This is a great brand which combines high quality products and an absolutely excellent customer service experience. Wearing their sandals makes you want to travel back in the time of Ancient Greece. Keep up the good work AGS team!

I would give a zero if I could. Avoid these scammers at all costs. When I realised that my item would not be delivered within the time frame I asked for a refund before the shoes even left Greece. I was told that I would be no problem however they ended up sending the shoes ro Australia anyways and this was after a week btw and then to only have them returned back to Greece where I now have to wait weeks on end for their customs to clear this. I never received the shoes and they are making me wait for the refund for their mistakes. In an email they actually said they take no responsibility for this. Absolutely the worst customer service on the world. Disgusting company. Scammers. Do not shop with them as you will wait for weeks for your order if it ever even arrives and god forbid you need an exchange or refund. Money down the toilet. Absurd how rude they are

Will never be shopping with this company again I ordered a $400 bag over a month ago and still no refund they had trouble with their shipping company delivering even though I had purchased shoes 2 weeks prior to this order that arrived within 5 days of ordering.

After 2 weeks no delivery I queried this they told me I had to contact their shipping company when contacting they told me they couldn’t deliver to my address.. upon contacting Ancient Greek sandals I was told that I had to give the company more information which was ridiculous as I had received a parcel a week prior from exact the same company.

By this point I had enough of dealing with the cheap laboured shipping and asked for a refund so they could now deal with the poor shipping.

I made my order 9Th of august and the last I was updated after a few emails not replied about refund I was told on the 8Th of September that my bag had reached Greece and was in customs it’s now 14TH September and still no refund!!! Don’t waste your time with this company..

I bought the shoes in the winter sale for 80$ and I wore them this summer. I can only compare this to this one time I wore plastic shoes from h&m for about 30$. I had skin rashes and blisters after a short twenty minutes long walk.

I bought sandals €143.50 with a thick sole, after just one day of wearing, pieces fell off the sole. For this amount, you really do expect good quality that will last a few seasons. Delivery was fast and good. I sent an e-mail to customer service. Definitely no second purchase from Ancient Greek sandals for me!

Mine just arrived... the bit between big toe and the second toe is a wide unfinished leather strip, which immediately cut into the skin..I'm glad i used a 15% off but now I'm reading about the nonrefundable duties :( Next time I'll be buying from Russell&Bromley, Dune and Clarks!

Bought some sandals, which fit and looked great when I first tried them on but as soon as I wore them my feet were torn to shreds and covered in blisters. I reached out to the company who said the sandals were made of PVC and since they were worn there’s nothing they can do. AVOID at all costs, I’ve just wasted £80+

Their sizing is so hard to nail down. I thought they were cute sustainable sandals, but they wear down so fast. They are very comfortable, I just wish for the price they lasted longer

Love the 'comfort' style sandals, but they are NOT built to last. Fall apart within a few months. I tried to get their repair service (suspicious they even have one) but they said I was out of the terms and it was normal wear-and-tear.

Unfortunately a bit of a rip-off :(

UK buyers beware, on top of the £12 return shipping fee, customs & duties are not refunded for returned orders (I lost £35 in total for returning a £140 pair of sandals). When I placed the order there was no mention of these customs & duties being non-refundable on their UK website, FAQs or T&Cs. After I had raised the issue with their customer service they sneakily updated their website to add this in and refused to refund me these fees. In my experience of shopping with brands that ship from the EU this has never been the common practice. Honestly disappointed!

El 15 de Julio compre unas sandalias ( no de muy buena calidad, una suela muy fina). Las recibí me venía pequeñas y las devolvi con una etiqueta que costó 15€ para enviarlo por correos. He contactado en 3 ocasiones por mail y me dicen que su centro donde reciben las devoluciones en Países Bajos no las han escaneado aún incluso con un lenguaje al límite de la educación.
Estamos a 20 de agosto y no se nada aún.

I have unfortunately received different sandals to the ones I’ve ordered but this is fine - no business is blip free. How this was handled by ancient greek sandals is a different story. The customer service was very unhelpful and I had the impression I was chatting to a chat bot not a human customer service rep. I am schocked that brand still getting away with having customer service of such poor quality.

Hatte 2 Paar Sandalen zur Auswahl bestellt. Nach allen für die Rücksendung notwendig gemachten Angaben, konnte ich zunächst keinen Retourenschein ausdrucken. Dies war nach kontaktieren des Kundenservice über einen Link sofort möglich. Für die Retoure wurden 10.- Euro abgezogen, der Restbetrag sofort über Paypal zurückgezahlt. Ich bekam vom Kundenservice eine sehr nette Mail, in welcher sie sich dafür bedankten, dass die Sandalen keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren aufweisen.

I ordered a pair of sandals, too much expensive for the quality, 152 euros for a cheap kind of leather! Order came after 1,5 month! Bad experience.

Their sandals are super cute, but unfortunately, run a full size too small. This would be nice to state somewhere on their website considering how absolutely horrible the return process is. Twice I tried to pay the 10 euros for return shipping for none of them to go through. Sent an email to customer service (to their defense, very quick to reply!), but was told to just use Paypal. If I can use a credit card to buy the sandals, why can't I use it to return them? Whatever, I made a Paypal account, and originally wanted to exchange them for a bigger size. Couldn't do so because the option was taken away from me for some unknown reason. At this point, I don't care and I'm too frustrated to call them again. In the end, if you buy some sandals that fit you, great! But just be warned that if they don't, you'll have one hell of a time exchanging them for a bigger size or returning them. I will never try to buy anything from them again.

I purchased a pair of sandals from their website, and it was absolutely terrible. The order took a month to arrive instead of a week (and the shipping fee was 15€), and even then they had put the address wrong so I had to pick it up at a DHL pick-up location. The sandals were not the right size so I had to return them, but there were not return labels included in the package so I could not even return them right away. Now that I have seen what their sandals look like, I assure you they are expensive for no reason (mine cost 195€): the sole is extremely thin and clearly not strong enough to last long. The shipping service on their website is extremely bad and inefficient.
All in all, I would not recommend this brand to anyone.
