If there was a minus to quote this app I would use it ! They are just theft ! I subscribed an abbonement on October but there was a crash in the site and I was not able to use the app as well. I called the consumer service more than once but they were not able to stop my abbonement and I am still paying it without the chance to use it . It is such a shame ! My suggestion do not subscribe they are thieves !!!

I've purchased an E-Gift Card: One-Year Membership to Alo Moves on 31.12.2024 expecting to present it to my wife.
25 days later:
- still no info on the data for the card = I can't use it,
- no answer on 6(!) mails and requests from my side,
- customer support chat doesn't work any time they claim to be available
- when calling, they drop your call

Absolutely worst experience I've ever had, pure shame.

Same experience as everyone here. I wish I had checked trustpilot before.
Paid 99$ through the Apple Store. It stil says my membership is not active.
I cannot state this enough: DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

Now I know I'm going to have spend days (if not weeks based on other reviews) trying to get my money back.

Terrible customer service…
They get back to you late and not do the opposite of what you ask…then you have to get back again and again…there are always days and days of gaps and you have to remind them of your requests…
I had a knee surgery in May and asked them to freeze my membership they said sure in the first place then asked for extra info of me. I didn’t notice that as I was on crutches for months on focused on recovery and thinking that the membership is frozen. They kept taking my money for like 8 months and they decided to only give back 3 cause “that’s what their system allows”. Now of course they are not getting back to me again….I’ll ask again, why do you think you are entitled to that money. You should earn it and not take advantage of people, it’s really disgusting. I wanted to continue with you guys but not after this…

I paid 99 Euro and my membership has never been activated. The Costumer Service is not responding for more than 10 days now. I read the other reviews and will try to get my money back via apple now as well. It’s a pity because I really loved the content of the app.

The classes are great, but their customer service is basically non-existent. I was charged a small fee a few weeks after my annual membership fee was charged. I received no email with an explanation and do not see it in my account. I emailed back and forth with them for a month. Every email seemed to open a new case which, in my experience, means someone is closing my original case without doing anything.

I finally called into their toll free number and it seems that they contract to a third party company that does not have full access to your account so actually can't do anything. His explanation was to talk to my bank bc it was their error. No... Alo charged me without my permission so they now expect me to trust them with a credit card on file so I get to watch my statement every month to make sure they don't charge me again?

I had a extreamly upsetting experience with an online order.
After a long wait I got the wrong size and when I reached out to the customer service they were very unhelpfull and road

SCAM!!! I subscribed for an initial free trial and they took 99$ from my account straight away. On top of that the application has never worked and if I tried to watch a Yoga , would ask me to subscribe again.

I tried to get in touch with customer service, but they either do not reply or send nonsense replies that do not address the issue at all.

I managed to get the money back as I opened a case through the Apple Store.

This app may seem incredible at first, but their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. I paid for a subscription on December 25th, but the app still shows that I haven’t paid. I contacted them via email every day for 5 days, but nobody got back to me. I also reached out through Facebook and Instagram, but no one responded there either. Finally, I called, and I have been calling them every day from 2024 to 2025, but after many days, they still couldn’t solve my problem. They gave me a code to unlock my website, but in the end, they were still trying to make me pay—like, what the hell? The management is extremely poor! Does this company really pay their employees for doing nothing? Perhaps it’s time for the director to take a look at this situation, fire some useless staff, and hire decent customer service representatives! I ended up asking Apple for a refund because I am just too tired to deal with untrained customer service.

You all have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I had to spend over an hour on the phone/hold with your company to get a refund for an unauthorized charge to my cc. You literally tried to steal my money. Your google reviews are trash and echo the same sentiments of your dishonesty in billing and what a nightmare it is to get money back. You all should be ashamed and embarrassed.

I tried to get the black friday offer at 79,9$ but it doesnt work, Wien you try as i downloaded the app first brings me there and the offer is not available.Frnaky it is annoying and i Donat think is legal in Europe

I am a university student and I am try to get the offer they have. I couldn’t do it cause it didn’t work and I have written to the customer care team but they haven’t helped me at all

I wish I saw this page before I paid up for their lifelong membership of $99.
The a membership on the app still says it wil expire 1 year later, after talking back and forth to their customer service who has stopped replying. There is no way to reach them and I sure the subscription will get disabled next year instead of an extended period.

Subscribing on Apple Pay is not a good idea with these guys.

Unfortunately for the instructors and the content, the app is extremely poorly managed.

Feels like a scam.

I signed up for membership via Apple paying $20/month for nearly a year only to find out that membership on the website is only $13/month. Furthermore, I could only use the app on my phone since I signed up with Apple and I could not log into the website on the computer. Finally, when I tried to chat with somebody about this, chat box doesn't work. It kept closing and nothing got resolved. Great videos and selection, but terrible implementation and zero service.

It is my opinion that all subscription-based services should be ultimately judged by how easy or difficult it is to cancel the subscription.

With Alo Moves the experience was so bad, I had to laugh about it. I cancelled in the app, but was continuing to be billed, thus began my long email experience with customer service.

I got emails in reply to other users, I got emails assuring me my billing had been cancelled, when I screen-shotted them the next time they billed me even though they had assured me I wouldn't be, I was about six or seven emails deep before anyone even took my account details...

Hanlon's razor hopefully applied to this team, but either way it was a one star experience.

I just got a membership in late 2023 and i am loving it. There is a wide range of classes for a reasonable annual fee, and once i figured out how the Appke "airplay" streaming worked I can now get the classes on my ROKU channel. Especially like Emily Sferra, Laura Quinn and Biana Wise.

Girls don't get it,I've bought so many clothes from, they don't wash well at all. They look like homeless ppl clothing after 3 washes.
They make them look beautiful & trendy in photo but they aren't worth it

I signed up for a trial and immediately hated the AppleTV app. You cannot filter by difficulty, style or intensity on the AppleTV app. There are options in the navigation for these filters but they simply say "all (styles, difficulty or intensity) which literally makes those navigation options (and the app, imo) utterly useless. I literally reached out within an hour of signing and asked them to cancel my trial.

Great if you want to market that you have "thousands of classes" but if you make it impossible for the user to find classes that suit them then your app sucks.
I was looking for yoga and it took me a while to find one because I had to scroll through Pilates and other classes that I wasn't looking to take. Then landed on a random yoga class after ten minutes. It was okay. Not great. Not terrible.

Maybe it is an AppleTV thing and their iPad, iPhone, web app is better. I wouldn't know. I am looking for an AppleTV app and this is the worse I've seen. I have trialed quite a few recently.

It's a shame when the content is overshadowed by a bad user experience. Do better, Alo Moves.

I loved some of the videos and instructors, but this company has no respect for its long-term customers.
I purchased the annual membership with a '50% lifetime' discount, but when i wanted to renew it with the discount applied, they told me "i am too late as it only applies to memberships which are continuously active". Funny thing is that I asked them just 1 day after my membership ended.
Ridiculous. It took weeks to clarify the situation, by the end of which I really do not want to invest my money in this.

After being a loyal customer over years Alo did charged me more this year. I was writing customer care to receive a promotion for 50% discount lifetime in 2022. Worked until now. No answer back! I am really disappointed of how alo treat the customer. There a more apps and even the classes were nice I will not come back for the full price as there are other companies out there treating customers better!!!
