Sick when at club med
I was in club med punta cana in the domenican republic. In 1 hour i had a video consultation and got through the mail the prescription for medication. Excellent experience, very proffesionañ doctor and efficient response. Eveything completely covered by my insurance.

Dr was incredible, the team was super sweet, it was so easy and comfortable to find a place and book an appointment. They even gave me a bag of snack snacks along with my medication!

Bait and switch
** A quick update: Although Air Dr. promised to send me an itemized bill, nothing has arrived. I'm tired of waiting, so I've filed an official complaint against the company and the doctor with the government of Argentina. Maybe that will get some action, **
I had to have three stitches removed while in Buenos Aires. I used Air Doctor and was charged $112. The visit to the doctor took five minutes. He removed the stitches and put a bandage on the wound. When I got home I was sent a bill for a further $185 for "treatment of a wound." It was charged directly to my credit card. On the invoice there was no itemized list, no detail on why the $185 charge. I complained and Air Doctor has basically said we warned you there could be extra charges. So $297 to have some stitches removed. Think before you use this company. You might be better off going to a local clinic.

Easy to navigate and very helpful
It was really easy to find a doctor in my area and book an appointment. The bios and reviews for each doctor are very helpful for picking a doctor. They seem to be all really knowledgeable and helpful. It was a great experience for me as a foreigner who was sick.

Have Confidence to Use This Service
First of all--being in a foreign country and getting sick is no walk in the park. So when your sickness dictates you better see a doctor -- you are naturally nervous. Unfamiliar territory to say the least. This was my first time using Global Doctor and it could not have gone better. From using the app to scheduling the doctor visit-- everything was way above 10 out of 10. I mean-- a house call in a foreign country. Doesn't get any better. I was a sick puppy.
