Incompetent service and overcharging

I requested a simple fuse replacement for my dishwasher, as it needed to be fixed urgently following the recent arrival of my baby. I clearly explained the issue to your booking team in advance and specified the part required.

During the visit, the electrician attended, briefly assessed the issue, and confirmed that the fuse needed replacing — which had already been communicated. He stated that he did not have the part and would return the following day. However, he did not return, and there was no follow-up.

Instead, I received an invoice the next day charging me for identifying the fault. When I queried this, I was informed that the repair would only be completed if I paid for the initial attendance, effectively charging me twice for a straightforward job that had already been clearly explained.

This is completely unacceptable. There was no consideration for the urgency of the situation, and the level of service provided has been very poor.

I would not recommend this service based on my experience.

Locksmith came and was done within an hour, great job

I called a landline number on 26th May to say I needed some electrical items to be PAT tested as a matter of urgency as my band had an upcoming gig on the 27th and the organisers required a PAT certificate. I stressed that this must be done the following morning and was assured that someone would call me before 11am next day and do the testing. I wanted to be doubly sure and rang back an hour later, and was told the same thing.
Next morning no one called and so I had to find another electrician to come and do the testing. The day after my gig, on the afternoon of the 28th, a man called Ahmet turned up at my house saying he’d come to do the PAT testing. I told him he was more than a day too late. Since then I have been harassed by this company for non-payment of an invoice that I’ve never received and which they had no right to even raise.
I then received several texts and WhatsApp messages from unrecognised mobile numbers referring to an unpaid invoice. The sender did not identify him or herself. I replied to the first two or three messages to say I did not have any invoice to pay, and that I owed them nothing. I then had a voicemail from them and called back but with no reply. When they persisted messaging I blocked the number and then received an impertinent reply from a different mobile number saying -
“What makes your cell unreachable at all times? Did you block me?”
By this time I figured this was a scammer since we don’t use the term “cell” for mobile phones in this country. I blocked this number but they have continued to harass me as recently as today with a phone call about an “unpaid invoice”, still never received by the way. I’ve been very clear that if they pursue me any further I will report them to the police under the Protection from Harassment Act, 1997.

We had a key jammed in a lock. They came in less than an hour and fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes. Knowledgeable people and excellent, friendly service.

Tom, who handled my call, was excellent. He was polite, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the process. In fact, I specifically complimented him on the quality of his customer service.

Unfortunately, the experience was undermined when the locksmith arrived at the property. He was quite abrupt and insisted that the quoted price was per lock. However, before booking, I had explicitly asked Tom what the quoted price covered. To avoid any misunderstanding, I called Tom directly in front of the locksmith and put the call on speakerphone so we could both hear Tom confirm the agreed price.

The locksmith appeared unhappy about this and only reluctantly carried out the work. His attitude and lack of customer service left a very poor impression and significantly detracted from what had otherwise been a positive experience.

What concerns me most is that this situation could easily have ended very differently. Had I not taken the time to confirm the pricing upfront, or had I not felt confident enough to challenge the locksmith’s interpretation of the quote, I may have ended up paying substantially more than expected. While I cannot comment on whether this has happened to other customers, the experience left me with the impression that a less confident customer could have felt pressured into accepting additional charges. That is not the kind of experience customers should have when they are already dealing with a stressful situation and relying on clear, honest communication.

Absolutely appalling service and after customer service
Called out to a job that was actually made worse after the ‘locksmith’ came.
Reached out several times after, came again and repair still not fit for purpose. No offer of a refund.
Had to get another tradesman in eventually.

My issue was resolved on the morning of my enquiry which was great. If there was a downside it that I had a new lock fitted by yourselves in November’25 and it stopped working in June. Because I was past the 6 months guarantee I had to pay £70 to have it fixed. I was disappointed that a lock should become faulty in 7 months when my previous lock lasted nearly 40 years.

The locksmith arrived on time and completed the work swiftly

Well organised from first phone call. The lady was quick, efficient and she was able to give us a price for the job straight away.

Edward (apologies if I have mis-remembered your name!) was excellent. He was super friendly and professional. He clearly was experienced and had our front door open again in minutes after locking ourselves out with another set of keys still in on the other side!

The price was excellent for an emergency callout on a Sunday.

Highly recommended.

The job was done quickly and without fuss or mess on a Sunday afternoon. Although there was a small delay in the timing of the actual visit, it was caused by traffic. I was impressed that someone could come at that time at all at really short notice. Very polite and cheerful and it was all fixed in no time.

My lock problem was dealt with very quickly following my initial phone call. Very pleased with the service. Thank you.

Speedy response and no arguments over replacing a faulty lock even after 3 months

Sammi and Lucas upgraded my fusebox, mounted an outdoor wall lamp and performed an EICR certificate all very timely and professionally. They were very friendly, and delivered the job much better than I’m used to.

this is a fraudulent company do not interact with them.

The technician who arrived was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, he was not able to solve the problem, explaining that the only way to get the hot water to flow properly was to install a booster pump. I asked him to arrange for you to quote me for this job, but I never received any response. Fortunately, I was able to locate a local self-employed plumber to undertake this task.

A friendly fast efficient service.
Work completed quickly with no damage or mess.

Poor communication and no follow-through. I called and clearly explained the issue, then received a call from an engineer asking me to explain it all over again. I followed up by sending a WhatsApp video so there would be no further confusion. When the engineer arrived, it was a completely different person who had no knowledge of the issue whatsoever, leaving me to explain everything for a third time.
He then informed me that the job was not something that could be done that day, and that the company would be in touch with a quote. Before leaving, he asked me to pay the callout fee on the spot.
That call never came. I am still waiting for the quote.
Paid for a callout, got nothing done, and never heard back. If that's not a stitch up, I don't know what is.
