I have used 24/7 emergency two times
I have used 24/7 emergency two times, and I must say they're one of the best plumbing companies that I have hired in Calgary. They're fast, reliable and their technicians are very efficient. I very much recommend them and I will definitely continue using them.

My main floor washroom was clogged on Christmas day and I had an event that same evening! they had a plumber come in under 2 hours! They were very professional and broke down the situation in layman’s terms. I will use this company again

AVOID THIS COMPANY... RIP OFF!!
I'm usually a very positive person with at least one kind word on reviews... but I'm sorry, this company is a COMPLETE RIP-OFF. I'm in a one-bathroom condo, and on the long weekend (Sat 4:30 pm) my toilet backed up. I called six different places but no one had a person to come until Tuesday. I kept calling and this company could have a guy here in 90 minutes. I asked multiple times how they charge, and the only "actual" number she gave was "$60 for call out fee". I asked for at least a general base/start price so I could decide if I could afford it. But nope, I kept getting the same answer, "It depends on the difficulty of the job". Well, that tells me nothing. But, because I was desperate, I agreed. The guy came out with no tool box (in case it was needed)..He only had a snake (auger). He got the toilet cleared in about 10 minutes, then used half a roll of toilet paper to test it with multiple flushes. Then came the heart attack part. He doesn't tell me the exact total, but says his office will call right away and give the amount. Two minutes later, the office called, explained the bill (sort of) and said it was $720!!!!!! WHAT?!! For 10 minutes work? Yes, it's a long weekend, and yes it's after 4:30, but really?!! I practically begged her to help me out, that I'm on disability income and just don't have that much money. hoped they'd have a little compassion. All she would do for me is tell me if I could pay with E-transfer, she would take off $90. I agreed to at least take that. I did the E-transfer, but later when I saw the invoice, the discount was only $25. Not the $90 she promised. My bill in the end was $690!! And you won't believe what the "admin fee" is... $86.25 (15% of the total bill). The guy did a great job, but if you have any kind of a budget you need to stick to...STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!

This company is total rip off and…
This company is total rip off and liars.
For 45mins drain cleaning job billed me $760 plus tax. When asked to explain kept on arguing and later settled for $600+tax. There is no plumber makes $600 an hour.
I asked for quote but got stories and no clear answer. I was in need to get my kids washroom drain fixed and called in service. Plumber came in, I had toilet seat removed to make it easier and after trying for 45mins drain was cleared. When I received calll from their office they billed me $760+tax.
Do no it use these advantage takers. They will rob you of your money. Stay away and find local plumber

Poor customer service and hidden fees
Scheduled for a plumber to come out to our house. He identified the issue but was unable to resolve it. I went out and purchased the appropriate products and was able to fix it myself.
When I received the bill, there were a lot of hidden fees. I attempted to speak to a customer representative, but there are none! Other than speaking to someone to book the call, I can't seem to get ahold of a live person!
Do not use this company.

They’d Take Your First Born If They Could
This company bleeds you for every penny they can! The “fees” that are added in AFTER the work has been done are dishonest and ridiculous. Never mentioned prior to starting the work. They charge a $99 Admin Fee (for website, telephone etc expenses - WHAT??!!) and they charge a $60 Call Out Fee which most companies don’t charge if they end up doing the work. Add to that the $40 Transportation Fee and you’ve now paid $199 before even getting to the actual labour costs. The owner should be ashamed of himself - no idea how this company is still in business. The only good thing about this company is their employee who did the actual work - he was great. Would be my go-to plumber if he wasn’t associated with 247 Emergency Plumber. Stay as far away as possible from this company!!

Very shady company that should be given…
Very shady company that should be given a wide miss. Horrible hidden fees - almost $1000 for a 20 minute job because plumber didn't have parts available. They claim they are a local business - however they refused to provide their mailing address. They triage with real plumbers (who they probably also stiff) whilst extorting a ridiculous overcharge from the unsuspecting consumer being hit over the head with a 10 pound hammer. Shameless, unethical 0 Stars and should be investigated with Better Business Bureau!!! Use the brand name local trusted plumbing companies. All these people do is have a fancy website with Google Ad Marketing and they are a pure Google Marketing company. Terrible. Don't use.

Overpriced and did not communicate fee before fix
Like the previous negative review of this company, 24/7 Emergency Plumber is an overpriced, and one shady company that I wished I have read the review before I contacted them. I had an emergency shut off valve leak, in panic I made a mistake calling the first sponsored advertisement online of this 24/7 emergency plumbing company. The website promised service within an hour, the plumber arrived more 3 hours late! No complain about the plumber, he was a nice guy and got the job done in like 10 minutes. But the company is one shady company that overcharged on a 10 min job, and didn’t disclose all the hidden charges when I first called them. The customer service on the phone only told me about a $100 emergency call out fee and extra charge about the parts. The final bill was more than $600! $100 emergency call out fee, $10 for the part, $40 for the plumber’s transportation and $330 for labor charges! With taxes and 15% admin fee it came out to $600+, for a 10 min job and 3 hours late!
