Zero Accountability. Poor Service.
I’ve tried using Applauz twice, and both experiences were major letdowns.
1. First Attempt (Broken UI): I originally tried to purchase an item, but the entire UI filtering system was completely broken, forcing me to abandon my cart and come back later.
2. Second Attempt (Inventory & Refund Failure): I finally placed an order using my points. One to two weeks later, I was told the item was unavailable. They blamed it on their platform's integration/reliance on supplier inventory.
The Ripple Effect: Because their system failed to track accurate stock, my points were locked up. By the time they finally reimbursed my points, a limited-time Visa promotion I wanted to use them on had already expired.
When I reached out to customer service to ask if they could honor the promotion—given that the delay was entirely due to their systemic inventory errors—they basically told me to just eat the loss and that they would "forward the comments to the team."
Refusing to make things right when your own system failures cost a customer a promotion is unacceptable. Absolute lack of accountability.
