My biggest mistake was not to check this disgusting company out before booking my ticket but I needed to travel in a hurry. Like all the other unfortunate people who have been scammed by this rip off company, I was also told after I had paid for my ticket that the seat at that price was no longer available and it would cost nearly an extra £300. I was being pressured into paying the extra but this put me off so I decided to cancel the ticket and look elsewhere. I was sent an email confirming I would receive a full refund but it would take 21 days. That time has now long passed and despite phone calls and emails full of empty assurances and false apologies I am still waiting for my refund. Apparently the delay is with their ‘payment provider and supplier.’ The money was paid directly to Airwaays, not a 3rd party.
I shall be contacting my bank to raise a dispute and ATOL about an unacceptable service provider .
I agree with all in a similar situation that the positive reviews are all false as it is so hard to believe that a company could be so wonderful one day yet such complete scammers the next.

I wish i can give Zero stars to them
Hi searched for ticket on cheapflights for BHX-KTM for 31/5 and return in 15/6
The cheapest quote i got was from airwaay.co.uk and i paid and made booking.
I didnt got my ticket and in few days time but got a call from someone named Leo Williams of airwaay.co.uk saying that i have to add money to get ticket, very suprising. They said price gone up. I asked for refund which they told will come in 5 weeks.
I checked in other websites but the price was same and i booked
That refund never came and hasnt came yet. I have called airwaay.co.uk and they always make diferent stories but never return my money.
I feel that airwaay.co.uk is a scam travel agent.
I am surprised that flight search portals keeps them and shows their quote in search and customers like me are troubled.
Please help me in getting my refund

Airwaay are nothing short of thieves.
Book and Pay for your flights, then you don’t revive your E ticket. After numerous phone calls call, ignored emails. You get through to someone in a call centre who can just about string a sentence together.
Informing you that the return part of your trip has not been booked. No fault of mine. Then they charged me £127 per person.
Return journey exactly the same flight number. I am in the process of reporting this Company to the relevant authorities.
Just look at the reviews, the money they have swindled off people.

I try to write to website who promote too. And complain to ATOL. And finally my bank had interfered and got my refund after 3+ months. Absolutely pathetic. Not sure how they survived. Pls pls pls don’t book anything with them.

I appreciate receiving a reply within 24 hours of this review—especially after many of my previous emails had gone unanswered for a considerable period. Unfortunately, several of my messages were completely ignored.
Between December , 2024, and February, 2025, I sent over 20 emails regarding the refund process. Despite assurances that the refund would be processed within 7–10 days, there was a lack of response to many of those communications.
Yes, it ultimately took just over two months—not three—to receive my refund, but it required persistent follow-up and numerous email exchanges.
If you’re comfortable waiting more than two months to be reimbursed for an airline ticket that was never issued—while potentially needing to repurchase the same ticket through another source to salvage your travel plans—and are prepared to send repeated follow-ups just to recover your hard-earned money, or postpone your travel plans for 2 months until you get your money back, then booking with this company may still be a viable option for you.
For transparency, I had also initiated a dispute resolution with my bank, which I later closed after finally receiving the refund from the company

Airwaays conniving thieves
These Airwaays people will give you a ticket nicely but when you cancel in time, they strip you of your money. I got two tickets to Africa in January worth £1100.66 from them but when i canceled the trip in time, they told me they cannot refund me the money but can only refund me £248 only. Can you imagine the loss i had to incur. To top it all they make you sign for it so you can never dispute it and till now its been 3 months, i have not yet received the refund, all i get are excuses and delays. Please im begging you if you want wats best for you choose somewhere else to get your flight ticket for you otherwise you will be sorry for yourself. Airwaays are conniving thieves.
