This AirportLostAndFound.com website where you submit a report of an item is lost at the airport is truly a scam and you're charged $37.00 USD. I realized how stupid I was to fall for it when I submitted 2 Claims about my black 30" luggage along with its contents being stolen at the San Francisco Airport. I made a 2nd Claim submission after not seeing my Claim in the Claim Browser list. When you submit the Claim, you get a PayPal Receipt from the Service Paypal email addr from a Mark Jakubczak (claims@airportslostandfound). I have not heard from this person at all and these Claims were submitted a month ago. How do we see if any are found??? This seems to be a scam and I will report to the Business Bureau and check up with PayPal.

Total scam, comes up at the top of the list on a google search. The guy who runs it also tried a New York Cab lost and found back in 2013. Great article in the NY Post.
Even uses a PayPal payment option to legitimise his site (I got a full refund within 12 hours).
There seems to be a few of these sites. This one does not take credit cards (always a sign or a dodgy site).
Just go to the actual airport website, they do not charge and they are the ones most likely to have your item.

There is no reason to believe that these good reviews of this company are even real! Most of them appear to be an opinion and do not contain information on user's actual experience.

Really? Would you really pay a fee to a perfect stranger to find your items when you don't even know that person or that the items will be returned. This sounds like a scam to me!
Check with the airline and airport first that have their own lost and found processes. That is all this company will do anyway. What a great way to get paid for nothing!

Totally disaster!!!!!! I paid almost 40 dollar to be able to get a pair of headphones back. And in the information they told me I would get a total refund if not succesfully found.
They did NOT found my headphones and I did NOT get a refund. I had some kind of mailcontact with someone at this "company" and they promised to fix this refund but never did.

I really recommend that you find some other kind of way to find lost property. This is a scam and they steal money for you and you get absolutely nothing in return. I had the exact information when and where I forgot myheadphones and despite that they did not succeed and like i mentioned I did not get anymoney back.

So stay away from this company (so called)!!!

This is a great site, having the ability to crowdsource for lost items is really helpful. Not only am I hoping to get a missing item back, but I will be sure to look at this before traveling in the future!
