
I am not getting anything for sharing this review. The medical journey I had never mentioned the possiblity that my chronic back pain might not be cause by physical damage in my spine. I don't expect this program to work for everyone as each person's conditions are all unique. But I STRONGLY recommend trying this program, and mentally commit to it for x amount of time, if you are dealing with chronic back pain.

The app is very smooth and easy to navigate. I’m really impressed with the app and have tried multiple other back programs—this one has definitely been the best experience. The service is great, and the team really makes you feel heard and not alone. Back pain is pretty scary to go through and often feels like you are helpless, hopeless and not sure what to do next, but this program has instilled confidence and hope in me again. I’m roughly 2 weeks in and trending in the right direction. This is going to be a long process but I feel confident that with the guidance of this plan, I’ll finally get out of pain.

This program is life changing! Dr. Nate explains everything very clearly in an easy to follow format. His program is backed by his expertise in neuroscience, physical therapy, and his own personal experience with back pain. My pain completely went away after only 2 months in the program by following the exercise plan and watching the lessons. Give this program a chance and be prepared to learn about pain in a whole new lens.

I can't say enough about how amazing this program is! I appreciate the simplicity! It has been the only thing that has helped me understand my pain in 3 years. The microprogressions make so much sense. I am learning how to move my back in the five main movements: flexion, extension, side bending, twising, and hinging. The restore level, where you practice these microprogressions, translate into my everyday life. Thank you Nate!
Back Unbroken is an excellent program that gave me a really good understanding of the root causes of my pain and taught me strategies and basic tools that have helped me manage and understand the pain much better. I am still not out of pain, but thanks to Nate’s program I have multiple back to back days with 0 symptoms. When things flare up, I know how to manage it and keep making progress. I’m only two weeks in and it has already helped a ton. Looking forward to totally eliminating this nagging injury.
I am so grateful for this program! Prior to starting this Back Unbroken I was stuck in a cycle of constant fear of when I was going to get my next flare up of lower back pain and I was scared to do activities I love such as running and soccer. Not only did the program help me strengthen my lower back through exercises, it also helped me get stop worrying so much about my low back pain which has been a game changer. I'm currently still working through the higher level exercises and back to running 3 miles a few times a week. I look forward to progressing even more and eventually playing soccer and tennis very soon!

This program is phenomenal! I’m so grateful that I took the “chance” of giving this program a try. Due to a car accident I have lost a ton of mobility and experience a lot of pain due to fractures and herniated discs in my thoracic and lumbar spine. The education piece of this program alone I feel has helped me significantly because I now think differently and as I experience different situations that cause discomfort and or pain I respond completely different to it and it’s aiding in my healing. I love how the exercise components are broken down into the simplest and basic variations of movements and then you can build on them from there. If you’re someone considering this as a means to help your back issues, I’d definitely recommend. I just wish I knew about this program months ago… I know for sure I’d be much better by now.

I'm only 3-4 weeks in and I'm extremely encouraged by my results so far. I was skeptical with so much of the focus on neurological rewiring. I thought, I know what's wrong with me mechanically and that's what's causing the pain. In fact, anytime I went to a new specialist I would happily tell them all about the mechanical issues causing my pain. But I kept enough of an open mind to give it a fair shot.
As soon as I began to grasp some of the concepts, instant shift. I began to move easier and my pain levels went down.
8 years of back pain. $5K+ and several specialists. Modifying a car seat to make it work for me. I've literally tried it all, and have become extremely educated on the topic. But what's made the biggest difference after everything is understanding the neuroscience behind it and helping my nervous system relax.
Still ongoing and results aren't conclusive yet, but I'm very grateful I found this course and would definitely recommend it. Just keep an open mind.

I developed back pain seemingly for no reason. No one could figure out what was going on. After several expensive and painful months of no progress, Back Unbroken popped up on my feed and I decided to give it a shot.
If you want to get past your pain, you have to understand it and Nate’s educational content does just that.
After completing the program, I followed up with a 1-1 video call to help with some specifics to my case and found that to be extremely helpful as well.
If you’re tired of the pain and the stress that comes with it, I definitely recommend giving back unbroken a shot.
Great new perspective for tackling back pain. After a decade of back pain, this is finally making a difference
I’m only 7 days through this course and after years of back pain, I already feel so much better. I found so much similarity in what is described in this course and what I feel, so I had to give it a shot. If like me, you’ve also been searching for a solution for years, I urge you to atleast start the free trial and see if you like it.
To give some context, I had lower back pain and SI joint pain for the last 5ish years. It started around covid and just got worse and worse over time. I tried chiro, pt, injections, etc (even got into some weird diets and herbal potions lol) And to be fair, some of those things did help, but I was never able to get back into running or really feel like I had control over my pain. It was just always kind of there and slowly eating away at me, physically and mentally.
Anyway, I ended up coming across a few ads on Instagram and thought it might as well be worth a shot. I went through the free trial and was really taken back by how thorough and thoughtful it was. Nate is very relatable with his story and the way he teaches his lessons. He was also very quick to respond to my messages when I had questions. But the way he explained his approach to back pain was so unique yet so simple to understand. It just made so much sense to me.
I ended up going through the rest of the program for a little over 2 months and I am now in a MUCH better place than I was when I started. My pain is almost non-existent at this point and I feel so much stronger and more confident in my back. And I am back to running!! Still taking things slow, but I am back to my regular jogging and exercise routine thanks to Nate and his Backunbroken program.
Hi all, I tried this program after having on an off back pain for years. I'm a young, active woman and having chronic pain has been so discouraging. I've been given consistent exercises from physios in the past and none of them have actually fixed the problem. I really recommend giving the backunbroken program a try if you can. It's so well structured, with easy videos showing you how to progress through the movements. Nate takes such a unique and modern approach to back pain that's geared towards getting you back into what you love doing. I've had many physios and doctors tell me I should avoid things, or adjust my movements, but this program is about desensitizing your back and nervous system so that you're not living in fear or restriction. It's brought me so much confidence and is helping me through a current flare up! Am already feeling much better and am getting back into the the activities I love doing like biking. Nate is great because he walks you through your symptoms and helps you cancel out any serious stuff, so you can feel confident going forward. I love how Nate combines the neuroplastic evidence with physio, and has you understanding how that factors into your pain. Honestly I would highly recommend if you're feeling lost and let down without any answers! For the first time I'm feeling confident that I can overcome this and I have a well structured guide on how to do just that.

I’ve tried everything: PT, Chiro, Acupuncture, other online programs, and even considered surgery. Dr Nate is the real deal and the program is legit. I’d highly recommend Nate and the Back Unbroken program!
Hello everyone. I have been experiencing significant back, hip and SI joint pain since I herniated two lower lumbar discs in December of 2022. The pain was restricting, confining, and impeding my everyday life. None of my previous PT sessions and other therapies had helped. I had started to think that either the pain would be a constant part of my life, or a spinal fusion was the only option. Prior to surgery, I decided to give Nate’s program a try and I’m glad I did. After only 3 months I would say my pain is probably 70% better. Nate has been very responsive and accommodating. He has answered all of my questions and he has tailored my program specifically to my needs and capabilities. If you are experiencing back pain and other therapies have not been able to help, I would definitely recommend trying Nate’s program before you jump to anything invasive. Thanks Nate!
I can't recommend BackUnbroken enough! I spent 5 years between 5-7 out of 10 on the pain scale every day. After a few months of work with Nate, I'm now able to live my life and work out almost without worrying about my back at all.
When I came across Nate's video on facebook in early 2024, I had been dealing with agonizing chronic back pain for 5 years straight. I was an active, 38 yr-old pilot (whose job requires me to sit for long periods). I had been doing some form of daily mobility routine for years, along with weekly chiropractic visits, dry needling, random PT exercises I'd seen on IG, etc., but nothing gave me meaningful relief. I wasn't ever able to sit down and relax, which affected the quality of life for my family and me in ways I wasn't even aware of.
The Back Unbroken program did 3 important things for me:
1. It educated me on the complexities of the nervous system and how we experience pain. By increasing my understanding of my pain, it helped me frame it in a way that empowered me to do something about it.
2. It gave me a roadmap and a convenient, app-based daily workout/movement routine that both motivated me to actually do the work, but also prevented me from overdoing it once I got to the gym. By guiding me through a proven progression over time, the program allowed time for my body to adapt and reprogram the pain triggers.
3. It kept my motivation up and avoided the usual lull of other programs after a couple of weeks through weekly video chat meetings with Nate. We met to review my progress and make adjustments, ensuring that I was able to achieve my fitness and movement goals. Because of his years of working exclusively with back pain patients, he was able to give me super helpful insights every time we met, which really enhanced the effectiveness of the program.
I can now work out and play with my kids without worrying about my back. I can sit in a chair for longer than 30 minutes without ruining my week. I can sleep through the night without getting up to take pain meds. Thanks Nate!

What is very apparent from the moment you hear Dr Nate speak, is that he has been through it — the pain and suffering. He has a way of describing the problems and how our nervous systems work that restore faith in the body’s innate ability to heal. I couldn’t walk for nearly two months with full blown sciatica, a herniated disc and widespread inflammation, now fully healed.
