Well intended, but misses the mark
I purchased this in November, and stair stepped my way into it with the intention of using it 2026 to replace a simplified budgeting spreadsheet I used for almost 20 years. Suffice it to say I am 3.5 months into 2026 and scrapping this spreadsheet. It is absolutely not functional to keep track of a fairly tight middle class income week to week. This is really meant for someone who has significant play in their budget and just wants to track their spending, which is all it really did for me. At the end of my trial run, all I have really walked away with is a better idea of where I am spending my money, and nothing more. The spreadsheet is loaded with bugs and laggy response. I often have to try and hit my drop downs multiple times just to load a certain income or spending category that I created on the setup tab when using the transactions log, among various other issues. Ultimately I have decided I will find and pay for a budgeting app with better response times to data inputting. The final deal breaker for me is that I am an especially big fan of excel, and even I find this spreadsheet too busy and demanding, to the point I kind of dread using it now.
