Incompetency beyond belief

The incompetency exhibited by this company in handling my insurance policies beggars belief. They wrote off a £60,000 car by mistake. The repair cost was £4,000. When I changed insurance companies they confirmed the incorrect no claims bonus to my new insurance provider, and then corrected it approximately 12 months later, lowering the NCB that I was entitled to. Took me a lot of discussions with my new insurance provider to resolve the situation. Admiral offered my £25 compensation for the problems that I had encountered, including being threatened with being blacklisted by my new insurance provider. Fortunately, my new insurance provider did finally accept that it was an issue at Admiral and not my fault, but with no help from Admiral. Now they have taken a premium for travel insurance on a policy that they accept was cancelled. They accept that the premium was not for my policy, but for someone else’s policy. So they have charged someone else’s policy to my credit card.

Do they really want to sell cars

Tried to purchase a car, having previously had excellent service from the company. This time, however, it was a very different story.

My address is no longer available for delivery, which only transpired after I got to the final stages of the purchase process and after I had arranged finance, which had to be in place to get to the stage I got to where they tell you they cannot deliver to my home address.

As an alternative an address was offered which the company do deliver to, but the company again refused the sale.

The reason given for non-delivery to my home address made no sense. There has been a change of policy, which they are fully entitled to make, but the explanation for the change was non-sensical. No reason was given for a refusal to deliver to an alternative address.

Further challenges to their position have led to responses which make it clear that they are not really interested in resolving issues and making sales, only in getting customers off their back.

I have come to the conclusion that this company has gone from a company that could take pride in the service provided to its customers to one that seems to operate for its own convenience and customers are nothing but a nuisance.
