Africa Odyssey Anmeldelser

Well organised from the outset by our travel consultant Sam, and extremely friendly and helpful staff at all lodges. Food was excellent and guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

We have toured Africa twice now with Sam's help at Africa Odyssey. On both trips, Sam listened to what we preferred and suggested activities and lodging that were perfect for our tastes. It cannot be easy to please everyone, but Sam consistently has provided us with the most extraordinary experiences. He is responsive, kind, patient and helpful. We hope to use him again if we venture to Africa in the future!

We recently returned from Kenya where we were on a safari planned by Africa Odyssey. They are very thorough and do a great job in planning and communicating. I previously used Africa Odyssey for a safari to South Africa and Botswana. Both experiences were excellent! When we return to Africa in the future we will definitely use Africa Odyssey again.

Once again Sam has proved his weight in gold! Another awesome recommendation - Anabezi camp (Zambia). What a fantastic trip and seamless from start to finish. If you haven't considered Zambia before you should definitely speak to Sam. Leopard sightings were phenomenal!

From beginning of the planning of our itinerary we have been given so much advice based on our interests by Dave, the safari expert of Africa Odyssey. Dave was so patient to meet our changes of the itinerary and made every detail of the itinerary clear. It is proved that the safari was fantastic and the itinerary is great. We are very satisfied with what we have felt from the safari and even over our expectations. Thank you Dave and Odyssey, we have got a unforgettable memory from Africa.

Sam helped plan our honeymoon from start to finish. He offered real-world advice based his own experience, worked within our budget and sprinkled a lot of little extras on top which really made a difference, like airport meet n greets. These guys are worth every penny.

Africa Odyssey made our first African Safari an unbelievable experience. Sam was the best organizer, gave us amazing recommendations and set up a perfect honeymoon for us with lots of personalized surprises. We had many questions but Sam made it an easy process and booked a perfect adventure just as we wanted. Couldn't recommend higher - will 100% book with Africa Odyssey again.

Africa Odyssey was recommended to us from a friend but we still shopped around. It was clear from the start AO was the easiest to work with. Sam was so great, handled all our requests, put together a great itinerary, re-worked with our changes, and all his advice was proven to be perfectly on target once we got there. We're going back, and will use AO again!!!

Our trip was perfect from start to finish. Africa Odyssey listened to our interests, needs, and budget and helped us plan an ideal itinerary. We had top notch service everywhere we went and not a single pick or drop off was late or missed. We also LOVED the choices of where to go, what to see, and where we stayed. The lodgings were fantastic, particularly our safari lodge. The staff were truly amazing and we saw every animal of which we dreamt. I can't say enough good things about our trip and our experience!!

Our experience was absolutely incredible. From our first call with Sam to finalizing our itinerary, to the actual experience in Kenya, everything exceeded our expectations. Sam was incredibly knowledgeable, and our itinerary was tailored to our traveling style and interests. Words fall short when describing the experience, the incredible staff, and the places we stayed on our trip. We already want to go back and will absolutely work with Africa Odyssey again when we do!

Truly a flawless trip to Botswana. Everydetail was looked after by Africa Odyssey. They did a terrific job!

When discussing the itinerary for our recent holiday we were impressed by African Odyssey's ability to understand our requirements and propose a suitable itinerary. The holiday was a great success. Apart from their experience and local knowledge it became apparent that African Odyssey regularly visit and audit the locations they recommend.

I experienced excellent and thorough communication by the staff of Africa Odyssey to customize my family's first safari trip. The advice I received was very helpful and accurate. In addition, Vamoos was a terrific app to supplement our travel itineraries and share with our family members. Africa Odyssey has very knowledgeable staff and each step of our journeying was well-planned and efficient. My family are so impressed and look forward to using their expertise once again to create yet another unique and memorable adventure!

This is my second time working with Dave at Africa Odyssey. I went back to Africa Odyssey a second time for the most obvious reason - the first trip was a smashing success.

This most recent trip exceeded expectations on all fronts. The itinerary went off without a hitch and the camps were exactly what we wanted. Dave's advice and personal experience were critical in achieving this. He "threw in" a helicopter transfer between two camps that really was memorable.

Separately, as I think Dave will advise, if anyone is planning on visiting Botswana, Mombo is a must. A spectacular property in an amazing area with world class food and service.

This is my second time using Africa Odyssey, and third Africa multi-stop itinerary. Everything was first class from the initial scoping, amending, suggesting alternatives. Down to delivery in resort, people, communication, timings and quality of accomodations recommended. First class, and cannot wait to go again.

Our second time of using Tanzania Odyssey - this time to the Selous & Ruaha. Dave’s insights on the various camps were extremely helpful and his final recommendations spot on. We stayed at Sand Rivers & Usangu Expedition Camp - two very different experiences; both first class combining to make an extra special trip to southern Tanzania. Our experience at Usangu was well worth the longish journey to get there; a really great camp in which to experience first hand the conservation challenges faced in this remote part of the Ruaha. We loved it!
Dave’s planning & ground arrangements went like clock work - a great safari in every way.

So glad to have chosen Africa Odyssey to organise our 1st safari. Every leg was meticulously and professionally planned making this trip effortless and utter joy from beginning to end. Thank you to Dave for overseeing all the logistics of a complex itinerary.

Great experience, both in terms of planning and the trip itself

Everything was planned and carried out professionally. The tour companies that were hired treated us like gold! The staff were accommodating, the drivers were knowledgeable , the food and drink delicious and the wildlife viewing was incredible! We will definitely use them again for another trip!
