The Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships (AASP) is an Alberta Government approved Health and Safety Association. We are a service-focused Certifying Partner and a registered non-profit organization under the Society Act of Alberta providing a practical and reasonable approach to health and safety in the workplace. Through our commitment to our members, and solely through their funding of memberships and course fees, the AASP has grown to be the second largest issuer of Certificates of Recognition (COR and SECOR) in the province. The AASP is also the largest non-funded Certifying Partner that serves all industries in Alberta. It is our commitment to serving the businesses of Alberta in a quest for zero incidents that has made the AASP a successful and respected leader in the Occupational Health and Safety industry as a whole. We are relentless in finding ways to improve the value that our services can provide to our member organizations, and to Alberta Industry in general. Since its inception, the AASP has pioneered, developed, and been an early adopter of technical solutions that improve efficiency and reduce cost.

AASP provided clear guidance, timely responses, and a very structured review process throughout our SECOR self-assessment. The audit team was professional, patient, and supportive, which made the process smooth and efficient, especially for a growing company completing SECOR for the first time.What this company is doing well:
AASP excels at communication, clarity, and consistency. Their review process is well organized, expectations are clearly explained, and follow-up is handled professionally. The digital COR issuance and coordination with WCB also significantly reduce administrative delays and improve efficiency.
Overall, AASP delivered a reliable, transparent, and supportive certification experience. We appreciate their professionalism and would confidently recommend them as a certifying partner.

Lori was very knowledgeable in the course content and presented the information at a good pace. As a person with pervious auditor experience, it was a good exercise for me to go through the full training once more after many years of completing refreshers and gain the prospective of new auditors coming into the field.
