I bought a plug-in hybrid Audi Q5 expecting cutting-edge technology and a commitment to sustainability. Instead, I got a very expensive gas-powered SUV with a useless charging port—because thanks to a recall, Audi says I can’t charge it.
After five months of no plug-in EV functionality, their solution? “Just use gas.” No timeline for a fix, no loaner, and no buyback—just a condescending shrug and the expectation that I should be grateful my premium plug-in hybrid still runs… as a plain old gas car.

240 Watt PHEV Charging Adapter.
In 2022, I purchased a 2022 Audi Q5 PHEV from Audi Dominion here in San Antonio Texas. During the latter part 2023 I received a recall from Audi USA for the 240 Watt Charging Cable Adapter that connects to my Electrical Module. They said the Adapter was over heating causing problems with burned up Modules and overheating of the Long Cable that runs for the Module to my Plug-In Receptacle on my Car. In March of 2023, Audi Dominion contacted me to schedule an appointment to have this 240 Adapter changed out and to do a Hard Reset of my Module so that the new 240 Adapter would function correctly with my Module. Once I got Home and attended to plug the new 240 Adapter into my 240 Wall outlet Receptacle I noticed that the new 240 Adapter was manufactured with the Prongs 180 degrees out. Meaning, when I plugged this New 240 Adapter into my 240 Wall Receptacle I could not see the Controls on my Module. I went back to Audi Dominion to report this Discrepancy and they referred me to one of their Service Managers. This Manager said he was experiencing the same issue with his 240 Watt Electrical Adapter. He said that he had contacted Audi USA concerning this issue and he was waiting for a response. A few months later this same Manager called me and said a person from Audi USA had contacted him and told him that the Recalled 240 Adapter was manufactured using the wrong Blueprint. This Manger said a person from Audi USA also said that Audi USA sent the wrong Blueprint to the Germany Manufacturing Company. This Dominion Manger was told to contact me and get my contact information so that Audi USA could send me a new 240 Watt Adapter Cable Manufactured using the the right Blueprint. That never happened and to this day Audi Dominion nor Audi USA have done anything to correct this discrepancy. So, I say to all Customers watch who you do Business with because it’s not always what it seems. I paid for the Correct 240 Adapter but, when Audi USA Redesigned the Recall 240 Adapter it was not the same as the one I purchased with my Vehicle. So, please pay attention to who you do business with!
Expensive Piston issue - known problem
Just two and a half years ago in July 2022, my son, Josh, bought his first car, a 2012 Audi A5 with just 26,000 miles on it for $15,500. A number of months ago he started getting an “add oil” notification. Long story short, after taking to an Audi dealer, this 2012 Audi has a piston problem that will cost $8,000-$10,000 to fix!! And Audi KNOWS of this problem because there was a class action lawsuit against them about this piston issue that my son just missed by a few months! His car is now worth almost nothing and only has 50,000 miles on it. He sent a certified letter to Audi CEO, Daniel Weissland, hoping for some kind of response, maybe even an offer to help with the repair cost. NO response at all! I am so very disappointed in Audi for not even responding to my son’s letter. Why aren’t customers valued at Audi?? Why wasn't there a recall?

After buying multiple Audi's @ White Allen European Auto Group, which is apart of all 17 White Allen dealerships in Ohio, South Dakota and Wyoming. Obviously the third and fourth generation of the White family doesn't stand for the same values as the original owners.

An Audi has been the shop since August, no resolve through the Service Department, Service Management, General Manager Mr Scott Gomez , Fixed Operations Manager Mr Morgan or the dealer himself Mr White Sr. The dealership won't return call and reroutes us to Audi Help lines - all to no resolve, no parts, no answers and were told if we don't like it to go hire an attorney by Mr White Sr. himself. How can a man of this wealth and fortune not take care of his customers ? All because of parts availability? There are used parts available nationwide. A $65,000 car and serviced at White Allen European Auto Group and no help from the dealer except : Contact Audi : Verbatim per Mr White himself : " The Audi process begins on the “Audi Talk” site, where you would file a formal complaint." They can't even provide service to customers who buy a luxury car brand, so the real question is how will and do they treat domestic Chevrolet customers, or their Honda, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche or Volkswagen customers ?

For a company that reported in 2014 (referencing Dayton Daily News October / 2014) having over 700 million dollars in annual sales, 850 employees and sells over 25,000 vehicles a year that's bad business. To buy a vehicle from a White Family Company Auto Dealership was a mistake for this family.
Helpful Hints :
I. Buy Elsewhere. "Mr White Sr. And his staff don't care after the sale."
II. Read others reviews, especially related to Audi ownership, no parts are available - which means your without transportation.
III. Find a dealership that will warranty their new and used vehicles, and get it in writing.
I will never purchase another Audi…
I will never purchase another Audi again. After two years, they have been unable to resolve the issues with my vehicle. The service department performed poorly in diagnosing the problems. The only time I received a reliable diagnosis was when I took my car to an independent service center. Despite multiple visits, my check engine light consistently reappears after each service, resulting in thousands of dollars spent on inaccurate diagnostics. It’s essential to seek a second opinion from a shop that specializes in luxury brands.

A6 - 81,000 miles - Needs new engine
At 81,000 miles, my Audi $50K Audi A6 needs a new engine. This is from a known defect in the piston rings. The car burns through a quart of oil every 400 miles. Audi has settled a class action lawsuit for this. One would think that if they settled a class action lawsuit, it would result in a recall so dealers can take care of it. Audi did not. What a horrible car. What a horrible company. If I had known that the car would only last 81K miles, I would never have bought it. All I get from Audi USA and the dealers are should shrugs and effectively saying "sucks to be you."

Audi should stand by their vehicles when it is clear that a manufacturer defect is the problem. I was sold a 2014 Audi Q5 back in 2019 from the Audi dealer in Tysons Corner, VA. They took my money, but the 2014 model had a known issue with oil consumption and was recalled in 2014. I knew nothing about this defect, but the Audi dealer should have. When I recently took my car in due to "disappearing oil," because a message, saying "add 1 quart" would appear, so I took the car in to the dealer. I was told that I needed a whole new engine at $15,000. Audi never mentioned that there was a recall on this 2014 model for the exact same issue. However, when I googled "oil consumption Audi Q5," it was listed as a problem back in 2014, causing Audi to recall many of their new vehicles. Their dealer sold me this model and does not want to take responsibility, citing mileage that the recall period has lapsed and there's, nothing they can do. I was sold the car after it had already passed the recall period, which ended in 2014. I've been sold a lemon! When I called to let them know that I found the issue, they pretended that they wanted to help and sent me to customer relations to discuss the matter. A week later, I was told that they will be doing nothing even though they sold the car with a "known" manufacturer defect. I thought that I would be safe buying a lightly used vehicle from this dealer, but I was mistaken. They have no scruples for trying to off-load a manufacturer-defective vehicle onto, a trusting American consumer. Audi of America, and Audi Tysons should not be allowed to bring crappy cars to our citizens of the USA and off-load them onto our unsuspecting consumers, knowing that the vehicles are defective. This is NOT fair trade at all! To make it right, I want a FULL REPAIR or a Comparable Replacement to what I have purchased, without the DEFECT. This is the only vehicle I have to get around. My dear husband was a veteran, who fought for this country. You can't come to over to the USA and sell people lemons for car. You already knew the car had a manufacture defect. Take responsibility Audi, not my hard-earned money!

Beware if you are considering your next purchase from Marshall Audi expecting a world class service, quality ride and transparency and honesty throughout the process. Particularly if your main concern is the safety of your family and looking for the piece of mind and choosing a big name over small independent retailers hoping for a better after sales service as you will be highly disappointed or perhaps devastated like many of us who are just trying to lighten up by getting rid of some of their frustration in few words on this platform because there is no one in Marshall Group or in Audi to listen to or to act upon on your concerns.
After your purchase, you'll be lucky if all is well otherwise, please be prepared to say goodbye to your hard earned savings. Perhaps, if you have means, take them to the Court but not sure if the legal system is there to protect the public interest as it claims to be though.
Marshall Audi South East London (Beckenham) is a disgrace to Marshall Group and to worst for Audi's integrity.

I purchased a brand new 2024 q7 that from day one has had to go in for service and has been in several times since. Each issue has compounded and I’ve been lied to, delayed, pushed out and ignored by their team. I decided to take a buyout from the dealer and Audi won’t even remove my 10k through 50k service prepaid plan from the ledger, which is $1,000’s of dollars I’ll never get to use due to them practically ruining my vehicle. I have every email and every photo including the dealers own service adivisor saying “audi should just send you a new vehicle at the is point” after my last service. All they’ve done is make the process of swapping out the vehicle unbearable. I get it’s a business and profit is important but it isn’t everything. On top of that, they are profiting off me anyway as I’ve continued to make every payment on the vehicle even as there have been 10-12 issues with it. Every time I’ve taken it in for service the vehicle has been handed back in worse condition with compounding issues so I’m basically stuck losing $1,000s of dollars and they won’t even refund services I’m asking to refund to just get out of the vehicle. For reference my family only drives primarily Audis which is why I purchased this, and all the cars we’ve bought from Audi have been new including a q8 and a8 which are two of their premium vehicles. I even purchased an extended warranty with the services wanting to have this be a long term purchase but the car has been treated so poorly I literally can’t keep it. They’ve lost loyal customers over nothing but greed and ignorance.
As an update - I gave Audi and VW 3 more chances to rectify this situation by simply removing my prepaid services so I can at least recoup some money and they’ve denied that request. I wasn’t even told when I purchased the vehicle those services couldn’t be removed. They just talked me into them when purchasing the vehicle without walking through all the details. I’ll take some of the blame for that for not fully reading the contract but I never assumed a brand new 70,000$ vehicle would fall apart and it never came to mind it may not be refundable. customer service told me they do these things to protect the customer. They also told me that once I accept a buyout from the dealer costing me $1,000’s in wasted money to get out of a car they ruined, my case will be closed. They’re the worst company/people I’ve ever dealt with (factually).
As a further update: I had 900$ deducted from my trade in because I was missing a key insert. They wouldn’t even meet me at their cost, I was charged market value. Again, this is on a vehicle I purchased brand new, was ruined by their company, and I was backed into a corner to accept a buyout to move on.

Audi does not stand behind its product! I have an a3 that has 52k miles on it and the mech unit went out and they wont do anything to help. I would have thought this company would stand behind its product but they dont care. I will NEVER buy another audi and I will tell anybody and everybody that will listen that they shouldnt either!
I'm driving a lemon car
Absolutely the worst experience I had with Audi I am literally driving a lemon and Audi is not willing to help to fix the issue and I'm stuck with the car for the last 3 months and they're not willing to get me out of it for the next 3 years one big nightmare no help no consideration they just brush you off from one dealer to another and no one is doing nothing to fix the issue absolutely do not recommend them this is my sixth car but I will never ever get anything from them again

I have bought four 6 figure Audis sense 2015. The latest a 2023 SQ7 is fantastic HOWEVER for the first time I have to pay 35 dollars to unlock some of the cool nav features. I am really mad about his. I will not be buying another Audi EVER because of this greediness. You spend 125,000 for a vehicle and they have the audacity to charge for what they consider premium features. Wake up Audi the SQ7 is a premium vehicle! You just lost a customer! Like you are going to care, especially in the USA...of course the Germans would be all over this.

I bought a car from gumtree from a bad lair person that was faulty from day I was buy the car, I able to insurance it in few days time, and I start to drive it and I find out car got fault, after about 2 weeks I contacted seller that he said sorry is past about 2weeks you must take it back after one day, I must Insurense it first and it’s took few days. I reported to gumtree customer service, and still about 5 weeks past, no body even answers me, to help me in this situation, that was not as described , I reported to Gumtree in several times and asked for help and request refund. Anyway I try to took the car to Audi dealership in Cheshire Oaks Audi. I book the Car after about 2 weeks appointment. I live in Liverpool but in Liverpool they was busy and they give appointments for about 5 weeks later. Anyway I book appointment at Audi dealership, in Audi Cheshire Oaks Audi, they put the car in computer for diagnose. And after diagnose, engineer in a video film explained the fault and also in 2 pages note explained about the car fault. He explained and show in film there part was case problems that not original and need to change to Audi original one, and also car wheels need changes and made a big recipe,but one part need to definitely change that part he said, not original, the other things like Wheels which I told them I order to buy and I will change it when arrived. They start to fix that part which cost £850, I waited on that place because they said car be ready by end of the day so I waited there from about 11 morning till 5 pm. At 5 pm they said sorry your car need to be stay tomorrow engineer test it and we will clean your car for free and you can take it. And also when pay for fixing no need for pay for computer diagnose.
My wife disable and her walker was in back of the car I thought, like they said. My car will be Finished by end of the day. That’s why I did not took out, Her walker from back of the car, And the lady from Audi dealership, phone me next day, and said, the Car wheels are very bad you must buy one Car wheel from us, we’ll change it, than engineer will be safe to test your car, otherwise is danger for engineer I ask them change with spare wheel, because I find out all wheels were very bad so I did order it myself. After 2 hours she said ok I will tell engineer, And She said if you don’t buy wheels, your car be ready for next week. After about 5 days, again I phone Audi dealership , I thought my car is ready, asked them what time I can pick up my car. She said sorry engineer not been in work to test your car to finish it But tomorrow his come and test it and we wash for you free and we tell you to come. And she again phone me day after, said sorry your car still not fix and still same fault is on. And need another part change another £500 and the first part wasn’t the fault , she said is another part need change after another week again, she said still not fix need another £2000 another part need to change, we can take of second part and not charge you for that but you must pay for first one, I said no way leave it take your parts and I will come to take my car. She said sorry we can not take the part engineer put lot of times in it, I said is wrong and engineer cannot fix it. Put the wrong part she said ok can take out second part £550 charge for second part.but you must pay for first part and more £90 for diagnose fault,which was wrong. And she said you not let engineer finish the job to fix your car and because I said I don’t pay another£2000. It’s look like something wrong with engineer too- Is it that ridiculous. And still car not fix she said. And also one time she said sell a car and buy one new from us I said I just buy it from gumtree ,
Exactly look like they don’t care about fix a car, they just think how they can took money from you. At first they said we put your car on computer and computer Check the car problem in all part the computer will diagnose a fault, and also find out how bad the fault is some danger need change some can wait. Now they made a recipe for me that I must pay £950 for even wrong diagnosis too- that at first said £90 for find a fault with computer if we fix car we not charge you for diagnose, now they want to take money from me for what ? For not fix a car or for wrong computer diagnose?

I purchased a 2022 Audi Q5 in Feb 2022. After having to add oil a few times and being told that was normal my engine had to be replaced in September 2022. I had issues throughout and it never seemed right but they couldnt find anything. Then I had to have the manifold replaced. After brining it in numerous tie=me for various issues the engine went again in December of 2023. So I asked Audi to replace this vehicle and an "advocate" was assigned. I am told they areyour contact person. Do not believe it. I was told my claim was under review and I would hear something within 10 days. That was on December 14th. I have written to my "advocate" 6 times since then and have heard nothing,
The customer service I have received in the NY dealership and through Audi USA has been horrendous at best. It is very difficult to drive a car that you do not feel safe in. I have been expressing this for a while now and they truly do not seem to care.
In general I am sure that their vehicles are great however they need to admit that this one is not and do the right thing.
I have never experienced customer service that was so poor. I even informed Germany of this treatment and nothing has happened.
Remember when purchasing a vehicle the customer service you will receive is just as important as the vehicle.

Never will go to Any Audi Dealerships in the future, had problems with 2 different Audi dealerships with Covert Racism and the Audi Advocates are useless No Good Nose Browners also.
