Astrawatt's work crew has been responsive, proficient and getting the job done the best they can and that's why I gave my second solar project to Astrawatt again.
Thanks to the lady project manager who has been very attentive to my phone calls.
Astrawatt's Houston division CEO is professional and knowledgeable.
I have no doubt to come back to Astrawatt for any additional solar needs.

Design and installation process went smoothly but the original energy production estimate was off. They predicted 7.6 MWh in first year of production but I only saw 6.9 MWh in my first full year 2023. Also, I recommended them to a colleague, and one of the workers fell off his roof during install and was hospitalized.

Everyone on the project, from the project manager to the installers and everyone in between, were extremely professional. They kept us updated on the schedule and got everything installed and working as advertised.

My solar adventure started with requesting quotes from many companies in the area. Rhody Harris got back to me faster than any of the other companies, wasn't pushy, respected that I had done my research, and spent our time filling in the gaps in my knowledge about SOLAR instead of their COMPANY. He was trying to sell me on solar, even if I didn't end up going with them. You can tell he truly loves solar.

Astrawatt was super cost competitive, despite using the best technologies solar has to offer! The IQ8M microinverters and REC panels are top of the line. Many competitors tried to sell me on cheaper inverters and panels for the same price.

It also helped that they had the best loan options with no absurd fees. The loan I opted for was through Credit Human, which has simple and reasonable interest rates, comparable to personal loans. They also didn't try to sell me on using MACRS on a residential system in order to stay cost competitive.

After I was approved for the loan I was connected with Megan Hail, a project manager. She had wonderful communication and kept me in the loop the entire time.

A project coordinator, Desmond Poirier, came out to my house and took measurements of the roof with a drone and crawled up into my attic. I was able to supply him with engineering plans of the roof that I requested from my builder.

Megan continued to keep me updated as the engineering plans were approved by all of the required entities, and scheduled my install.

The Chris Roach and the other installers showed up before the materials and began checking things out. Once the materials arrived they cut a 3 day job into 2. They cleaned up after themselves and when they left you wouldn't have even known they were there!

x- Did not provide panels that were quoted, without gaining approval of owner for substitutions.
x- Red nameplate on house does not accurately show layout of panels installed, and all 180 degrees rotated to house position where nameplate was installed.
x- Waiting for assessment of one full year service, and potential need whether to install one or more panels.

Excellent presentation of the system components. Efficient, professional installation

I have owned this system for about 3 years. I had an inverter fail. The initial response to my call was less than expected. It apparently was a "call center". Finally I reached someone local.

The problem was solved quickly and I couldn't have had a better experience.

I was very happy with all the employees of this company. I found them knowledgeable and competent. I was also happy with the design of the system that they came up with. I'm also very happy with the brand of equipment that they used. I am really impressed with its capabilities. One thing though I have discovered is that your choice of retail electricity provider makes a big difference in savings from the system. This is complicated and I don't think it can be accurately determined beforehand.

The installation was the best. The Enphase system is the best in the industry! We love our solar system.

Our system was designed and installed by Astrawatt, and performs very well. We have seen a significant reduction in our Evergy bill, with one month being as low as $6.32! Even during the very cold month of January, 2024, when our panels were covered with snow for over a week, our Evergy bill was only about $60.

panel wattage difference was quickly and fairly addressed.

After install I had some issues and needed assistance. Had to make several calls about the issues. Finally got through & complained about the issues they said someone would call me no one did, then they would not answer the phone. (I know this because I called back from a different number and they picked up immediately). Finally had someone call back and he offered several solutions and said he could call back after speaking with higher ups- again crickets. Would never recommend this company.

Weak project management: comms, customer chasing down information; defective equipment, customer leading resolution; teamwork, customer developing teaming between equipment supplier and installer.

No one contacts me when there is an issue with my system. It currently says it isn't fully functional and after leaving a voice mail they haven't called back.

The entire crew where polite and courteous. Wasted no time in getting the panels back on my home.

We had high electric bills even thou we had solor panels after getting thr to them. They came out inspected our system and reinstalled the inverters with newer models. And have monitor them to keep working. Above and beyond.

The equipment, the people, and particularly their commitment to the quality of performance of the system. Our experience was outstanding!

Doesn’t produce the energy it’s supposed to and my electricity panel trips when I have to things running in the kitchen at the same time
