I have been a member of the Act On This community for a few years now. And what really brought my attention was how genuine Ross Grant seemed. I wasn't wrong.

Everything Ross promised, he has delivered. Ross and Petch will answer every single question posted on the members area, as well as emails, with an element of detail that honestly I don't know how they find the time for this!

The content you will get by joining is GOLD. I have never been more informed about different casting directors / writers / actors / directors approach as I am now. The questions that are asked are not only cool in a way that you feel like you know someone better and feel like you can have something to chat about if you ever meet that person, but they are also meaningful to our careers. They are questions that help us see the process with transparency, and help us understand with clear detail how to get on people's radar. Another thing the community is amazing at, is in constructive feedback and how to find motivation when things get tough.

Ever since I joined, I have had way more replies from Casting Directors now, than ever before as well. I did the bulletproof actor programme last year, which has taken me out of a weird stage in my career, and made me "Act On It" more in 2023. And the result has been more auditions, a new VO agent, more networking, a more chilled out Sara for sure - a happier me. And I can't wait to do the TV fast track course.

I wish I had more time to join every single event LIVE so I can try and get a chance to turn on video and ask questions. But an incredible thing is actually the ability to watch everything at my own pace - Ross has never put any pressure on that realm, which is another thing I love. He is just pretty chill. And I feel his business has grown from authenticity. Which is the best way to grow.

Quite simply the best acting industry advice that you can get. Super cheap compared to those who offer less. Has great guests on webinars, from Hollywood stars to casting directors and directors. Online and in person meet ups. Have been a member for a number of years and it is the best money I have spent in my career.

I've learnt more from "Act on This" in the past 2 years than I have my whole acting career. Ross specialises in the business of acting, approaching directors, agents, casting directors. How to maximise your showreels, headshots & voice reels - literally anything. I've just recently signed with a new agent thanks to ross and also found a new accountant, again recommended by ross, who has just completed my Self Assessment for me and saved me a fortune, an accountant that works with actors and understand us. I have nothing but praise for Act on this. There is nothing out there that condenses and teaches everything like this! - Act on this - A gem of a find!

As a 61 year old who had lots of amateur dramatics experience but wanted to have a go at being a better actor and really learning the craft I enrolled in acting classes on a part-time basis absolutely amazing but there is still so much to learn about how to not only be the best I can be but also the mechanics and everyday stuff like showreels how to audition what agents look for and another group of people encouraging me not judging but supporting. If you’re an actor and like most of us, spending a fortune on workshops, headshots, classes and occasionally snake oil - STOP! Make joining AOT your priority. Ross & Petch will guide you to make better choices, decisions and up your game on the ‘business’ of acting. They ( and the whole community) are absolutely lovely. Really supportive and uplifting - we all need that right ! I thought I was prepared for this industry but since joining AOT, I’ve discovered that there were massive gaps in my knowledge. I’m already so much more confident in my ability as a working actor and would urge anyone new to the business to join now. Save yourself a lot of pain and money down the road !

I am very impressed with Act on This. It goes all out to help actors be proactive in getting work for themselves - no more sitting around waiting for a call - offering not just advice but tools to work with. They are also very good value.

Being able to listen to people that are in the business and hear their advice on how to navigate around everything is great and to be able to watch back at a time that suits you is really helpful very much value for money .

I love the energy that Ross puts in and there have been some very good interviews with casting agents and directors that have been really usefull.

I joined Act On This after completing the 5 day challenge which was full of extremely useful information, tips and guidance for actors.
I’ve just come off a live webinar with a top agent.. it’s so good to be able to hear advice directly from the top industry professionals; agents, CDs, Actors etc and to see what they’re like as a person aswell.
It is a fantastic resource with heaps of recorded webinars which are not just available to watch via video but also via audio if you’re out and about or doing other things ... love that.
Ross and Petch who run the site are very friendly, approachable, supportive and knowledgeable.
