Step by step, hand held along the way. (Which was so helpful to me). When my husband said he wanted to be sent into space I honestly thought it was pie in the sky, ie never going to happen and not financially possible. So when the worst happened I had to find a way to make his final wish happen. When u found Aura flights it couldn't have been more perfect. The flight film wad edited to perfection, we chose Iron Maiden's Flight of Icurus and the timing of the lyrics "fligh high touch the sun" just as the sun is in view.The process is quick and simple and they really cant do enough to help you through the process. Really amazing at what they do. And now I can rest easy knowing my husband got what he wanted and his friends and family have all helped to get him there. ❤️

An overall incredible experience. Aura have been top tier professional from my initial enquiry. I felt Elle's communication has been excellent, with her and the team showing the utmost respect for me and my late dad throughout. The courier company used were also fantastic. My dad's dream was to go into space and so, for Aura to make this dream a reality for him was the final send off he deserved. I would absolutely recommend Aura Flights to anyone. When my husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he found Aura Space Flights and he knew straight away this was how he wanted his ashes scattered. He always wanted to travel around the world.

I had a hard time trying to decide where to scatter my Dad's ashes. He was such a wonderful man and a brilliant father, and nowhere seemed good enough for him to go until I discovered Aura Flights. Giving him the opportunity to be scattered above the Earth, and allowing his ashes to travel the globe for weeks/months before coming back down in rain and snow seemed like the only possible option for a man filled with so much greatness.

From the beginning Aura Fights were brilliant to deal with. They answered all my questions so quickly, made the process as painless as possible, and kept me up to date the whole way through. The live stream of the launch was both touching and informative, and the first draft of the video was send over so quickly. On top of that, they send me an updated video with all my amendment requests within 24 hours, and then I received the hard copy in the mail not long after.

Throughout the process there were no issues, and the team were fantastic to deal with. I could not recommend Aura Flights any higher for the service they provide. If you want to give a loved one a unique send off, this is definitely the way to go.

The whole process of organising the Voyager Flight with Aura was straightforward and handled with respect and compassion. I was kept up to date all the way through the process with what the next step would be, when the launch would take place and when my husband's ashes would be returned to me.
I would highly recommend Aura Flights to be able to honour a lost loved one.

My husband was a proper English man. He loved his family, astronomy, space and Pink Floyd. He believed to enjoy life you "Don't count the days, but make the days count". When he was diagnosed we discussed what services he wanted. A space memorial was his only request.

I initially tried another company, (Celestis); however my husband's remains were left in a "bank vault" for almost 2 years, postponement after postponement, excuse after excuse. It took me months of emails, phone calls, etc. to get him back and they basically, (in my opinion) are in it for the money. (For the record, the launch he was scheduled for has been postponed again recently, making it the 5th or 6th time). I then looked into a 2nd company, (Beyond Burials), but I could not confirm any reviews or get straight answers from them.

Yet, I was determined to give this to my husband as one of his final wishes. I was lucky enough to find Aura Flights. From the beginning, Douglas (in the U.S.) location could not have been more helpful and caring. He not only arranged everything here, but handled and coordinated getting my husband back to the UK location for his launch and on top of this, he worked diligently with the Aura team to have my husband's launch occur on what would have been his 75th birthday at our request.

Doug stayed in contact with me throughout this journey and kept me updated on everything. I cannot say enough about Aura Flights and I thank their team in the US and the UK for making this happen.

We were unsure of what to do for my brother as nothing seemed to fit the type of person he was. Then my partner found Aura Flights & as soon as I read the details of what they offered I knew that it was perfect for him.

From my first contact with them (& Elle specifically) they made the whole process incredibly simple & clear.

My brother made his final journey recently & I'm sure its exactly what he would have wanted.

I am very grateful to the Aura Flights team for creating the option of scattering ashes in space, there is nothing else that would have been appropriate for my fiancé’s ashes. Everyone involved with the process was respectful and thoughtful throughout and I totally agree with a previous review about being appreciative of having one person as the contact throughout (Samantha in our case - she couldn’t have been more helpful and caring).
Being able to watch the launch on live-feed made us feel like we were there and it was great to have the link so we could send it to loved ones so that they could also feel part of it (especially as the funeral was in lockdown). I really appreciated the respect and dignity you could see from the team members at the launch. Following the launch it was wonderful to see the ‘flight highlights’ and scatter on the USB and to be able to buy additional photos, USBs and DVDs to send to family and friends. The photos and video are absolutely stunning and to be able to watch the ashes being released is a very emotional experience - a moment of joy to be treasured. Thank you Aura Flights.

I highly recommend this company. We first came across them when arranging my father's funeral. Having lost both my dad and his wife within weeks of each other we wanted to do something for them both. Samantha was amazing from the first point of contact right through to the launch day. It is a credit to the company that you just deal with one person throughout the process.

Our experience of dealing with Aura Flights has been absolutely outstanding. Samantha talked us through the process prior to the launch and on the day she made sure we were comfortable with everything. She is very respectful of the occasion and we felt she was the perfect person to share the day with.
The photos and videos provided following the launch are absolutely breathtaking. We feel so proud showing them to family and friends. It was the perfect send off for my Dad. He deserved the best and that’s exactly what Aura flights provided us with.

I came to this having never had to consider anything like it until my late brother asked for it to be his way of having his ashes scattered. He was a great traveller and he wanted this to be his last journey.

From the moment I first contacted Aura Flights, the process has been very easy to arrange. Samantha at Aura was available on the phone and through emails to both explain and guide me through the process.

Samantha took care of the arrangements to collect my brother's ashes from the undertaker and she and her team worked with me to get our words, pictures and music added to the video of the launch and subsequent release of the ashes.

Within hours, we received a spectacular still shot of the release and a few days later we were given the YouTube (private area) link to watch the video.

I have shared the video link with my freinds, as well as my brother's as the release was also simply spectacular. most of the comments I got back were just 'Wow!'.

I am sure you will understansd when I say I hope it is a long time before I have to do something like this again, but I would not hesitate to use Aura again.

I have now had to scatter the ashes of both my parents and buried one of my brothers. This, by far, was the most memorable way to go.

We had a very basic Covid time cremation for my brother, with only the hearse, a short ceremony and then the cremation. However, that was almost twice the cost of the space launch and I am sure that my brother would have appreciated the space launch far more. We were also able to share the moment with his friends and family around the world.

We were not able to have the day that we wished for for the launch, but this is due to atmospheric conditions and it was cleasly explained to me from the beginning by Samantha. However, frankly that did not matter. After all, you are a long time dead, so what does the odd day matter uin the scheme of things.

This was an excellent way to send my brother off. I am sure he would have loved it.

Thank you to Aura Flights for such a offering such an unique and special service for spreading my loved ones ashes. I found the whole experience totally amazing and breathtaking. The pictures and video of the flight are just stunning. Samantha was helpful and kept me updated the whole time. For something so sensitive and emotional, it was such a positive experience. The whole experience was breathtaking !! We’d never heard of this before, but felt it was the most fitting lasting act we could do for our beautiful, brave daughter. The ascent was peaceful, on a beautiful clear day in Portsmouth. Samantha kept me informed step by step every day, the team worked tirelessly in giving us our very special day . We saw amazing clear views over Portsmouth, the spinnaker tower, Portsea, etc, it was Jo’s last look over the place she loved most. The on board camera recorded crystal clear footage right up to the release of her Ashes . We chose the Memorial Launch, as it’s more personal and we chose Portsmouth for her launch. Aura Flights , what a truly beautiful way to say Goodbye . Thank you so much, this day will be remembered and talked about for decades. I’m sure more people will say Goodbye to their loved ones and use Aura Flights, When it’s my time to leave this world , that’s how I’d like to leave it.
