Air miles does put you on hold, but they do eventually phone you back, and then they will bend over backwards to help you. I will continue to take full advantage of the air miles program provided .

I made a mistake booking a one way flight. As soon as a realized, I called Air miles to cancel it. I was only on hold for about 1hr. A very nice gentleman by the name of Sebastian provided outstanding customer service and rectified the mistake I had made. I'm very grateful for his help.

Onyx membership confusion
The agent I reached was very nice but I question if agents know or understand the rules of onyx membership because online information is different than the information from agent. Wait times are much too long and there is no call-back option, which would indeed be an asset.

Forget something going wrong, Had a previous experience where I had a 4 hour wait on the phone and now I can' even log into my account by either method and can't recover anything. Won't even recognize my account number. Most useless site I have ever used. If I am ever able to get in I will try to redeem all of my points and get a different card.

Been a collector for over 2 decades and collected thousands of points, only to have them fall dormant and get 'removed' because I haven't used my account for a while. Funny, that my login is still valid for the website and doesn't show that my account has expired. I just have 0 points showing. What a scam! Leaves a very sour taste in my mouth!
Customer Service is the Worst
My account was hacked and points stolen. I tried 4 times to contact contact an agent and was on the phone for over an our waiting with no results. Then I spent and hour and and half online. Still never spoke to anyone. Customer service is the worst. Out over $600.00 and no one to get help from. Online service is the worst I have ever experienced. This program is a complete waste of time and effort to be part of.
Wait times unacceptable
I agree with everybody about the wait on hold. I have been on hold for 2 hours and 52 minutes, but I was told my wait time would be 2 hours and 10 minutes. I don't believe there are that many people calling Airmiles every time I call. I watched 2 tv shows and went grocery shopping while on hold and when I returned home I was still on hold. How many people do they have working there??? I'm about to go for a run with headphones so I can answer. I wonder if they'll answer my call while running? If there are people working there, they definately need more staff. I'm tired of hearing a recording saying agents are trying to get to calls quickly. Haha. What a joke.

WORST EXPERIENCE, i have spent thousands of dollars to earn miles and now that i am trying to redeem some, they BLOCKED my account. SAMANTHA is the agent that blocked my account. BLOCKED FOR NO REASON. I had to wait 6-10 weeks to get this resolved for simply trying to redeem a 10$ gift card with my miles, while i have spent over 50000$ on my credit card to earn my miles. SAMANTHA has to be looked at.

I recently discovered unauthorized activity on my account, resulting in the disappearance of 4,655 Air Miles points. None of the withdrawals have been performed by me. I believe my account was hacked, and I am extremely concerned about both the security of my personal information and the loss of my hard-earned rewards.
I have made numerous attempts to contact Air Miles regarding this matter:
1. By telephone: I was informed of a wait time of 2 hours and 50 minutes, which is unreasonable for a security-related issue.
2. Via online chat: I spent approximately 1½ hours in the queue system, repeatedly being told an agent would connect with me "shortly," only to be stuck in an endless loop of automated messages.
This level of customer service is unacceptable, particularly when dealing with account security breaches and theft of rewards.

Just a repeat of everything that is said on here....waited 3 hours 40 minutes 1st time, went on line and chat bot hung up 3 times, went back to the phone and its been 90 minutes so far (although it said I had a 10 minute wait when it accepted my call).....there is no customer service. I haven’t received bonus AIR MILES in years.
Every time they have a promotion, I watch my amount & it stays the same, have the receipts to prove it, customer service doesn’t exist and you will never get it!
* Today was the last straw when they sent me an email telling me about bonus $10 cash miles if I get 30 L fill at Shell Gas…, went and got gas like a sucker, two hours later I receive an apology email saying that the email was sent to me in error. Absolute Rip off! Absolute joke, but we aren’t laughing & now we know that AirMiles.ca is a total waste of time. Cashing out and cutting up my card.
Not even worth it to show at any of the small amount of retailers that still carry this poor excuse for a points card.

Needed support as i could no longer use my airmiles. time doesnt seem to be fixing the problem. So i called. Wait time 3+hours, didnt have that much time so i called another day. Wait time 2.5 hours, tried again another day first thing. They open at 8am I called at 8:04, 2.5 hour wait time! Who has that much time to sit on hold.. Not me! So today I have nothing pressing so i decided i'd call 8am on the dot. Remember, they open AT 8AM! It said wait times were 2 hours and 5 minutes. Well I've been on hold over 3 hours!!! There is no way 50 people had already called in before me, a few would make sense but not 3 hours worth of people. DOES ANYONE ACTUALLY WORK HERE?
Polite customer service but INSANE wait times
I appreciate the politeness and understanding of the representative I finally spoke with, but the process to get there was EXTREMELY frustrating. The lack of a call-back system meant I was left waiting 10+ hours on hold over multiple attempts just to reach someone. On top of that, the estimated wait time said 10 minutes, yet 2.5 hours later, I was still on hold—which does not set the right expectation. It truly felt like my time and patience didn’t matter and that there was little regard for the customer experience. Implementing a call-back system and providing more accurate wait times would make a huge difference. I hope to see improvements in accessibility and response times moving forward.
The wait was definitely worth it!
I knew waiting times were long, and I was ready for it. At the end, I was lucky to fall on Neshi. Neshi provided superior customer service. She was polite, extremely understanding and patient when explaining many features. She went through the whole site with me over the phone as if nobody else existed. The wait was definitely worth it!
