Good Quality But Flawed
I would love to give Aevitas a higher score, the quality and price for the watch roll is beyond competitive.
But unfortunately the way the watch sits in the case is just wrong. Similar cases from competitors do not centre the cushion and instead offset it so there is more room between the watch crystal and the case, less between the clasp and the back of the case.
The way it is done here just means the watch crystal will touch the inner lining of the case, which may well be ok for sapphire crystals but for Hesalite it would leave a mark, especially if dirt got in there.
*In reply, I am going to gift the case to my Dad as it will fit his watch. Hesalite is just a brand of acrylic, as used on a lot of cheaper watches, but also vintage watches and some luxury ones such as the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch.

Hello Matt, Thank you for your comments which we 100% take onboard. Being a watch Travel Roll its always going to be a compact item by design, your unusual Hesalite could be easily protected with addition of a silk or satin cloth and our desings are aimed at more common and usual watches. The design is perfect for 99% of watches so I hope you still get good use from it as I note you chose not to return it. Thank you again.
