Probably the worst bank I’ve ever dealt…
Probably the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with, the app is terrible keeps crashing and not intuitive at all! The virtual bot is totally useless, unable to answer the most basic questions. I want to take my money elsewhere but I finding it extremely difficult to get this done as no one is answering the phone lines been on the call for over an hour! They really need to get their customers service system fixed or they’ll be losing customers! Very disappointed!

Customer service provided by Muhammad B was very good. He was very patient and helped me resolve my issues. The only disappointment is with the mobile banking system of Al Rayan Bank as a whole, the user interface greatly needs changing in terms of user functionality. Maybe invest in UX designer to improve on this. I was on the call 20 minutes waiting to connect just to change my password. All it was that my app needed to be downloaded again and I needed to reverify through a circular system of repeating the same information three times. The app should have regular and Automatic updates and with a simplified identity verification process. E.g send a link to registered email etc. But to end this review on a positive once connected, the help I received was positive, Alhamadulilah. Thank you Muhammad B!

Worst bank in uk
Almost impossible to do online banking. Also they make it Almost impossible to close accounts as i was advised to go to solicitors or post office to verify my passport so that I can send it to them so my account can be closed! Unbelievable! Will never bank with this cowboy Islamic bank!

Multiple attempts over past few months…
Multiple attempts over past few months to open an account, always freezes and then page cannot be displayed. I have now given up. How can this be a bank when its systems are so poor. Muslims are doing their best to avoid conventional banks however the alternative is this and its poor.

Great customer service
Great customer service. Muhammad Baig, especially, was by far the most patient customer advisor I have ever spoken to from the bank. Answered all my questions and was very respectful.

Frustrating App at Al Rayan Bank
At 94 years old, verbal communication is virtually impossible due to profound deafness and only partial eye sight. However, I am able to deal with several banks on line without difficulty but Al Rayan Bank defies all my efforts. With Digital Banking on their app not working, I and my wife are reluctant to invest further with a bank who otherwise provide a reasonable service.

Al Rayan bank have been helpful and in particular Muhammad Baig as an advisor!
He helped to rush though some paperwork for my elder mother! She is nearly 90 and doesn’t do online banking but we found a way she could get to her funds! I could highly recommend this bank for good interest rates and professionalism!
