Elie was absolutely fantastic with my driving. After working with him for many months he made me feel comfortable we had many laughs and not once did he get angry with me or shout at me when I made a mistake. He made driving feel natural and even when I couldn’t get something right he helped me with different resources. 10/10 experience

I am so happy I used A class driving, my instructor Paul Barwick was incredible, he helped me pass my test quickly. I always found my lessons enjoyable as he was fun to be around but also professional so I got the most I could of my lessons.

Johan has been an amazing instructor
Johan has been an amazing instructor. I can’t recommend him enough! I did an intensive driving course with him over two weeks & thanks to his excellent teaching I passed my test first time with only 2 minors.
From the start, Johan was the perfect fit for me, especially as someone who struggles with anxiety. He was incredibly patient, calm & supportive throughout the whole process. He created such a relaxed environment during lessons which really helped build my confidence.
His way of explaining things is clear & practical, and he always took the time to make sure I fully understood everything before moving on. Even when I felt nervous & wanted to give up he stayed positive & reassuring, which made a huge difference.
Thank you for helping me achieve this milestone & most of all for believing in me when I didn’t

A-Class team
A-Class team, particularly Elie, were very flexible with timings & dates. I've been driving for the last 10+ years in another country but needed lessons to remove bad habits.
Elie helped me to schedule an intense session - about 12 hours in a few days - each session had a plan, each session had a clear feedback on things to work on for the next one. At the end of the day before my test, it was clear I still had some mistakes so Elie made an effort to book me in for a few more hours prior to the test very early in the morning.
I've passed my test on the first attempt.

My experience was absolutely amazing I had a really amazing instructor named Paul Barwick who made me feel comfortable every single lesson. He would tell me what I need to improve and what I’m good at as well as ensuring I would understand where I went wrong and what I can do next time so it doesn’t happen again. He also helped me build more and more confidence and I would 100% recommend him to anyone else looking to have an experience like me or even better .I have nothing but positive things to say about the whole journey and would definitely do it again.

I would not recommend A-Class to anyone.
I would not recommend A-Class to anyone. My first instructor was someone I had to make a complaint about after one lesson. This guy thought it was acceptable to have his knees up on the dashboard watching football on his phone while I practised repeatedly pressing the accelerator while stationary. He also wasted 20 minutes of the time I paid for asking me questions about his other business ventures after I told him what I do for a living. To top it off, he was texting while driving as he drove me home from Darland. The lady on the phone asked me to email Jason directly, which I did, and I received an automatic acknowledgment, but he never followed up.
My second instructor was alright to start with, but after I failed my first test, he just seemed to give up on me and saw me as easy money. Twice a week, it was always in the middle of my lesson that he needed to fill up his car. Did he add the time on? No, he didn’t. Month after month, I was making no progress, and he never even tried a different approach, just using patronising metaphors about how a busy roundabout is like a children’s ‘merry-go-round’.
After 90+ hours of lessons, I gave up, so thanks for nothing. I won’t be recommending A-Class to anyone. I swapped to Kinetic and passed a couple of months later.

First and foremost, the behaviour you describe regarding your initial instructor does not reflect the standards we expect from any member of our team. When your complaint was raised, we acknowledged your email and addressed the matter with the instructor at the time. We apologise if our follow-up communication did not meet your expectations. We take all feedback seriously and review concerns internally.
With regard to your second instructor, he invested significant time with you and made consistent efforts to build your confidence and improve your understanding of more complex areas such as roundabouts. He tried a range of teaching approaches over several weeks and even suggested reducing lessons to one hour per week to help you consolidate learning between sessions.
Learning to drive is different for everyone, and progress can vary significantly from pupil to pupil. While we always aim to adapt our methods to suit individual needs, instructors can guide and support, but progress also depends on how skills are absorbed and practised between lessons.
We are pleased to hear that you have now passed your test and genuinely wish you safe and confident driving for the future. Sometimes a change of instructor can make a positive difference, and we’re glad you found an approach that worked for you.

My experience with Paul Barwick as my driving instructor was brilliant. He explained everything clearly, always calm and patient. We always had a laugh about our football team that we support and has a great personality. Driving with Johan (A Class) 10/10
I had a great experience learning to drive with Johan in A Class. I did an intensive course (manual) and went from day 1 barely knowing how to drive to passing my test in 2 weeks with only 1 minor mark. He is an incredibly patient and informative instructor who explains everything clearly and calmly, which really helped boost my confidence behind the wheel. No matter the situation, he would make sure I understood what I was doing and why I’m doing it. Johan never rushed lessons and always took the time to answer questions or go over things again. His teaching style is very supportive and professional, and i genuinely felt well prepared within the 2 weeks to learn. I would highly recommend Johan in A Class to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable instructor.

Bilal was my second driving instructor and from the beginning I found him very easy to get on with but also very professional. His technique of teaching had both constructive criticism and plenty of encouragement . He went well beyond to make me feel positive and relaxed during the lessons . I passed last week with Rob!!!!!
I passed last week with Rob. To say he was AMAZING is an understatement. His ability to keep me calm, relaxed whilst making sure every lesson was beneficial and useful was incredible and very well appreciated it. I travelled over an hour for my lessons and he made sure to make some adjustments to save me some time and money, really shows how he was willing to compromise for my own sake. Kind of gutted I won’t get to see him anymore, he was a breeze of fresh air and I truly think I had passed because he was extremely emotionally aware and knew how to handle and mitigate learners nerves. I hope the best for you Rob I now understand the hype around you!! Haha ( BOOK HIM ) ;))))

Absolutely fantastic experience
My instructor was Johan. He was absolutely amazing. Honestly if you are looking for a driving school stop here and go with A- class and if you can, ask for Johan because he was brilliant, patient and very understanding. I have Adhd, dyslexia and I felt very supported. I passed first time today. So again, just go with this company and GET JOHAN!!!!!
