Held my $13,512 payout, gave three different reasons and blocked my account twice
I used 1TCH's USD account to receive contractor payments from a client. Two smaller deposits went through without problems. On October 27, 2026, a $13,512 ACH payout arrived and stayed at "Processing".
The next day 1TCH blocked my account. The notice said: "Following a compliance review, we have made the decision to discontinue fiat transfer services." It said crypto withdrawals are blocked, that crypto funds "have been returned to the company's main wallet and are no longer available for withdrawal", and that eligible fiat payments "will be returned within 30 business days".
I can no longer log in to see my balance or the status of my deposit. On the same day, 1TCH published a press release promoting its fiat-to-stablecoin service.
In my opinion, a payments company should never move customers' money into its own wallet and refuse to release it. I would not keep a balance or receive a large payment through 1TCH. I have asked them in writing for a refund date and will update this review with what happens.
UPDATE, October 29, 2026:
On October 29, within about five hours, 1TCH support told me:
- that the payment was "under review" by its payment provider, and that 1TCH does not place holds on customer funds;
- that the transaction had been "rejected from our end" because a request for information wasn't answered in time. 1TCH never passed that request on to me;
- that I could see the refund in my account. When access was briefly restored, there was no refund, and the deposit still showed "processing", last updated October 27;
- "Please wait."
When I asked whether they had actually asked for the money to be returned, the reply was "Ok".
On October 29, 1TCH blocked my account again, this time citing "suspicious activity" with no explanation, and said the funds "will be returned to the original sender". 1TCH's website still advertises ACH and wire accounts.
This is ordinary contract pay from the same client as my earlier deposits, and I can document it. As of today, I have no return date or reference. I have reported this to the payment provider and am filing complaints with regulators. I will update this review again when the money is returned, or if it isn't.
