Pretty terrible! I ordered a pair of Gisella Orthopedic Walking Shoes from the Aura-Straya website, thinking they’d be ideal for walking on the treadmill. I was also of the belief that Aura-Straya was an Australian company, which sold Australian-made products: now I find this is untrue. My order took 14 days to arrive (not the “shipped out in 24 hours” as described) - AND I wasn’t able to track my order successfully in that time, as the tracking number given wasn’t recognised (what the…???). These shoes are such a disappointment: they look nothing like the online photo, are flimsy, and do NOT provide “exceptional arch support” or “cushioned comfort”! I know this because I tried them for 30 minutes on the treadmill, and had to take them off as they were causing pain in the soles of my feet and in my calves. Definitely not orthopedic; definitely not comfortable or supportive. The fit was also too snug (despite having measured my foot length for the right size as outlined on the website, and adding a few centimetres extra to allow ample room). I’ll TRY to send them back and get a refund but, having read other reviews now, I don’t fancy my chances. Important lesson: READ THE REVIEWS FIRST before you decide to buy anything from this Company. What a rip-off.

Absolute scammers they are not in Australia as they want you to think, it’s another Chinese scam .
Product is very poor and response is robotic. They offer refund to ship back then you find out it’s $50 to ship back. Then they offer 70% credit and never follow through.

This company is a nightmare. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE NOT AN AUSTRALIAN COMPANY, BUT CHINESE. I ordered orhtopaedic boots in size 12. When they arrived they were 3cm shorter than my husband's size 11-1/2 and definitely not orthopaedic.. I wanted to return them but the company wanted me to pay to return them to CHINA and when they were received in China I would receive a refund. After weeks of receiving exactly the same reply to my emails asking me to pay for return of item, I decided to take it to Paypal. Less than a week later I received a full refund from Paypal when they found in my favour.

Scam boots are cheap and nasty and did not fit nor are they orthopaedic. Trying to return is a nightmare hundreds of emails trying to make me offers so I keep a pair of boots that are no good to me. STAY AWAy

I ordered a pair of shoes and within the hour sent an email requesting to cancel the order as I’d made a mistake.
They responded the next day with this message so I responded to it .

I have since sent emails with the below text

I have responded to this email at least 4 times. I sent the request to cancel the same day as it was ordered 8/6. I responded to your email 9/6 explaining why I needed to cancel
You said you would process the cancellation but I keep getting notifications saying that you are shipping them and now have shipped them
Please stop this order and refund my money as you said it you would.

I have heard absolutely nothing back from this company and what’s more in my emails under “sent “there are no confirmations saying I’ve sent any emails to them 😡

SCAM SITE.

Claimed handmade shoes....they were cheap plastic. Photos and description did not at all match and are incredible misleading.

Pants were also cheap and I'll fitting!

This place is not real , it's not in Australia the products a cheap joke , do not buy from the , there is another 4 or 5 shops that claim they are Australian boutique selling the same stuff . Complete scammers. Do not buy from them if you do you are throwing your money away

They go by several differnet business names, but all the same poor quality products from China. Returns are at customers own cost, and many reviews say they don't even except the parcels back, so not even worth the cost of shipping the items back. FRAUD!

Do not buy from this company. It’s all false advertising. They advertise orthodic shoes and they are cheap and offer no support to the feet. Their return process is complicated even though they offer 30 day full refund.

Two pairs of shoes were cheaply made, the smell of petrol as soon as you opened the bag was super strong and I’m still waiting on refund.

I ordered a dress for a Wedding took ages and when arrived the dress was cheap and did not look like the pictures. I also did all measurements and it did not fit. The refund was not a great experience either. Full refund not encouraged because of shipping internationally costs.

70% store credit and you can keep the product. (Not wanting to order from the low grade stack again)
30% refund and you can keep the product.
100% refund, but you will need to return the goods to our overseas warehouse at your own cost.

Think twice!!

This is a scam website. They claim to be ‘Australian made’ but they ship goods directly from a Chinese warehouse. I purchased ‘orthopaedic sandals’ but they were not at all what was advertised. I asked for a refund and they have requested that the goods be returned at own expense and ‘assessed’. Steer clear!

Do not order shoes from this company they are not what they are advertised as. Very cheap knock off shoes which is a shame because if they made them with decent material and didnt just glue everything on they would probably get repeat orders. They look nice but I wouldn't pay more than $20 bucks for them. They come from China after about 2 weeks.

Only gave 1 star because you can’t give none! Like every other review here - cheap Chinese products from China pretending to be an Australian based company. Appalling ‘returns’ process. I purchased what was claimed to be orthopaedic boots. They arrived reeking of chemicals, 2 sizes too small despite my ordering a size up as suggested, and with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING remotely resembling an orthopaedic shoe. I refused to send them back to China for refund. They offered to send me another pair of boots in exchange in a larger size and I could keep the awful pair they’d sent. But after many emails asking for tracking of the exchange, and no action, I gave up. I lodged a claim through PayPal as that’s how I’d paid. I had copies of all my email exchanges with them and their promise to send me a new pair of boots, which never occurred. They came back with a very lame response which I disputed. 2 days later, PayPal found in favour of my claim and I was refunded. So IF you get sucked in by this sham company as I did, and pay via PayPal, lodge a claim for refund!

I bought a genuine leather tote bag for my sister's birthday gift thst arrived today
So disappointed, none of it is leather it's a fake plastic look alike leather with a bad toxic smell
The insert is also terrible , plastic nylon and increadibly cheap

Im too embarrassed to give it to my sister ,which leaves me at a loss

False advertising disgusting

Should have looked at this before I purchased. Their write $80 runners are so cheap and they really drag out the return method and offer another product in place if you pay the shipping. They are really bad. I suggest your do not buy from this company.

If I could give a 0 I would. If you want to return - you cannot.

I paid $70 dollars for some Sandals and needed to return them because the quality is horrible. Here are your "options" for return:

"70% store credit and you can keep the product.
30% refund and you can keep the product.
100% refund, but you will need to return the goods to our overseas warehouse at your own cost.
Once we receive and inspect the items, we will process the refund."

Obviously these all suck, so I chose to return them with tracking on 31st January 2025. It is now 9th April 2025 and and they have been stuck at customs in China - awaiting import payment by the recipient. Which they refuse to pay as informed me I must pay, (even though I've been informed by AusPost that I can't pay it).

The Support person at Aura Straya say that when they receive them they will facilitate a refund... so I guess I will never receive a refund then. Scammers.

Just an update on my sandals that I paid $70 dollars for and returned....I returned them with tracking and since 4th Feb they have been stuck in customs in China where I was forced to return them.. The correspondence from them is that when they receive them they will facilitate a refund ....can't see that happening....nothing I can do ..please do not buy from this scamming company..
