This is a scam site, I booked a car here but when I got to the company the company said this site is a scam they haven't worked with us for a long time because they work very badly and are unprofessional. I texted them to refund me. They replied that they took the money and didn't return it. These are robbers. 165 dollars is not much but if you take money so immorally then your family, children and parents will suffer the punishment of God.

Effing useless customer service
So, so poor. Facilitated a car hire booking at Launceston Airport with Ace Car Rentals for 4pm pick up. When we arrived to collect the car, Ace Car Rentals was closed. They close at 4pm. So why on earth did AirportRentals facilitate a booking for a time when the business would be closed to customers?
AirportRentals, in their response to this review said that there was a phone number on the booking voucher. Yes there is - for Ace Car Rentals.
But because we booked with AirportRentals we couldn't resolve the issue direct with the car hire business - we had to go through AirportRentals. For whom there was NO contact phone number. Rather disingenuous of AirportRentals to suggest we could have telephoned them.
With no way to actually talk to them, we resorted to using live chat only to get conflicting information....a vehicle is on its way, whoops sorry there now is no vehicle, sort it out yourselves.
Absolutely useless company that delivered ZERO useful customer service.
And to clarify their response, yes we did get a car - but only because someone at the airport informed us that we could approach Hertz and they would facilitate a car rental with the same booking information.
Avoid!
** Can AirportRentals or Ace Car Rentals explain why the payment from our credit card account was deducted by Bargain Car Hire?

We’d like to clarify a few points. Your booking confirmation voucher includes both the supplier contact details and our support contact number. Under the pick-up instructions, it also states that Ace Rental Cars is operated by the Hertz Group, which explains why you were assisted at the Hertz counter.
We understand your concern regarding contacting us, and a member of our team will reach out to you directly to guide you on where this information is located on your voucher and address any remaining questions.
In relation to the charge from Bargain Car Hire, we can confirm that we do not store or share customers’ card details. As your booking was not with Bargain Car Hire, we would recommend contacting them directly to clarify this charge.

DO NOT USE Airport Rentals.
They are just a booking platform who took a $95 deposit which the car company we rented from (East Coast Rentals), said that they had never received from Airport Rentals.
We paid Airport rentals for insurance but were then charged more by East Coast Rentals who said Airport Rentals never honour the insurance. We had to buy further insurance from East Coast as the insurance we bought through Airport Rentals was worthless.
East coast said Airport Rentals is an overseas firm that they had never been able to collect from.
I should have just gone straight to a local company like Budget, East Coast Rentals or Hertz and skipped Airport Rentals. My mistake, one I will never make again.

We would also like to clarify that we are not an overseas company. We are a New Zealand-based business with offices in multiple locations, and we have been working in partnership with East Coast Car Rentals for over a decade. We will be following up internally to understand why incorrect information may have been communicated to you.
In relation to insurance, our website & confirmation emails clearly outline that the protection purchased is provided by a third-party insurer (RentalCover). This policy is designed to refund your excess in the event of damage, and customers are not required to purchase additional protection offered by the rental provider. However, rental companies may still offer their own cover at the counter as an optional extra.
We would appreciate the opportunity to review this further. Please provide your booking reference starting with an IM or the name the reservation was made under so we can investigate and assist you directly.
