Great holiday let.
Spotlessly clean. Well appointed and very spacious and comfortable.
Would absolutely stay again.

The only downside was the resident in a neighbouring cottage continuously parking in one of the allocated parking spots for the Lodge (despite having their own spot). This was annoying as it caused inconvenience un/loading each day due to where/how they’d parked.

Thankfully we only had one car. Had we had two cars (for the Lodge’s two allocated spaces), this would have become a bigger issue and somewhat of a distraction to our holiday.

The location was great and we had a lovely time. The house was filled with loads of stuff but no hairdryer. There was a broken tea trolley, numerous dusty artificial flowers and footstools. Carpets scuffed at doorways, bit of a trip hazard. Hall carpet dirty. The double bed I slept in had two toppers and was lumpy, suggest bed(s) replaced. We laughed about it and the location outweighed the weirdness of the house.

We loved the cottage and the little garden room was a nice addition. Distance to the town/sea front was really good - 2 minute walk. The lounge, dining rome and kitchen were open plan and felt nice and spacious and the little porch was a brilliant place to kick off sandy shoes and leaving bags when returning from the beach . All in all a great holiday cottage.

The apartment is centrally located, very cosy, and was spotlessly clean throughout. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the pots and pans provided in the kitchen. But this may be caused by former guests.

The beds were very worn and unfortunately quite uncomfortable.

Although the apartment sleeps four people, there are only two chairs at the dining table, making it difficult for more than two guests to eat together. We would recommend providing two additional chairs.

Very easy to book with Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages, Dower House was very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing location and very spacious, comfortable property. Definitely book again.

Great cottage weekend
Easy access anytime after 4pm with key safe. Comfortable bed. Fridge cold on arrival. Everything was clean as usual.

Great place to stay we have stayed there before, ideal place for us to stay as the stay was for a family wedding and the church was only around the corner

The Turret house accommodation was perfect everything was first class, clean and every comfort for our stay.

The house was perfectly located. Close to High Street and beach. It was clean and well maintained. Rooms were comfortable and spacious enough to accommodate 6 adults. Just a couple of things.The operating manual for the washer/dryer is missing. Also the bottom outside step is loose.

No problems all ran smoothly and the accommodation suited us very well. We know Thorpeness and it is perfectly positioned, for the lake, cafes, pub or a walk into Aldeburgh
The lodge itself is modern, comfortable and well equipped. This is our second visit and we hope to return.

Really friendly, helpful team. Booking was simple and everything went to plan. The cottage was exactly as described and seemed to have had some fresh new blinds and cushions since I last stayed there a year ago.
10 Hertford place is in an enviable position. Near the sea, the chippy and the pub. What more could you want on holiday .

This is the second time I have stayed at the Bakery apartment. It's spacious and light and in an incredible location. The apartment is pretty modern but has a lived-in feel and has most of the essentials that you need for a family holiday.

Location near the town made access to shops and restaurants easy. Cooking facilities meant we could enjoy the local produce.
Comfortable bed. Sofa not that comfortable.

Lovely flat, everything needed at hand, a great location for amenities, food drink etc and a good base for out and about trips and car parking a good bonus mind you the weather did help beautiful 👍

Lovely cottage beautifully presented very relaxing. So close to Aldeburgh. Snape Orford Sutton Hoo Dunwich Heath Southwold. Fabulous kitchen for keen cooks Pretty garden for coffee and wine o’clock moments. Thoroughly recommend have been three times now

We booked a property at very short notice and the process was very efficient. We then stupidly left something behind which the team retrieved and sent back to us. Very good service!
