PT 2 FRAUD: I got a confirmed cancellation from ATT but AttSavings sent an installer anyway. I told him I had canceled & already set up with another company. Either he or AttSavings LIED & reported a successful installation at my address, so ATT began billing me for an account I didn't know I had, under the landline phone number I didn't know I had. They defrauded me and the real/official ATT company!

PT 1 before fraud: Didn't realize I was at a third-party website. Wondered why the price was so terrible, but I was moving, maybe they were all really expensive there? Official ATT doesn't even cover my address! Thankfully I was able to get out of it. Lots of research after the suspicious phone call, in time to cancel. They still sent me a modem after I canceled. Not sure how to return. Hope I don't get a bill.

After calling number in email provided, the recording said there would be a wait of 3 mins to talk with representative. After listening to music and recordings for 14 1/2 minutes, a representative answered but he was very difficult to understand and said I needed to talk to customer service. After holding again for a few minutes, I got disconnected. Eventually I spoke with a very helpful, professional, and competent representative who told me it was not possible to keep the current SC phone number (after a previous rep had entered the new address and said that I definitely could keep the number). Finally after about thirty minutes of trying, this representative told me exactly what I needed to do and what the charges would be. It's unfortunate that it took so much frustration and misinformation prior to talking with a really helpful person (Jason in Customer Service).

So after 5 phone calls to AT&T to do something as simple as a move of existing service to a new address, which also requires changing the phone number, there is exactly the same revolving door. I know the new number and the expected service date, but "There is a problem with processing your order". As a stockholder, this is the worst possible customer service ever imaginable. Maybe they really want people to change service providers.

My experience with this installer was very good. James was courteous, very efficient and knowledgeable. He made me feel as if I was his only concern and that he wanted to provide me with the best service possible. He is definitely an asset to AT&T.

Although the technician was very polite and helpful, it was very unsettling that he did not have the same instructions that the customer service agent and I agreed to on the phone when I signed up for service. It was my understanding that I would be splitting a line, so that 3 TVs would be hooked up only using 2 boxes. When the technician arrived he explained to me that wasn't possible unless the 2 TVs that were sharing a box were watching the same thing at the same time? This was NOT what I was told on the phone when I signed up for service. The technician explained that he would have to give each TV a separate box and that I would be charged for it? This is EXACTLY the reason that I left Comcast, all of these extra fees AFTER agreeing for service. This was very upsetting and if I see these extra charges on my account, I will consider going back to Comcast, as lying or being deceitful when signing up for service is not appreciated.

i was told i was getting the equipment on Friday, stayed home waiting and nothing. finally checked my email to find out will not deliver until 11-03-15.

Had to cancel all your services. They could not set up phone or internet for 10 days. I moved into a new condo and without these services I have no way to contact any contractors to schedule work for my new condo.
I do not have a cell phone nor do I ever want one. I expected better service
from AT&T. This is the reason I cancelled

I would highly recommend AT&T for their excellent installation service and very fine service technician.

From the moment the technician arrived, all the way until the Ronnie parted he was nothing but professional and very informative. I had many questions and I'm sure I slowed him down, but he seemed as excited to educate me about the my new services as I was to learn them. I never fill out these reviews or serveys, but his knowledge and patience really impressed me and I felt he deserved to be recognized for it.

The initial customer service experience was pleasant. He was nice and called me back promptly to help determine which internet plan was best for our family usage. During the call, I specified that I did not want to pay the $99 installation fee and for AT&T to just mail the modem. However, I received text that a tech will be coming out on 10/27 to install the modem. I had to call in to cancel. The customer service rep told it was cancelled upon my request BUT I still received a text stating that a tech was going to come out!

On-site technicians were very knowledgeable, professional and courteous and probably went beyond the norm to help two tech challenged seniors with many questions.

The ATT representative I spoke to advised that the service box could support 8 televisions. The tech spent 8 hours in our home and at the end when we were checking the stations found out the service box could only support 4 tvs at a time. ATT ran my credit when they knew their service was inadequate; charged $12.99 for tech support which I have not received back yet. Overall the experience was really horrible.

The Tech came and said that they would have to run fiber to my house to turn on the new service. that was 3 days ago and we have not heard anything since. The salesperson that sold the package never said anything about changing our wiring or anything like that. Supposed to be quick and painless.
Now we don't know what is happening. Not the Tech's fault - just no communication in the system and we get lost in the shuffle.

I was told the merger wasn't far enough along to let me bundle....I have 8 months left on Direct TV....seems a little odd I have to install a dish just to change to Uverse TV in 8 months. I have a new townhouse and don't want the dish on my roof. Jim
