I recently bought my mum a gift rug and some other accessories from Atmacha. They were incredibly helpful with helping me pick what she would like. They delivered it really quickly and my mum was in love with what we picked! Will definitely be repurchasing from them again :)

Headline: Serious safety hazard with Ottoman mechanism – Matter now with Small Claims Court

I am writing this to warn other families, especially those with children. I purchased a Solo King-Size Ottoman Bed from this company on 09th March 2026 delivery on the 27th of April 3026. Within less than a month, the gas-lift mechanism completely failed, causing the heavy bed base to violently slam down from mid-air with a loud thud. This is a severe physical hazard that could have caused serious injuries to my head, neck, or shoulders, and leaves me terrified for my 10-year-old child.

Furthermore, the internal foam crackles loudly under pressure, and the upholstery fabrics began deforming almost immediately.

When I raised these critical safety concerns, the company sent out a team who tried to apply a patchwork "fix" by installing unadvertised, makeshift plastic locking brakes that require a user to manually lock them on both sides. When I asked for a written safety guarantee for this modified mechanism, the company refused to provide one.

They then blamed my standard mattress (admitting in writing that they list no weight restrictions on their website) and tried to force me into accepting store credit minus an illegal 15% "dismantling fee" for a faulty product.

Because they refuse to issue a full monetary refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I have been left with no choice but to launch a formal legal claim against them via the UK Government's Small Claims Court (Money Claims Online). Do not risk your family's safety with this product or company.

Great cushions and very well packaged

I had my eye on this collection of furniture for some time, however I was hesitant to go ahead with an order mainly because of distance. I eventually decided to go for it and I’m very glad I did. Although I had no face-to-face consultations with the staff - it was all by messages/phone - the staff were superb. They basically could not have done more for me, putting up with my continual questions, sending me photos and videos to help me with choice and colour, and just generally making the whole process very straightforward from discussing and ordering the various pieces to the actual delivery (which given the size and weight of the larger pieces was superb - the two men were very careful, quiet yet quick; they put the pieces together and removed all the rubbish too). I am incredibly grateful to them all. I’m so delighted with my new furniture - it is well made and looks even better than it did online. I would throughly recommend Atmacha. Five stars don’t seem to be enough!

I requested a return on the product over two weeks ago and I am still waiting on a response. I'd like to return my order please.

I have looked for cushions everywhere without success. I found them and they were delivered as described and I am extremely pleased with both the look and the quality of them . Will definitely order again .

We have bought quite a lot of furniture from Atmacha and have always found them to deliver high quality products at very competitive prices, there is always a long lead time for items not in stock but always within specified time, highly recommended for something a little different

I had a very good experience with Atmacha in store. In particular Abrah was extremely helpful and communicative. Im very happy with the dining room chairs I had delivered today and with previous purchases of a rug and cushions. However I think that the delivery section could be improved.

I recently had a genuinely lovely experience with Atmacha Home And Living. Due to a mix-up, I received the wrong cushions in my order, which actually turned out to be a more expensive set. I contacted them to let them know, as I wanted to be honest and check how they would like to proceed.

"This is actually the third rug I’ve bought from this brand! I got the previous two as gifts for my wife, and she absolutely loved them. I bought this one yesterday, and a friend of mine also went and bought the exact same model and color because she liked it so much.
