Brand new Sharp drying machine less…
Brand new Sharp drying machine less than 30 days old stopped working, repair guy came out to find the heating element had melted through the plastic back cover, snapped the drive belt. Why would a heating element had a plastic cover?? Currys customer service guy called me days later to say the dryer would be replaced and that model was no longer available? i could have 20% increase and if wished could pay more as i didn't want afire risk in my house. My Wife called the sales people who wouldn't honor the 20% increase or allow us to pay extra. Then said they have no machines in that price range £389. So we asked for a refund, to this day we are still waiting for the refund, contact them via social media get the same crap, please submit details, then nothing until 48hrs later same response, may get a message saying your query has been passed on to a specialist. The machine was delivered on August 24th, Installed 31st August went wrong 23rd Sept and its now 5th November and nothing. This store only want to sell products when it comes to warranty they do not want to know. I don't think i will ever be refunded and as it is had to purchase another Tumble dryer but from another company.
