Arrived the next day. Well packaged. it arrived with a device-specific case which I wasn’t expectin but was appreciated.

Richer Sounds offered the product 50 quid cheaper than the nearest rival and delivered it a day ahead of target. No complaints! Product was excellent and as advertised.

Didn’t know much about this company but they were selling the sunglasses I wanted at a good price and delivered them the next day. The parcel was well packaged. Very happy with the service.

The claim was easy to make with the information I received from the car hire company. Orchard requested some additional information - this seemed reasonable in our particular circumstances - but once received they settled the claim immediately. It was paid in to our account the same day.

Ben was very helpful and knowledgeable in reviewing our options for vaccinations etc for a forthcoming trip. Our GP surgery didn’t provide much in the way of this service and recommended Carnforth Pharmacy. Easy to make an appointment via the pharmacy website.

Dealing with Orchard was easy once my claim was submitted and the claim was then settled and paid quickly. I've docked a star because you can only submit information online and my first attempt to set up a claim was thwarted as, having filled in numerous details on one page, the website kept re-loading the same page with the information wiped so I had to start again. This was eventually addressed by cancelling that claim and starting the claim process anew. It worked fine the second time around.

I bought a keyboard from them online. I was immediately phoned back by the company when I had trouble paying by card (standard security measure pending a check by the card issuer) and asked if I needed assistance. I didn’t but customer service was very prompt and thus appreciated. The keyboard arrived the day after I ordered it.

Having been directed to ActiveQuote by Go Compare when looking for health insurance I had a long and helpful phone discussion with a broker regarding the types of policies available and was then sent information on several different plans with a range a companies for further consideration . Further communication with a colleague of the broker by e-mail was straight forward. I felt well informed and would recommend the company based on my experience.

Questor came through and reimbursed my costs when I had to pay a car hire company extra. The company they outsource claims to require a lot of info to be uploaded in respect of a claim so it took me around 90 mins or so to scan or assemble this and then upload hence I drop 1*. Could that process be made easier and still ensure fraudulent claims are weeded out. Hope so! However after that it was quibble-free and they reimbursed the money I was paid so I'm happy and have renewed my policy.

When you log onto the Orchard site it's obvs you will have to upload a lot of info in relation to your claim (all stuff you should have from hire company etc). This was quite daunting and took probably 60-90 mins from scratch (hence "great" rather than "excellent") but thereafter it was straight forward. I did not have one of the items listed but they didn't quibble and the claim was settled. Could it be made simpler without inviting fraud? Dunno, but they paid up without any fuss so I am happy.

Form filling took a while but easy to keep in touch and process reasonably painless.

Nice hotel - stayed there due to proximity to Eventim Apollo but found we also really liked the neighbouring area. Room was fine for 3* - clean, reasonable size, comfy bed. We had little interaction with staff beyond check in but no complaints. Local area felt safe. Nice to do something out of the main areas and the tube connections are easy. Only downsides were we stayed on a weekend where it hit 30 in the day and dropped to 22 at night and missed air con (how often does that happen in UK?) and with window open it was very noisy overnight (and in day as there is a building site across road) but double glazing would deal with most of that if weather permitted windows being closed.

I've used Hotel Direct as an alternative to Booking.Com as I have had better deals on Hotel Direct at one of the London hotels that we like. We've also found it good for hotel plus theatre packages. It all works well and you get a confirming e-mail a couple of days before you go to say they've checked the room and it's all booked.

The Amp I bought was £40 (or more) cheaper than many of the alternative online stores. Free delivery. Arrived on the day promised. Can't fault it.
