Audley Villages develop and operate award-winning luxury retirement villages in the UK. A homeowner purchases a beautiful retirement home (one, two and three bedroom apartments and cottages available) in a beautiful and secure environment, with exceptional facilities like a health club, restaurant and library at the heart of the village. Properties and village grounds are maintained by Audley and homeowners are free to sell their property at any stage, on the open market. A monthly management fee and deferred management charge apply to the sale of all properties. Full details are available on the website and in person from the village team. If you do not own a property at an Audley village and wish to leave a restaurant or club review, please submit a review for the particular venue on Google.

Choices for dinner were good and food…
Choices for dinner were good and food was excellent. Bar shut at 8 which I thought was a little early. Overnight stay was comfortable but missing a hair dryer and curtains in the bedroom, and extractor fan in the bathroom.

Beautiful setting and grounds. All employees were welcoming and friendly. Buildings, fixtures and finishes are pristine and high quality.

Relaxed and Informative
Overall pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere and thorough visit with questions answered plainly and clearly. Main building was impressive and tastefully renovated. This was not a hard sell, it was an informative and helpful tour and discussion and much appreciated as such.

A very warm welcome and a very helpful explanation of the whole process of acquiring a property and of all the activities available. I was impressed by the garden, the bistro, the library, swimming pool etc. it had a very nice atmosphere.

Formal and informal impressions
The possibility of staying the night which meant getting a more realistic impression. The chance to talk to some of the owners on an informal basis - whilst walking around and seeing an activity take place as well as a comprehensive formal tour and 2 viewings

Kym showed us around including the show apartment and a cottage. She was very helpful. We were very impressed with the facilities but realised Scarcroft was too different and far away from our comfort zone of north west Leeds

I arranged the visit for a friend
I arranged the visit for a friend who is in the early stages of downsizing. He explained he is looking at the options and a retirement village is an interesting concept.
Jenni was very good, patient and informative. She showed us round the site and we looked at two vacant properties. She explained the costs and the services that can be used.
We were very impressed with the village and the facilities available.
He will be exploring other possibilities but has taken the first step of arranging for the valuation of his current house.
