Arrived on time
Arrived on time, but it’s VERY cheaply made. For the price they charge I thought the back of the box would also be wooden but it’s a foam material that you can’t even hang on a wall. Very disappointing. Waste of money.

We’re sorry the construction wasn’t what you expected. This order was for a custom shadowbox frame, and it was shipped fully constructed. While the rear panel includes foam board, it is bonded to mat board for additional support and is designed to hold approximately 20 pounds of material when properly attached. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify how the shadowbox is constructed.

I had a question and customer service was very helpful. the frame is fine, and I’m happy with it! the issue that customer service helped me with had to do with depth of tabs in the back of the frame. I think it would be great if that choice could be one of the choices when ordering the frame instead of put in the comments after the frame is ordered. Just a thought. I will definitely order from you when I next need a frame. thank you!

The frames arrived quickly and look good in the space.
The frames arrived quickly and were easy to work with. They are less sturdy than I imagined, so when being handled, the photo and backing popped out of the fasteners on the back. They are relatively lightweight which is ideal since they are hung about 10 feet above the floor on a tall wall. The anti-glare finish on the plexiglass is worth the extra cost.

Damaged - no response from customer service
Unfortunately, the frame was received damaged. I reported the damage to ArtToFrame same day by email, then again seven days later. No response from customer service whatsoever. I called them today and left a message, but no response thus far. Frame looks great except for the broken corners. Very disappointing considering all of the positive reviews.

Great customer service!
When my beautiful frame arrived with the glass broken, I reached out to ATF and informed them, along with photos. In return, they responded promptly, and sent a new pane of glass, at no charge, which arrived in only 4 days. The new pane arrived packaged very securely, ensuring a safe arrival. It is now united with my beautiful frame. The prompt response, along with a desire to fix the problem was the kind of customer service you would hope to receive. I have ordered from them twice, and I am very happy with both purchases. I would highly recommend them for any of your framing needs!

I am very pleased with the product, and the customer service is excellent! I think the reproduction of the picture that I sent to be framed was slightly darker than the original, but it still looks good.

Frame arrived broken and plexiglass scratched as well. Upon arrival I realized this frame is very cheaply made and of poor quality. For the price, go elsewhere.

Lacking customer service.
The frame arrived, and I truly love the idea and the craftsmanship. I was excited to hang it, but the corner wedges were missing, even after we searched through the packaging several times.I emailed customer service on Sunday, and the Wednesday reply simply asked for photos of everything we received. When I called, I was told the same thing again. I had hoped for an apology and reassurance that the missing pieces were already being sent, but that didn’t happen.My husband became frustrated and decided to find a solution himself. I was really looking forward to trying more of this company’s products since we have additional framing needs, but the customer service experience unfortunately fell short

A simpler process
I like that you submit your art dimension then determine the mat border you prefer and the frame dimensions are calculated for you. That's simpler than working from the frame size back to your art dimensions.

Poorly made
The picture kept falling down on the frame. After having to adjust it a second time, I taped the picture to the matting but then half of the metal tabs fell off when I tried to push them up and down again. Feels very poorly made for such an expensive frame.
UPDATE: I sent them photos in response to their message, and at first they offered me a store credit for 50% of my order price, not a replacement or a refund as they suggested in their public comment. When I said a store credit was useless, as I wasn’t planning on ordering from here again, they offered a replacement frame instead, which I’ve accepted. I may update my review again if this frame lasts longer this time.

I've used them for several projects. The website is user friendly. They produce quality work. I had an issue with shipping damage and they took care of it, no hassle. I would not hesitate to use them again.
