Which I found reassuring after my investments portfolio as recently moved from Whitechurch investments who had provided an excellent service.
Patient careful explanation
Very friendly advisor who took time to ensure I understood all details. All areas carefully discussed and queries fully explained. So I'm content with the service provided.
They failed to keep records of meetings…
They failed to keep records of meetings and then accused me of not having them. They did apologise but put the wrong dates in the letter. They spelt my new financial advisors name incorrectly twice in the same letter. There attention to detail is nonexistent which is very worrying considering the responsibility they have for people's investments.

JoJo listened to me and took care to understand my requirements. She then followed through with confirmations. Personable with a good sense of humour.
Professional response to a significant specific request
I was transferred to the client department very quickly. The professional, Mojoyin Oshin was very helpful and got back to me within one hour which was encouraging. An Adviser's name was supplied with an appointment date and time to discuss financial issues.
Excellent experience
Called to organise a withdrawal, David Jones went above and beyond to ensure I understood all of the options available to me, really high standard of customer service
Basic processes not in place.
I had sent a request by e-mail regarding my ISA. I had no response in spite of sending a reminder. I then phoned, and was told that the individual I had e-mailed was no longer with the company. Why was there no process in place for my original e-mail to be redirected? During the same telephone call I was also told that my last annual review had taken place 16/17 months ago. Again, why is there no process in place for me to be notified of a review after 12 months have elapsed? Had I not phoned no action would have been taken on either of these two points. On the plus side my call was dealt with efficiently, and both of the above issues were sorted.

We have been with Ascot Lloyd for several years now and have always found them to be supportive and helpful. Our recent review was held on the phone but was just as good as our face to face ones have been.
