Couldn’t have had a worse experience at the Cranbrook grange development back in October. Lack of knowledge, lack of professionalism, pushy sales team that do not work with their customers (I believe there is a new sales team now). First time buyers please just be wary before reserving a property with Alison Homes as there was multiple misinformation and incorrect paperwork. We were pushed to try exchange within 2 weeks of reserving the property. Their recommended solicitor was equally pretty useless, we had no chance to even raise enquiries and was expected to exchange in 24hours or our incentives were taken away with no warning of this and did not follow their own reservation form contract which stated exchange would take place 4 weeks after reserving. Was the most intense and stressful period that we had to deal with as FTB but over anything we are so thankful that this happened or we wouldn’t be in our beautiful Bellway home which was seamless start to finish.

We have a leaky balcony which they refuse to fix despite they acknowledged they were at fault for the cause but refuse to fix. Awful customer service and would not recommend. During the snagging (of which there we loads) they neglected to notify me to inform the warranty insurer and didn’t submit a list themselves so I can’t even use our 10 year warranty. Using this company has been a nightmare.

We’re just about ready to exchange contracts on our new home at Beaufort Gardens and I had been blown away by the service we’ve received! From Angie in sales at the show home to the progress chasers at head office (namely Laura and Bradley!).
Everybody in whom I’ve had contact with has been so incredibly helpful and has genuinely made the process of buying our new home, seamless!
Buying a home can be stressful but I know the team are working so hard behind the scenes to make things so easy for us and we couldn’t appreciate it more. Especially all the hard work Bradley is doing for us in the background as he has been on it! Our case wasn’t as straightforward as most but Bradley has been in contact with regular updates and has been an absolute god send when I just needed to touch base with somebody. I could not recommend this team enough! Incredible service. Thank you everyone! :)
I also just wanted to add a note about Chloe and Grant who have been nothing but AMAZING. Chloe is our relationship manager and Grant is our site manager and their help along the way has honestly meant the world to us. We couldn’t be more grateful for the team!

I honestly don’t have enough words to express just how grateful we are for Faye and everything she has done for us over the past few months. From day one, she has been nothing short of incredible.
As our After Sales Care Coordinator, Faye has always been there for us; no matter the question, no matter the time. Whether we needed reassurance, guidance, or help resolving something, she was always at the end of the phone with patience, kindness, and genuine care. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she consistently went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported.
Buying a home can be stressful at times, but having Faye there made all the difference. She doesn’t just do her job, she cares, and that is clear through in everything she does.
Faye is an absolute credit to Allison Homes. We are so sad to be losing her, as we venture past our snags but we feel very fortunate to have had her support during our journey.

For some reason i was unable to edit my previous review about our flooring. So this is my update:
Allison Homes responded saying that they would send cleaners round, but this was the 7th visit about it. And cleaners had attended previously.
You "recommended" to not be taken to small claims court, because you knew that you'd lose. Hilarious that you think members of the public would fall for this.
We ended up taking Allison Homes to Small Claims court and won. If you just resolved the flooring issue, you would have had much better ratings from myself, and would have recommended you to friends and family. This ended up costing you more money and poor reviews. As a company you should think about this impact before ignoring emails.
The staff (Roxy) was very welcoming and clear.

Claire and Tracy have been absolutely incredible throughout our house-buying journey at Cranbrook Grange. As first-time buyers, we were understandably nervous, but they talked us through every step of the process, answering all of our questions with compassion, patience and genuine care. No question ever felt too small, and if they weren’t immediately sure of something, they did everything possible to find out quickly.
We hadn’t originally planned to buy a new-build property, but the ease of the process, the quality of the homes we viewed, and the openness and approachability of the site team completely changed our minds. Although our chosen house type doesn’t have a show home on site, Claire kindly arranged for us to view a show home at a nearby development, which was hugely helpful.
During our reservation meeting, Claire took the time to carefully talk us through every plan and document, ensuring we fully understood each stage. As our home has not yet been built, we were able to make a number of choices around tiles, kitchens and flooring. Claire was incredibly supportive throughout this, taking as much time as needed to guide us through the options and patiently answering our many questions. Tracey and Claire also took the time to carefully talk us through any legal jargon, breaking everything down in a clear and understandable way, which was incredibly reassuring as first-time buyers.
We’ve also really appreciated the regular updates on the build progress, which have kept us informed and added to the excitement. Now that we have exchanged, we are so excited for our new home and cannot thank Claire and Tracy enough. We feel extremely lucky to have had their support and expertise throughout this process - and although we have a few more months to wait for our home, we know we will have the support and regular updates all the way to completion!

I moved into my new home at Beaufort Gardens in Market Deeping just before Christmas, after reserving the plot back in July.
Angie, the Sales Executive, has been very accommodating from the beginning and is always welcoming when you visit the sales office. Angie went out of her way to source the upgrades that I requested. Angie is very hardworking and clearly dedicated to her job.
I was very impressed with the wide choice of fixtures and fittings there are to choose from and it was difficult to choose from such a great selection.
Since moving into my new home, the after sales service has exceeded my expectations. Staff on site, as well as the customer service team, all made contact to ensure everything was working before the Christmas shutdown.
Chloe, the Customer Experience Manager, checks in regularly and visits you in person to see if all is well in your new home.
Grant, The Assistant Site Manager, is a familiar face on site and is very hands on in his role. Grant is proactive in sorting out any snagging issues.
The staff at Beaufort Gardens are all very friendly and address you by your first name, which is a nice personal touch.

An absolute joke of a company. Me and my partner were In negotiations about buying a plot at the Oaks site in Postwick Norwich . On a few occasions a deal was proposed to us by sales staff. It was first approved by the regional sales manager. However it would not get MD /board approval. Why even propose these deals to a customer if they can't actually be done ??. We understand if it's the first time but when this happened on more than a two occasions ?? We wasn't even asking much more from what they could originally do for us . It was nothing ridiculous, otherwise the regional sales manager would not have approved it.
Eventually we got fed up with going back and forth on negotiation, and decided to just agree on the original deal the MD was happy to sign off. It took over 48 hours to get an answer and it requires us chasing for updates .
So thinking we could actually finally reserve this plot , we were again told it had to put forward to the sales manager and board approval again so more time waiting and wasted. So after all that we was shocked to be told the deal the MD was "happy with agreeing to" couldn't be done after all this time.
How does a company conduct their business like this if they can't even honour something or keep to their word especially from someone at the very top of the company. Their reason was they had hit certain targets they didn't want do it anymore . Is this a good way to do business with a serious customer?? A company that cannot keep it's word . Where is the element of trust, integrity and honesty.
It has totally ruined me and my partners plans and dreams of a house purchase at the site.
We would advise to anybody that has reserved to be very cautious and careful as they'll more than likely change their minds afterwards or back track on what was originally agreed. If you value honesty, trust and integrity look elsewhere especially with a such big and important purchase as a house.

We've just signed our reservation contract for a plot at the Beaufort Garden Development in Market Deeping. Angie, the sales manager, has really been phenomenal. From the moment we popped in randomly last week to check what was available to the signature of the reservation contract today, she has been super responsive, always called us for an update when she said she would, and processed all the paperwork efficiently. Made this a very pleasant process so far and we're excited for the next steps !

I visited the homes in Somersham, and this was my first time viewing any properties since I began considering a change from my current housing. I had very little understanding of what I could or couldn’t do, or how the process worked, so I asked a lot of questions.
Tracy and Clair were incredibly kind and patient throughout. Their warmth and professionalism instantly put me at ease, especially as someone completely new to this process. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and answered every question with genuine care. I honestly cannot compliment them enough. Their friendly and approachable manner made a big difference and turned what I expected to be a stressful experience into a very positive one.
