About Astute Graphics
We are a UK based, leading innovative experts in designing creative tools for vector designers that significantly save time, boost creativity and achieve refined results, and we’ve been doing this since 2006.
We lead the way with cutting-edge design software — we bring back the fun to drawing whilst making it far easier to meet tight deadlines and make on the fly changes. We pride ourselves in helping you with any questions you may have, from the technical to the simple.
Our Mission
Astute Graphics is driven by its employees who demonstrate a passion for continuously enhancing your design workflow. We invest time in finding out what you really need and with our wealth of creativity and resourcefulness we are able to bring out a steady stream of releases each year based on that user feedback. In 2019, we made a decision to change to a more affordable subscription service with continued updates to all our products. We delivered a new Astute Manager to give you full control over your plugins and a new team licence management system for larger studios and corporates. We also introduced 4 brand-new plugins into our suite over the last 12 months, giving Illustrator more functionality to enable you to work faster, smarter and more creatively with our suite of 21 time saving tools.
Well established with an enviable reputation in our field, this has led to strong alliances with key partners such as Adobe, X-Pen and Wacom. Our tools are used by thousands of designers from all different walks of life, from individual freelancers to large corporations. We have deep values and ethics to conduct our business responsibly and fairly both with our valued clients and suppliers.

I resubscribed to Astute because I was having major issues with a complicated vector illustration I was doing. I have to say that Vector Aid is worth the subscription price alone. I love that plug-in!

VectorFirstAid is one of our favourite plugins, we're so glad that you agree!
Thank you for your review.
Subscription Reminder
The other day was a long weekend here, so banks won't make transactions and I run out of my subscription, ending with 3 straight days unable to use the plugin while the money was going your way.
It would be nice if you have an e-mail reminder for when you are running out so this wouldn't happen, out of that, happy with the product. Thanks

Not what I expected
It's okay; for the price, I was expecting more unique features/functions, textures/brushes/graphics than it has, and am disappointed in the overall functionality of the plug-in. I don't foresee myself purchasing it again in the future.

Thank you for taking the time to review us and we're sorry to read that the plugins have so far not met your expectations.
As we can see that you have almost a year of your subscription remaining, please do feel free to reach out to our support team with any specific questions you may have about functionality or features. They will be happy to help you and can provide some useful tutorials to help you get the best out of your remaining year.
Greedy company
Does not offer monthly payments, will not allow for individual plugins to be downloaded for less money by tier even though I already paid full price for their stippling plug years ago. Great software, garbage company.

Hi Jesse.
Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry to read that you're unhappy with the subscription service. Whilst the vast majority of our customers have been happy with this change of business model, we realise that it may not suit everyone.
Whilst previously a full set of 16 of our plugins (with annual paid for updates/upgrades) was priced at almost $600 USD, the subscription service has enabled us to offer 21 plugins with more regular updates on an annual payment at just a quarter of this price. This has enabled customers better access to all tools.
If you would like to continue using your legacy Stipplism plugin, please do contact our support team and they will be happy to provide you with a legacy installer for it. The Free Trial of our subscription will also enable you to keep 4 of the plugins for free if you wish to try this.
Thank you for your past purchase and thank you for taking the time to review us.
The only reason that I gave 4 stars
The only reason that I gave 4 stars, instead of 5, is about inflation. I absolutely love Astute Graphics Plug-Ins. I have been using the whole suite for 2 years now. And would struggle to work without it now. I started out with Phantasm. And have never regretted upgrading to the whole suite.
