The flat was very comfortable but is showing signs of wear in places. The shower room floor needs re tiling badly.

We have booked through Aldeburgh Coastal cottage several times.
The booking process is straightforward and we have not had any problem with any of the cottages we have stayed in.

Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages were efficient at every points of contact - when booking and when we arrived at the cottage and needed guidance with an issue.

The position of the apartment is excellent: a stone’s throw from the beach and also the town. It’s a perfect location if you are car- free but there is secure parking provided for one car if needed.
The apartment is light, spacious and comfortable, equipped with all you might need. The beds are comfortable too; the third bedroom is very small but the bed will accommodate one adult if needed.
We always love visiting the bookshop ( temptation just round the corner!) as well as eating in a couple of Aldeburgh’s excellent restaurants. The Lighthouse is recommended and is two minutes away from Seascape.
We had a very minor problem- the control to access the parking space didn’t work. The team responded very quickly indeed and the problem was resolved.
All in all, this is an excellent place to stay.

Best place we have stayed in at Aldeburgh after many years of visiting. The flat was spotless warm and comfortable and our three visits to the Lighthouse restaurant rounded off an excellent holiday!

Good location, very clean, well decorated. A little tired in places (paintwork, bath tub), dishwasher not working, no books or magazines except cook books, no salt and pepper etc.

We have booked with Aldeburgh Coastal many times and have always found them so friendly extremely helpful and lovely cottages.

The cottage was great, parking, plenty of room & a small courtyard garden. There were a couple of hiccups - the promised bbq wasn’t there, but it only took a phone call, and one was delivered.
This biggest problem we had was the dishwasher. When we went to use a plate, it was obviously not clean, none of them were, so we put them all in the dishwasher, left it to wash them, came back, still dirty & a cold machine. Another phone call, and the engineer came while we were out, & did just as we had done, put it on a cycle & left it - still a cold machine, the message hadn’t been passed on correctly. The next day, a part was ordered & all was well. The problem we have is that, housekeeping obviously didn’t check that the crockery was clean, & our original message was not passed on correctly . We do not go on holiday to wash a whole cupboard full of crockery.’

Great Apartment,
Clean and spacious, excellent condition and very comfortable.
Perfect position for Beach Shops and Restaurants.
Booking and information excellent.
The only downside the parking space only for very small car.

Aldeburgh costal cottages are a breath of fresh air. I have been lucky enough to stay with them at two holiday lets this season and on both occasions they couldn’t have done more. From contacting us early to advise an early check in, to posting on lost glasses. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company who knows the area and employ the services of locals. Outstanding, thank you. ☺️

Communication was good. Regatta apartment was first rate & we really appreciated the phone call to let us know that it had been cleaned & was available early. A thoughtful touch.

The property sits in an excellent location on the banks of the mere, with its own rowing boat. There is a lovely summer house from where we looked out on swans gliding in the water.
It had enough room for our extended family break and was in great condition.
We will be wanting to book this property again and that’s proof of how nice it is.

Excellent compnay to deal with. Good communication , they even rang on check in day to say the property was ready and we could arrive at any time.
