Started great from the start via and behind the keyboard but in person incompetence and simply negligence occurred. Performance car was wrecked by Alloy Fix LTd as car jack was placed under the sill and destroyed the whole underside then they placed smaller wheels at the rear with force which caused large callipers to be distorted and caused pads to rub against disk. It was just one nightmare after another and despite pictures and facts, they are denying all the wrongdoing. Not even apology from them! Strongly advise to stay away from these cowboys

NEGLIGENT the Hemel Hempstead branch let me leave with one front locking wheel nut bolt missing and one other bolt missing on a Mercedes AMG.
And I would never of known if my car wasn’t grinding. Thank god the grinding brought my attention to the bolts missing as i could be dead now. This place is meant to be alloy fix but you can drive off and kill yourself. This place is shocking my experience was bad from start to finish and the directors deflect from any accountability by blaming it on one of them freak accidents because they don’t know how it happened. Do not let these people touch your car.

I’ve had all the wheels on our Range Rover Evoque refurbed. The full process was thoroughly explained to us and we chose Powder Coat finish without the diamond cut.
From the moment we arrived we were looked after. We felt truly pampered, our fears of runaway costs about buckled wheels etc. each and every wheel was tested by a technician in front of us. Thanks to Sam and the guys a perfect job.

took my rough a class wheels to alloy fix romford they were in a bad state buckled warped ect ,,, they corrected all the issues with the wheels and powder coated them in satin black , when i went to collect they looked brand new out of the box , i would 100% recommend these guys , will use again in the future thanks again to the guys at alloy fix

Absolutely rubbish!!!

Messaged through the website an enquiry and got an email back about getting the wheel booked in but then I found out from the tyre shop my wheel was worse than we thought so I called them and explained (on the Saturday) and they said bring it first thing Monday and will fix it in a couple days and reprice it. Came Monday and they are moaning about the colour, I said I know you’ll never match it and I’m not having all 4 wheels done as I’ll be selling the car soon. After a lot of waffle and the dude not sure if he’s fixing it I just had to walk away and use someone else. Even they said we can’t match the colour but if you don’t care then will do it

Fixed my wheel on he spot. It was only something very minor so they did not charge me. Very pleased with their service. Repair was completely successful.

I don't often leave reviews, however, on this occasion I had to. After purchasing my new car the alloys left a lot to be desired and needed a full refurbishment. I contacted Alloy fix and dealt with Sam who looked after me all the way through the process. Whilst undertaking the refurbishment it was discovered that my alloys were also buckled. Sam and Alloy Fix, sorted the problem, and my wheel came back looking brand new - in a shiny pearlescent white just as requested. I cannot fault this company for the work that they did and the care that they took not only to complete the work but to keep me updated on the process. I would and have recommended Sam and the team to my friends. Thank you, I will be back with my next set of wheels very soon.

This company thinks they’re very smart, but they’re just ripping you off. I thought I’d give them a try to refurbish my alloys, but they’re nothing but liars.

Initially, they quoted me £450. But when they took my wheels off my car, they told me they were buckled and needed more work, which nudged the cost up to £650.

I had previously had my vehicle serviced by Mercedes themselves, who always do a thorough job. Mercedes would have advised me if there were any issues with my rims, so I knew Alloy-Fix were lying.

To make matters worse, I had to deal with a very rude ‘grease monkey’ boy from their team of the Romford branch who chose to get a bit lippy with me when I realised that my tyre caps had been switched from my original MB ones to some cheap plastic alternatives.

Avoid these guys at all costs. They’re unprofessional and have terrible customer service skills.

Got two wheels refurbished on my partners car. These guys are very knowledgeable, friendly and did a top notch job. Would highly recommend.

Recently had both my alloys fully refurbed. I have had them done before from various places but this was done to perfection here at Alloy Fix (Dartford). The whole process was easy enough. I had the luxury in leaving my alloys with them, as I use my car daily.

Booked in for refurbishment. Cost me £670 and 9days for the first two wheels and 7days for the last two( so no car). First two needed repairs and apparently already cracked ( awaiting on report as the crack was too big to hold the air). All 4 wheels were far away from repaired, with scratches, paint off, lumps, silver paint when they needed to be black,plus they damaged one of the tyre. Them answer on collection day was that I have warranty and I can use it. And the tyre wasn’t damaged by them despite the proof of the tyre before dropping off.
They won’t admit to nothing because they know the court is too expensive but surprise! I will keep you updated on social media after a few months

I had my wheels refurbished and while the customer service itself was friendly and professional, the overall experience left me quite disappointed.

The quoted price started at £340, which I felt was a fair price, but the add-ons quickly stacked up. I was told I’d either have to remove my own rims or pay extra to either leave my car or use loan wheels which felt unfair given the nature of the service. Then, during inspection, I was told there would be an extra £70 per wheel for buckle repairs, which applied to all four wheels. This added another £280 to the cost, and it felt like this was something they already anticipated but only revealed once the car was in their hands.

By the end, what should have been a straightforward wheel refurb ended up feeling like a process of being farmed for add-on fees. While the team were polite throughout, the pricing structure left me feeling upset and that the service simply wasn’t worth the money. The rims themselves came out very nice and do look new but for the end price I could’ve bought brand new rims for cheaper!

4 alloys, 12 years wear and tear. Alloy Fix showed me the repair needs and all work and pricing was agreed before commencing. The service and finish is very good and I would be happy to use them again in the future.

Second time I’ve used Alloy Fix Ltd at Romford, this time a refurb of four wheels that required welding as well as straightening!! Same 💯 result. Professional repairs with a guarantee, whats not to like.
